They are back and amazing! After a renovation of this great pizza hideaway the service is on point and the pizza is worth the walk, run or drive. The sauce is made from the best tomatoes, the cheese is of great quality and the dough is made with this special flour which makes it light and airy. The slices are thin and crispy and the sicilian pie is thick, light and airy. This place is giving Brooklyn pizza a run for their money! Come by and try a slice and stay for two.

Came here purely out of nostalgia. I remember when Alexandria’s was at its old 63rd Drive location and it was THE neighborhood pizza joint. School kids from PS139 and Russell Sage would eat here and the seating was large yet cozy. Now, it’s tucked away on a a side of Queens Blvd that receives much less foot traffic and probably caters much more to deliveries. I got two plain slices and they were solid. Good sauce, thin, hot and cheesy, boring crust, and nothing spectacular. The magic just isn’t there anymore. Maybe the tomato sauce could be more zesty? More thick? I hope the deliveries are strong because I can’t see myself coming back here at $ 2.50 a slice.

Pizza is good, with the right amount of cheese and they keep the slices thin. As for the garlic knots and rolls, I would skip out on those definitely because when I’ve ordered them in the past, they were stale and extremely hard, almost inedible. The place is really small too.

If/when you bring back the owners(the brothers) to cook again, I’ll bring this review to four stars. Ever since they left their original location on 63rd Drive(which is now a bank that’s always empty), they moved to Queens Blvd and the brothers are hands off. No offense to the guy who runs the place now, but this is not the Alexandria’s of old. There was the Big 3 in Rego Park: Tony’s, Alexandria’s, and Avellino’s. Try to guess which one has stayed true to itself. The pizza tastes like cardboard now… back then, great crust, cheese fell off the pizza(in a good way) when it was piping hot. I miss those days.

I recently ordered a large pie with garlic knots. This pizza was horrible, the dough was not crunchy it was thick and doughy and the garlic knots were way to hard to eat, it went straight to the trash. I won’t be ordering pizza from here anymore.

Every single time I’ve ordered from them there’s been some sort of problem. Great food but not worth the hassle.

Wow some of these reviews are a tad on the racist side. Anyway, as a lifelong Rego Parker I can say this is the best pizza in the hood. The owner, Nick, used to work at and was trained by the original owner/staff back when they used to be on 63rd Dr. The pasta dishes like baked ziti are great and Nick is super friendly. It’s a true neighborhood joint. I rarely eat in. Usually only have things delivered. Sometimes delivery can be really slow and you get a really young delivery guy, they tend to not be careful about your pizza cheese sliding to one side. But overall happy this place is in the neighborhood.

The first time I ordered from here, they had a summer special for a personal pizza, wings, and a soda for $ 8. What a deal! And it tasted terrific. I’d ordered through GrubHub on my phone, and they had to call me to tell me they were out of mozzerella sticks. I was fine with that; I only ordered them to meet the $ 10 delivery minimum, anyway. The second time I placed an order, I got a call saying business was slow and they’d closed early. I was disappointed, but not too upset. The food is great, and the staff is very friendly and laid-back. Alexandria’s loses one star from me because they always seem to be missing one thing or another, and also because the person on the phone is difficult to understand, but I will keep ordering from them, because YUM!

Loud Hispanic music, average slice, not filthy joint with minimal options(plain, Sicilian, BBQ chicken, Buffalo chicken), and friendly if not distracted service. Limited soda fridges, about 5 tables, seating capacity of about 14. I stopped here because I saw a parking spot and I’d never been here before. I wouldn’t extend myself beyond that in effort to come here, personally. If it was my closest pizza place I would utilize it out of convenience. No point to go out of my way though.

i ordered the special 20 $ for a large pizza, 2L soda plus 10 wings. i asked for the buffalo pizza but what arrived was a plain pizza, soda and wings. the delivery boy, when i pointed out i ordered the buffalo pizza, stammered” oh um we um are out of buffalo today.” first of all, they could have called to ask me if plain was alright, or to tell me there were«out of buffalo» second, how can they be «out of buffalo» if there are wings? so i called back and the dumb, me no speaking english spanish guy picks up and i told him the problem. his reaction? ohhhh nooo me… i i forgot today you know so busy is ok you taking plain? erm no i dont want it, its my first time trying this place and i want what i ordered is that okiees? i told him either forget about the whole order or send me a buffalo. he told me if i want another one ill have to wait a looong time please just a take the plain. it came in less than 15 minutes and i am so glad i didnt settle for plain. the pizza smelled greatttt when it arrived. it tasted great too but the chicken was a bit dry. huge and yummmy i would have given them 4 stars if not for the rude, unapologetic dumb jerk who was taking orders or the lying delivery boy. the wings, by the way were horrid. dry, burnt, old yechhh

Great owner and pizza maker. Typical NYC pizza but very tasty nonetheless. My gauge for a good pizza joint is the sausage roll or eppie roll… Alexandria’s comes very close to being one of the best. They don’t make it ahead of time so its always made to order. The buffalo chicken pizza is pretty awesome when u get tired of traditional toppings and want a little zing on your pie.

look, it’s simple, if i call for«a pie with no oil, two slices with no cheese, really light cheese on the rest of the pie and extra sauce all over» and you can deliver? then by golly i’m a fan.

Oh the pizza gods have heard my prayers! The space once occupied by Mangia Bene( ) has been taken over and now great pizza lives at Alexandria’s Pizza! The pizza is thinnnnn! Thinner than your typical NY slice, but in that style — just a little thicker than brick oven pizza(Nick’s, Vic’s, Federici’s, Vezzo, Patsy’s, Grimaldi’s). I was fortunate enough to get some slices from a fresh pie — ask if they have one available and I’m sure the guys will serve it up for ya! This is a small pizza«parlor» and since they’ve just taken over Mangia Bene, it’s the same inside… but it really doesn’t matter cause it’s the food that counts! They serve your standard Italian fare: pastas, chicken parm, not to mention wings! They also have specials which you can find on their menu for take out and delivery. They have Coke products as well as Snapple and beer. They also have great deals! A large pie, big baked ziti, half a roll of bread, 5 garlic knots, and a 2 liter of soda for $ 24! And unlike Domino’s, this is realllllll Italian food! What I wore to Alexandria’s: Skinny jeans, motorcycle boots, hoodie and t-shirt Open til 10 pm Sun – Thurs and til 11 Fri & Sat.
