Styles For Less

Horrible customer service! I have never walked into a styles where there was not any sort of acknowledgemnt at all. I am considerate enough to put back items in the appropriate place when I have tried them on and they do not work for me. When I handed her back the last shirt which I could not remember where it went, she took it from my hand without any sort of expression. Like damn lady, would you have rather me out it in a random place. This is your damn job at least put on a fake smile. This is coming from someone who has worked in retail for two years.

I love this store. It’s like a smaller version of Forever 21 but not as crowded or complicated. It’s roomy and I can breath in this store and not go OCD from disorganization. Sizes run smaller than average to plus size so it’s a very body positive/​size acceptance store. They carry a wide range of affordable trendy fashions, shoes, accessories, etc. to build your wardrobe with and make your own style statements. Sign up for their free membership card to score even more savings.
Great staff, no snooty attitudes, easy parking in the shopping center lot and the perfect gem for local fashionistas.

After moving to Redwood City two years ago, I have been to other Styles for Less stores and during that time the one in San Jose, CA (Curtner) was my favorite. The clothing there was to my style and taste… until now.
I recently was hired as a resident photographer at a nightclub in San Francisco. I wanted to feel and look as if I was part of the staff (black on black attire). Since I have a wide collection of pants, tights, skirts, shorts in black, I figure I may need some nightclub-​ish tops (sexy, classy and comfortable). I’m not a fan of spending $$$ on tops since it’s a wardrobe in which I like to have lots of don’t use often. It’s what makes the outfit really. I thought of Styles for Less.
Very close to home, I found this location.
The parking lot is large and you can always find a parking spot in that lot. When I went in the store I was surprise how many tops and pants options they had. All colors in fashion based on the season (pastels and neon are in this season). As I looked around, it was hard not to look at other colors. Being that I was on a budget, I stuck to the black color attire.
The prices were a steal! Unless you’re really into brand names and all –I’m not– than this place is not for you. But if you’re looking to build a collection of tops with a large variety of colors of different tones; this is definitely find something here.
The service is okay. i think if they smiled more it would be perfect (if you know me, I’m really big on smiles). As far as professionalism goes, they acknowledge your presence there and helped you when you asked.
Will I be returning here? Most definitely!

This place is really great for folks who have a shopping itch that needs to satisfied ASAP with little collateral damage.
This location is super good and has amazing inventory.

This review is less about my love of this store and more about my 17 year old daughter’s. We’ve gone a few times and she always finds several things she likes. It’s pretty much like a Forever 21 (ok maybe one step down from that). So I would say the clothes last as long as Old Navy for what that’s worth. On the plus side, for about $ 100 she is able to several items and the t-​shirts and tank tops are really cheap and cute. It’s a good place to get some trendy basics without breaking the bank. I think it’s geared more for teens but you can pick up a few essential for the office.
