Oooohhhhhhhhhh yeah. This is what being at the beach is about. Really big containers of freshly made popcorn for the cheap. See, the thing is, you can’t just go anywhere for caramel corn. Along this particular strip of boutiques and little«Shoppes» toting ice cream and salt water taffy, there are lots of places where you can get bags of caramel corn. To my dismay, though, most of these places give you caramel corn that’s cut into squares and stuffed in plastic bags, and sold totally expensive. And unfresh. Uncool! Knowing that there was variety around here, I didn’t stop at the first shoppe I saw, and went along down the strip until I happened upon Jordy’s. This teensy tiny hole-in-the wall may have had dim lights and less taffy selection than other places, but damn if they didn’t have awesome and fresh popcorn. The lady working there actually had just made it! We got fresh and warm caramel corn – and an ENORMOUS box AND bag of it for like $ 4. And it’s stayed good more than a week later! Yippee! Caramelly and chewy and sweet and noms! My sister especially appreciated the fact that I got her some cheese corn, which was also pretty awesome. Oh, and no weird cut-up squares. This shiz was preeeeemium! Yeah!
