Best Burgers on the Oregon Coast. Beef or seafood style. I tried the bacon cheeseburger as well as the salmon steak burger and both were real winners. Clam Chowder was also the best I had compared to most town’s chowders. Well seasoned, not overly thick. And try the tots. Theyre extra krispy and delicious. The owners and staff are plenty friendly too. Stop here when visiting the local lighthouse!

Been stopping by King Neptune’s Drive In off and on for a few years now and have to say, it is worth it every time! Best burgers, fries and service around! I recommend this place and will definitely keep coming back.

Burgers were hot and tasty. Fried mushrooms were great too.

My wife was disappointed in the seafood basket she got. She wanted some clam chowder and she received a tiny Styrofoam cup about the size of a chew can, 3oz cup. I ordered a cheeseburger and tots and it was really good! Go here for a good burger and tots. Owners are not overly friendly, but a pretty decent burger.

Asked a couple of locals where to get a good burger and they recommended King Neptune Drive In. We loved the food. I am not a burger person and I would go back for a burger at King Neptune in a heart beat. Love, love, loved it…

This is a local favorite and you will not be disappointed! The fish burgers are so amazing I have to get either cod or halibut every time I come and the French fries are ridiculously crispy and delicious, not to mention the milkshakes are worth the indulgence. Jeff and Debbie, the owners, are very nice people and really deserve your business.

By far the best burger in Winchester Bay/​Reedsport area hands down. They have just about everything one would imagine for a hamburger joint. Hamburger, cheese burger, bacon burger, chicken burger, chili burger, hot dogs fries, tots, curly fries, poppers, mozzarella sticks, chicken strips or nuggets. Fish, shrimp oysters clams calamari and salads. Super thick and delicious milk shakes of all sorts of flavors. Getting hungry thinking of it all. eat in or eat outside. Can call ahead to order and get it to go. Definitely one of my favorites.

King Neptune has the best burger in the Reedsport/​Winchester Bay area. They also make a great Halibut fish sandwich. Their food is fresh, hot, and just plain good. If you are in the mood for a basic burger or a real fish sandwich. this is your place

I have been going to this place since i was a kid !! Everything on the menu is very good !!! Excellent clam chowder, excellent burgers, excellent seafood !! The owners are the ones there everyday, so everthing is always done right !!! The quality is always consistant too !! The milkshakes are” to die for «!!!

Left a bad taste in my mouth. I have had better food at McDonalds. The hamburger taste like frozen cardboard. fish was like frozen ice cubes were not go there again

Doesn’t look like much on the outside and the drive up window is NOT a drive thru. I appreciate a good burger and this place didn’t disappoint. Until I can get back to In N Out this will be my go to burger place. The fries were crispy too.

If burgers and fries are your thing, this is a great stop. I stopped for fish and chips on my way home. Although the breading was thicker than my preference, it was not greasy or oily. The flavor was good, the fish was also good. Since I go a great settlement, I also ordered a butterscotch milkshake. Not on my diet, but oh so good.

It’s a must stop place when driving on 101. It’s right off 101 so really convenient. It has a drive-​up window, which is nice in the summer.
My favorite is to go with a group of friends, order burgers, tots, and milkshakes, then drive around the corner and eat on a park bench that overlooks Winchester Bay and all the fishing boats coming in and out.

I’m giving this joint four stars because it’s pretty close to perfection for it’s kind. Neptune’s (as the locals refer to it) is a mom and pop coastal diner. You can either order inside at the counter or at the walk-​up window. The menu is posted on the wall and it consists of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chili dogs and of course, a variety of fried seafood basket options. All baskets come with delicious fries and your choice of cocktail or tartar sauce.
We ordered a chili dog, a clam strip basket and a small chocolate milkshake. The chili dog was damn near perfect; it was served in a boat with a fork and a knife, and topped with onions and cheddar cheese. It took me right back to my childhood. The clam strips were as good as it gets in terms of fried chewy seafood. Nothing tasted overly fishy, and they were hot and crunchy! The milkshake hit the spot but to be honest, I’ve had much better. it sort of tasted like soft serve in a cup. They have some laminated cards on the tables full of trivia questions which was a nice way to keep ourselves distracted as we waited hungrily in the dining room after a long day at the beach.
Long story made short: I will absolutely return and upon my return I will order a burger and fries… I hear they’re the real deal.
