Not sure on the negative reviews as the previous management seemed bad. Not my experience at all. Came in after speaking with Ian on the phone near closing. He measured me up and went through a few Iron Ranger boots I liked. Talked about care, breaking in and all the benefits of owning them. Really happy with purchase. I think there is new staff based on past reviews as they seem friendly and knowledgeable.

Shame this place only has 2 stars. All of the poor reviews are from about 8 months ago and it certainly wasn’t what I experienced. Walking into the store the manager was helping another customer but we were quickly assisted. He was the only employee there so he had a few customers to juggle but he managed to see each one with care. The manager was called Ian and unlike the previous reviews about another manager, he was extremely helpful, kind and knowledgable about all the products. You can tell when an employee is passionate about his job versus doing it for the paycheck. We came in for a pair of boots and he informed us about the type of leather, sole, and how to take care of it. Definitely great customer service and didn’t feel like we were pressured to get anything compared to other stores where the associates basically stalk you while you try on their products. Store itself has a variety of shoes for different types of wear and if you don’t see what you are looking for they are able to order it to the store. Overall a great experience and I wouldn’t listen to the previous reviews since they’re pretty dated and management seemed to change for the better in recent times. Just ask for Ian.

Ian, the store manager, helped me find a boot that was waterproof, safe on ladders, and made in the USA. I was impressed by his knowledge of the merchandise and his professionalism. I am so pleased with my new boots and cannot recommend this store highly enough. Thanks!

This place is currently under newer management I believe, because instead of the unpleasant woman talked about by others I was helped by a nice dude named Kai who was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. I found nothing wrong with the store at all and I encourage anyone doubting this place to try it out. It’s changed since the other reviewers visited.

Worst redwing shoe place ever, I showed up at 10:30 they’re supposed to open at 10 am. Store was closed lights on but closed employee showed up at 11 half asleep with basketball shorts with the worst attitude had about 5 people waiting outside for him, Talk about being professional. Don’t wast your time going to this location.

If I could give this store zero stars I would. Cindy Hernandez, supposed Store Manager, was rude, lazy, abrasive, and gave one of the worst customer experiences ever. She was reluctant to get me the sizes I requested and even more so reluctant to get me alternative sizes. When I told her that she should be nicer to her customers she arrogantly told me that I was interpreting her wrong. Ms. Hernandez is clueless and has no idea what customer service is. We left the store and went to another store. The economy must be doing too well because people like her who lack common sense are store managers. DONOTGO here. Go to the Red Wing store in Daly City.
