I come here one Wednesday every month for the delicious Laksa soup. Rain or shine, I make the trek from building 200 to Cafeteria 600. It’s that good!

Specials: Monday: Bibimbap with Beef or Tofu(Korean rice bowl) Tuesday: Phở Gia(Vietnamese fusion chicken noodle soup in light broth) Wednesday: Laksa(Singaporean coconut noodle soup) Thursday: Cha Shu Wonton Ramen(fusion ramen with fried wonton and Chinese BBQ pork) Friday: Seafood Tom Yum Noodle Soup Out of all the specials, my fave is Monday and Wednesday. Be careful of the rice in the bibimbap — sometimes they’re like bird seed. Laksa is always good. Very hearty. If you miss it on Wednesday, they have it on Thursday in the soup station too but it won’t have all the fresh veggie goodies. Non-Oracle-employees(no badge) will be charged 20% more.

Only tried it twice so far. Chow mein wasn’t very good. But the Heavenly Laksa on wednesdays is wonderful. A little spicy but very tasty.

Chicken laksa on Wednesday was pretty tasty. You get a pretty large portion with a lot of noodles, chicken, and vegetables for just slightly more than $ 7. Plus, on a nice day, you can eat it outside with a view of Larry’s lake. Definitely worth a try if you work nearby!

I spend every day of the week looking forward to Wednesdays… because it’s laksa Wednesday at 600! I have a friend who has had laksa every Wednesday for 20 weeks in a row. You know it’s good if someone has had it that many times and still gets cravings for it. Besides the laksa I also enjoy the Asian salads and the other fare they offer. They have everything from fried fish(with the head mhmm legit) to curry and naan. I haven’t had a chance to make it out here for breakfast but they have congee on the breakfast menu. If only 600 were closer to my building!

Talk about friendly service and tasty food, consistently! I’m totally digging this place; the only thing I would ask for are slightly extended hours for those time’s in the afternoon when you find your sugar level’s dipping. But when that happens, a walk to bldg 300 is also a fun little jaunt.

this review is based on corporate cafes in general and Oracle corporate cafes in particular. I travel for work so I eat at a lot of companies cafes. Some are so bad I’ve thrown away the food rather than eat it. I’ve also ate at other silicon valley cafes so I’m well aware of what upscale high tech lunch cafeterias can dish up. Price wise, my food cost 6 bucks with tax(with no drink). To get whatever the fruit water of the day is, its an extra 2 bucks. I always go for the Indian food in 600. I have no idea what the names of the dishes are that I eat on any given day but the food is good. Damn good. I’m not Indian and don’t claim to be an expert but I know what I like and they have good Indian food. Good enough that many times I’ll go all veggie and skip the carne all together. It’s not borrning food flavor wise either. Today the coconut curry was frigging so spicy. Gotta love it. Yes at noonish the lines can be a little long but the staff is a machine and you move through the line pretty quickly. I hate lines but don’t have an issue even when the line is 10+ deep, I never wait more than a few minutes. If you are at oracle corporate, take the time to walk over to the 600 building and give the food a try

Oracle café is a quick workout and a quick lunch all rolled into 30 – 60 minutes. Walk around the beautiful Oracle lake and grab lunch at one of their 6 cafes ranging from different types of foods like Italian, Indian, Chinese, American, etc. Want something a bit healthier? Stop by the market pantry where you can get cooked to order poultry, fish and fresh salads. A true highlight of the Oracle Cafes is their bakery. In addition to their delectable favorites like chocolate chip cookies and brownies, they have seasonal treats like Haunted House cookies, Christmas cakes and Easter bunny cupcakes(while supplies last.) Want to wow your in-laws at Thanksgiving? Take one of their pie making classes for just $ 60. Learn how to make 3 different pies that will delight all your relatives during the holidays. Stop by one of their beautiful cafes today!

Free walk-ins, whether you work here or not. That’s a great asset to attrack more people to come, even though this company owns like half the town already. The caferia has a few stations — salad, grill, and wok bar. From looking at their menus online, I’m guessing this café is aimed towards Asian and Indian food? There were so many good choices to choose from, and they even had dim sum! Wow! They’re so thoughtful and you can tell they really try to cater to all their employees. Food looked better than expected(hence the fact that Bön Appetit was the caterer for my college dorm food). We ordered the Glass noodle Vietnamese Chicken Salad, and the Ginger chicken with fried rice, also a tandoori chicken skewer. All of the total of $ 15. Not bad! Great service, tasty food, and cheap! I would definitely come back and try the other cafes!

Though this café is known for their burgers I would strong recommend you get their daily specials instead. Their vegetarian special can easily lure you away from any special order burger(even one with bacon). Their staff is FIVESTARS just like the other cafes. They are sweet and nice and really add to the enjoyment of the meal. Everyone is lucky to have such a great service staff.

The 400 café consists of a salad bar, hot entrée stand, a sandwich bar, and a grill. Both the salad and sandwich bar are DIY. The hot entrée has menu items that changes daily, ranging from Pork Loin, Eggplant Parmesan, Honey Ham etc. The grill has hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, onion rings etc. Service is top notch and they grill your burgers to order, which may result in a ~10+ minute during peak lunch hours. Arrive before 11:45 am to beat the rush!

They just reopened this café today. Not sure what the reason for the closure was but the café still serves the same great food as before — entrees, burgers, deli sandwiches and salads. The chicken sandwiches here were my fallback options for when I forgot to bring lunch. Add a side of curly fries and I would be in calorie heaven. The grill also made quesadillas, grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers any style. In the summer, they would close the indoor grill and have the grill team work on a charcoal grill outside meaning extra good burgers and BBQ chicken. The new prices are higher than before and appear to reflect the use of sustainably acquired produce and meats.

Above average corporate cafeteria food. The selection is always fresh and tasty. Lots of vegetarian options. Good prices and it’s nice to sit outside by Lake Larry on a sunny day. I am giving it 4 stars based upon cafeteria food standards.

This is my favorite of the Oracle Cafes. You can walk in w/o a badge if needed, they have a special order burger bar, salad and deli bar, as well as a special dish of the day. With the many standard options and daily specials, I never run out of something to order. They also have yummy, cheap, hearty breakfast options.

Oracle Café 400 is the only Oracle café where you can actually smell what their cooking as you’re walking towards it. Sometimes you want a nice, juicy, grilled burger and you don’t want to pay more than 6 bucks for it. Oracle Café 400 is where you get it. Fries, onion rings, curly fries. Take your pick. They also grill up quesedillas, chicken sandwiches, and specials like cheese steaks and teriyaki burgers topped with a slice of pineapple. There’s also a sandwich bar where they charge by the ounce and you can add whatever you like, and an entrée bar with dishes ranging from curries to paella. But to be honest, I’ve never made it past the grill. Sometimes you want a nice, juicy, grilled burger. Oracle 400 is where you’ll find it.

The Oracle Cafes are renown for their great and diverse food options in the various buildings. Don’t be fooled, its an urban myth. Diverse sure, great no way.

Finally got a chance to eat lunch at HQ while I was taking a class an earlier this fall. I had grilled fish and veggies, which were pretty darn good. $ 6 for a filet of fish with a side of sauted zucchini and carrots and rice is a good deal for lunch. The fish was very lightly flavored(not spiced at all really) but it was hot and tasty even though it was on the plain side. I also had the nachos, which were just ok, a bit on the greasy side I regretted ordering it later. But I liked the chicken, sharp cheddar cheese and salsa. Still pretty reasonably priced and not bad for a lunch spot.

In terms of total food for the amount that you spend, 600 is the best in my opinion out of all the Oracle cafeterias. 200 is Japanese, so in general, the food is lighter. 300 is classier, but often has small portions. You can’t get filled up on salad! 500 has good panini sandwiches, but those definitely aren’t that filling. 400 is probably a tie with 600 in terms of cost effectiveness. Actually, I’m sure there’s lots of calories, considering all the grease that soaks the buns of the burgers. But 600 is always a special treat. The Indian food is good and filling. The meat is usually fairly tender and juicy, and the chickpeas are good too. The naan is pretty horrible, though. The mexican section gives you huge burritos and other mexican-american specialties. and the grill is on par with all the other grills at Oracle. But the thing about 600 that sets it apart from the rest of the cafeterias is the flavor. All the other cafeterias’ food is generally blander and more generic than 600, which is why 600 was always the cafeteria i looked forward to eating at. It definitely adds the most variety to the sea of Oracle cafeterias.
