Pizza by the Chef

Heard great things about this place. Unfortunately didn’t live up to our better pizza places. Had a Thursday night special buffet. Priced right comes with salad that was mostly shredded carrots. The pizza crust was soggy and just was not up to what we consider great pizza. Took forever to get staff to explain ordering and phone rang off the wall for pickups. So Mgr. had his hands full taking in house orders and phone orders. The Italian sausage was very good. But nothing marked as far as what was in the Buffet. So you just guessed what you were getting. Maybe it was sitting on the buffet for who knows how long that was the problem. But Pizza World is still our favorite in Branson.

Very good pizza. They even have some of their specialty pizzas on the lunch buffet. This is a small place and a swithmall buffet but the time to get here.

Would be 5 star, but with immediate seating, the wait for a pizza, 45minutes is excessive and uncalled for… But the flavor and ingredients were top notch. I’d come back for sure… Just plan for the wait.

States they deliver, called for deliver and was told they do not deliver. If you want delivery call Papa Johns.

Big surprise. From the outside you would never guess how great the pizza is. The supreme had a salad’s worth of fresh sliced veggies, meats and cheese. The garlic cheese bread was great with a wonderful marinara sauce.

We had the garden pizza and was loaded with generously cut veggies — yum! The service was quick and friendly

Drove 13 hrs from corpus Christi, TX to Branson, MO today and we just wanted to relax with some pizza. Due to it being the last night of silver dollar city being open, they were swamped and it took 2 hours for delivery (were quite 1.5 hrs, but we were informed upon ordering) — when delivery guy arrived, he forgot our sodas and since we just checked in to hotel and it was kind of bad weather… We had nothing to drink and my kids had already waited patiently for 2 hrs! Anyway, delivery guy turned around and quickly got sodas to us… Was actually pretty impressive. We did the vacation sampler and tried 4 different types of pizzas… All delicious. Next time we’ll go into the restaurant and eat it fresh… I bet it’ll be even better!

Very good pizza. great flavor and served HOT! Small place, so be prepared to wait. 30 minute drive from The Strip, but worth it. As mentioned, they don’t bring you the check, so don’t wait for it.

The price seemed a bit high, so my husband went back in and was handed a detailed receipt. It was a bit awkward as the owner through a fit, saying to my husband, «You think we’d rip you off?» Awkward. He left and when I looked at the receipt they had charged us for a medium pizza instead of the small we had ordered and got.

For $ 25 I got a large cheese pizza and bleu cheese salad. The salad was good but not worth the price. I am gf so I did not try the pizza. My daughter said it was «ok» and my boyfriend was not impressed. I waited over an hour for a to go pizza. We won’t be back.

The pizza was awesome, the price was awesome and the guys running the place that night were awesome!
We stopped on the way back to our cabin after a fun filled day at Silver Dollar City and absolutely loved it. Our original plans were to pick up a small pizza for our two young kids and then stop by Subway and grab some subs for us. However after ordering the kids pizza and inhaling the delicious smells while we waited we decided to order a second pizza for ourselves.
The guys working that evening were on top of things and did a great job of making us feel welcome.
If we ever make it back down to Branson West we will definitely stop again.

To die for pizza! We had the lasagna, Olé, Greek, and Hercules and they were all awesome. The service was extremely slow though.

Great Salad and Pizza is real good, just not my style of pie. They load a sweet bread pizza crust with your choice of delicious fresh toppings. I ordered extra sauce, and if I hadn’t I may not have gotten any. I’m a sauce guy, and while this is not a saucy pizza, it is a great product. The Salad with the salami and the artichokes was delicioius. Wings were a little slimy and sauceless, but edible.
This is a small place that apparently was not ready to be busy the Sunday of Memorial Day, and the air conditioner must have been broken or non existent all together.
All in all we had a great time, and my wife would have given them 4 stars.
