It’s a bubble tea place where you can pick up Asian cooked snacks. The list of warm and cold drinks is extensive. I think they use powder for flavours. As for snacks, most folks pick up the popcorn chicken. If you love spice, add some of the powdered red pepper. They don’t really do veggies in their lunch options. I would avoid the noodles items … mostly because they may be instant noodle ramen you could pick up from Safeway. Stick with the popcorn chicken and I think you’d be happy. Workers are friendly!

I’m giving this place a 3 star rating because the lady that helped me was really nice. She gave me a stamp on my frequent stamp card even though it didn’t apply. The worker there was also nice. Other than that, the drink I got was not good. It was cheap, however. A regular was only $ 3. I came here since it’s close to my work and was on my lunch so why not. It’s tea! I got a lychee green tea and it was so sweet. I could already tell by looking at the cup that there was a layer of syrup just sitting at the bottom. I have a big sweet tooth and sweet is my thing but this drink was too much. It was as if I was drinking a cup of lychee syrup and no tea. I couldn’t drink it right away because I wanted the ice to melt to dilute it. Even after the ice melted, it was still so sweet. Perhaps if I ordered it less sweet then I’d consider ordering the same drink again since lychee green tea is one of my go to drinks. Not sure if i’ll come back. There are other better milk tea places in the area.

Go Somewhere Else! The Asian owner dude here is extremely greedy and shaddy. Over priced low quality drinks and soggy snacks. Disgusting and money wasted.

So their phone isn’t working and they care less. Nice young guy at the reg but out wasn’t so nice when half my order didn’t get made and the owner dude«gave me someone elses so I didn’t have to wait.».. . Hello! I tried to call, still had to wait then had to wait even longer. Next time I have a fried tofu craving, I’ll just go to an Asian restaurant not a fast food joint called Quickly that’s anything but quickly.

Quickly was one of the first chains I hit up when I moved to the Bay Area and since then, I’ve explored many other chains that I’ve enjoyed more. Nevertheless, jasmine milk tea is something hard to get wrong. They do allow sugar level customizations, but the cashier snickered when I asked for 25% as though as I was pushing it. Is it that odd? Watching them make it was highly unappetizing; at that point, I didn’t even know if I wanted to drink it. Someone goes over to this standalone fridge and uses a ladle to scoop out some tea. THEN, proceeds to do the same to scoop out some milk(probably mixed w/sugar). Tea should come out of a spout or at least something that at least gives the impression of freshly brewed! How is this even customizing the sugar levels!!! You’re also screwing up the tea: milk ratio. Worse part… it’s not even mixed. Simply dumping it the sugar milk to the tea isn’t gonna do that much. At first, I could taste the tea. You could tell it was over-steeped. The pearls were slightly colder than the drink itself. Yes… I didn’t ask for ice, because it was cold, but refrigerating boba hardens the core going outward.

Had a large mango milk tea with boba. It was kinda late… the cashier was great, verrrry friendly. :) The drink was okay. This location is a bit unkempt. Unless you need your fix, probably best to pass this location. Quickly.

Went in for some fried corn and mozzarella sticks. They were out of both. This is the second time it has happened… the other time was about 6 months prior. Kinda sad and mostly disappointed. The girl behind the counter was helpful enough, but the TVs were off and the music wasn’t playing. I’d hate to see this location close, but of the 2 things I ordered, they were out of both… and according to the worker, they’ve been out of them for about 3 weeks. I’ll be back in a couple weeks to see if anything has changed. If not, I’ll just drive a little bit father to Ocha in San Mateo from now on.

The employees are very friendly, the octopus puffs are pretty good, The drinks are all pretty good. Idk when this started but its extra for the tapioca pearls now.

This place has an impressive menu of small food plates and drinks. Strongly Asian inspired so make sure you’re ready for things like octopus and boba. The corn nuggets are great and the rice bowls are pretty good. My favorite drink is tiger tea. That’s Thai tea and milk tea together. It’s great iced. They also have things called snows which are delicious and they have a ton of flavors. Just be warned that you may go into the store and stare at their immense menu for ten minutes to decide what you want only to be thwarted by the employees at the counter when they say, «Sorry. We’re out of that.» I’d give this place more stars because the food is delicious, for what it is, but they’re almost always out of the things I request so I can’t really give more than three.

I guess the RWC store is going through some employee transitions. There are always new and friendly people behind the counter. I LOVE the watermelon pearl drink. When there’s no watermelon, then get a pineapple. Yesterday, they weren’t slowly, but Quickly!

Sadly this is the only boba place I know of in redwood city.(Besides chatime and traffic is too crazy downtown at lunch time). The service her is horrible!!! I waited 5 minutes standing at the cash register for someone to take my order. Not once did they say«I’ll right with you or sorry for the wait,» no acknowledgement that I was even there! When the girl finally got around to taking my order I didn’t get a hello hi how are you or anything. She stared at me and said what do you want to order. That’s kinda rude. Once I placed my order she took my money handed me the change and walked away. No thank you nothing. Once my drink was made she left it on the counter and walked away. At least say bye or something. Such horrible service that I won’t even waste my time coming here anymore. I would rather take the time to drive downtown or go to another city for boba

Came here to have a quick lunch while I was in the neighborhood. I usually come here when I want something quick and inexpensive. it would be unfair to me if I commented on the food, since this is more of a tea house rather than a restaurant. this place is average neither bad or good. just plainly average. the one thing that kinda upsets me was an incident that happened today. went in, and like every time I go inside a boba establishment I ALWAYS get the same thing. oolong milk tea, no sugar with small tapioca. sometimes with half pudding if it’s cheat day. after waiting I heard them call the order.(actually I just heard small tapioca being called out and with everyone before me had already received their drinks, logically It was my order.) sat down, and drank a big gulp, and it was SO sweet and didn’t taste like oolong at all. I went to the counter and apologized for my inconvenience, and asked if this the correct order and she said«your ordered guava milk tea didn’t you?» and i told her no that wasn’t what I ordered and she replied«you said guava» 1.) i used to manage my own boba store for 3 years, and till this day I STILL don’t like artificially flavored milk teas. 2.) I don’t even like guava. 3.) even if I did, I hate sweet drinks and this drink was SUPER sweet, had being asked with no sugar. 4.) oolong and guava doesn’t not sound remotely close to each other… I get it, people make mistakes. I don’t hate her for it, she’s a nice lady. just a tip, the next time a similar incident happens, even if you are right. just apologize and don’t try to correct them. otherwise, you guys are doing a great job clearing the line. I know how annoying it is for everyone to order snows, especially during warmer weather. ;)

Their service is very slow ! Slow to order and slow to make orders. Also, their boba is definitely not the best I’ve had, either. Their drinks tend to be very watery and their pearls and jellies have this weird after taste to them. The tables are almost never clean and the floor is really sticky. I’d much rather go to Ocha in San Mateo or even La Sweet also in Redwood City. I enjoyed their egg puffs that they had here, however, which is one plus I guess. I’ve also had their Fried tofu over rice bowl and their Octopus Balls(I think it’s called Takoyaki ?) and they were not satisfying whatsoever. I gave this establishment two stars because the first time I came in their drinks were good and I liked the egg pastry puffs, the service and uncleanliness was in the same state, but at least the product was satisfactory. With that being said, every time I’ve been there afterwards(about 4 – 5 times) it’s been bad. Both service and product.

Came here at 1PM on a Wednesday. Place was pretty quiet. Ordered Popcorn Chicken Bento and a bubble tea. The bubble tea was typical Quickly quality. It fulfills the craving, but by no measure was it a good bubble tea. It was a long wait to get my bento. Not at all«quickly» like advertised. Once I did get it, the quality was pretty blah. The chicken was more batter than chicken. It was also crazy chewy. I don’t know what parts of the chicken were used, but they were probably the bad parts. There were also no greens in the bento: rice, two chewy gyoza, hard boiled egg, and chicken. The egg yolk was also SUPER salty. I was expecting just a regular braised egg but this was a salted egg. Don’t know if that was intentional and that’s why it worries me. The only redeeming quality of the bento was the quantity. There was plenty of chicken(which I ate less than half of… just couldn’t finish eating all the batter) and plenty of rice. Relative to other Quickly shops, this place doesn’t have that many food items. It seems like they just add those over time anyway. New flyer = new menu item. On the plus side, this place is a lot roomier than most other Quickly shops I’ve been in. The location was really odd though. If I wasn’t at Jo-Ann fabric anyway, I don’t think I would have bothered to come here. Mediocre bubble tea + crappy bento = 1 stars.

This Quickly is actually in this extremely random strip mall located in Redwood City. Usually they are tucked away in Asian plazas, but not this one. I asked for tapioca but the cashier failed to tell me that they were actually out of large tapioca balls. She put in the small ones. I didn’t realize this until after I had paid, and there was this hastily scribbled piece of paper on the counter that said that they were out of many toppings. The bubble tea is ok, albeit a bit watery. They do take credit cards, which is amazing for a bubble tea shop.

Place seems popular among the people in Redwood City or was it just because it was a warm February day? Lol. I ordered the Honey dew snow drink with small pearls but it was just ok… didn’t taste like the fruit and it was more sweet. I have to say I like Tapioca Express drinks better. I will have to try another flavor next time if I am in the area…

Lots to offer! Whenever I’m cravin boba I can always satisfy’t here! They’ve so many choices that the possibilities are endless! I typically go for honeydew or lychee! If I start lookin at the menu then my imagination beginsta run a muck and I start to delay and confuse myself! I love that they seal the drinks so they’re so easy Ta transport! Perfect for me cuz I longboard everywhere in RWC! No spills and nuthinta clean up. Definitely get a stamp card so you can get a complimentary drink or collect more and receive a bento box. The food looks so yummy! I’ve yet ta try’t! What I’m excited bout’s the Spam Musubi and am curious ta try the avocado snow the next time around! They’re also known for their egg puffs! Smells so delightful when you enter! The inviting aroma of vanilla waffles fill the atmosphere! I notice it’s quite popular w the staff of the nearby Kaiser Hospital, which isn’t tantamount to a healthy diet, but hey, ya wanna eat healthy then eat a salad! Their menu’s bangin that’s for sure! Much love!

Rude service and extremely loud, bad music playing. I’ve been here twice in the last month and the cashiers cuss frequently, today in front of a little 3-year old. I honestly would like to report her to the manager but from what I’m hearing, the manager is a hardcore potty mouth, too. I only come here because they have outlets by every table. And decent wifi, otherwise I wouldn’t.

Not bad for a Quickly’s! The place is relatively far from other asian malls, and took me quite a while to find. Once you go inside though, the place is HUGE, with lots of open space and seats, and a Crazy large menu on the wall. The folks who work there seem nice, and even though my simple drink took me a while, it did taste good. I also tried to get the spam musubi, which is on the«specials» section on the wall, so I thought this must be something customers request often. Turns out, it took them a LONG time to get the musubi out, and even then, when they gave it to me it was still wrapped in it’s original plastic wraps. Felt kind of odd. At least it was hot I guess Overall, a pretty ok Quicklys, especially since it’s hard to find bubble tea in the area!
