Best local Chinese food delivery I have seen in NYC since I came here in 1986. Great food, clean kitchen, nice employees and fast delivery. You can’t beat the price abd quality. I have ordered from them for over ten years and never had a problem with them. I love their fried chicken.

Fast, fresh, accurate delivery. I’ve been ordering from them regularly for a few years now and have never been disappointed. I’ve ordered from them when we had company over and everyone likes their food. Their food is consistently good and service is great.

I just love this place. Very generous portions, awesome quality food and always quick service. The place is small and sometimes the tables are a little grimy, but I almost always get orders to do. The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 are the owners communication skills, they should say«How can I help you?» instead of «What you want?»

I ordered takeout for 1 Shrimp and Bean for roughly $ 10. At this price, I got a container full of beans with barely any shrimp. They skimped out on the shrimp completely. I counted about 10 pieces. When I called to complain, they had a attitude that I was wrong and that they put at least 25 pieces of shrimp in it. This was definitely not the case. So, they said come back next time to give me more shrimp with another order. Are you kidding me? As if I would pay for another order. I would not come back here again because of the way they do business. To make matters worse, the beans were not fresh, hard, and not cooked properly. I had to dispose most of the contents in the container in the trash. What I paid and for what I got was a rip off.

I tried to order my take out from them. The woman who claimed she’s the manager gave me an attitude after I told her I’m pregnant. I told her please prep my food carefully because I’m pregnant she said you are asking too much, why don’t you cook at home or order from other place, then she hung up on me. If I could cook I would. Pissed me off. Will never order from you guys ever. Sucky service and dirty restaurant.

Looks pretty clean and service is pretty friendly. Seems to be a family-run restaurant. On the same block as the flower shop, and basically right next to it. I’ve stopped here a few times to buy dumplings(on the small size, but not insanely thick in the coverings). Good size, and haven’t found anything gross, NOR is the food greasy. Alright food!

Since this is the nearest Chinese fast food. I had fired rice with brown sauce beef. They got«A» grade! Affordable price and good taste.

I give this place a one star and won’t be returning. The fried baby shrimps were canned shrimps(very tiny) and way to much breaded.

Hot & sour soup is my litmus test for American Chinese restaurants. Rego Garden gets 5 stars for that! Everything else is very good — nothing stellar that jumps out but when you want mu shu, General Tso’s, egg rolls, and things like that, this is the place. They are cash-only(or were as of a month or so ago) and the storefront itself isn’t much to speak of. But get take out. For lunch. Today.

Horrible experience!!! Food was poor quality, they do not provide utensils to eat the food with, ordered a soda and they forgot it and the delivery man refused to make a double trip. One word: GARBAGE!!!

Place has fallen off as far I’m concerned. I try to give this place business to keep the competition honest with pricing, but they’ve failed me the last 2 times. My latest problem is that my sesame chicken tasted and smelled like old fish. Maybe they’re using overusing the same cooking grease/oil? Maybe they should separate oil used to fry fish from oil used to fry chicken? Maybe it’s a hint that I should stop eating fried food? Either way, I’m done with this place.

I was really disappointed with the food here. Had the chicken and broccoli; sauce was extremely thin. Portion was small. Egg drop soup was also sub par. Yes, it’s cheap, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. But I’ll definitely be going elsewhere for my Chinese take out from now on.

For what it is(American Chinese fast food) this is the best in the area. Their food is always fresh and they seem to cook with more care and less random greasy sauces compared to the other similar restaurants in the area. A couple of my favorites are their chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce and their jumbo fried shrimp. Of course both are nicely paired with their delicious pork fried rice. At times it can be a tad salty, even with my salt loving palette, but generally it’s pretty on point. The good food is topped with quick delivery times. The food generally arrives within 15 – 20 minutes. I don’t generally promote greasy fast food but once in a while I have to feed my guilty pleasure and Rego Garden is always my go to.

One of the better/healthier tasting chinese fast food takeout places. Great food and nice staff. The amount of meat in each dish could be bigger but the taste is pretty good and quick with delivery.

Me and my friends usually go here afterschool to eat Chinese food. I often chose this place over the other as it is as clean and good as it gets. Also the restaurant owners are nice to me and my friends every time we come.

Five stars, why? Care, pride and freshness in cooking, absolute spotlessness in kitchen and dining area, generous portions, young, receptive staff with amenities. Most important: about meal preparation, they use only 100% vegetable oil. The meals taste real pure. Can you believe though, the prices are below average ? This is particularly true for lunch specials. For Chinese, I wouldn’t go anywhere else around the immediate area.

This place is a disaster! Their food is typical greasy spoon American Chinese food. The inside is pretty nasty and dirty. They do have somewhat cheap prices and large servings. However, The last time we ordered a delivery order from them, they took them over 40 minutes to call my cell phone to incorrectly tell me that they were here, and after I told them the correct address, they said they were here and to wait outside for them. I went outside and waited for over 5 minutes and they still did not show up so I went back inside. They finally show up and called my phone and told me to go outside, only with attitude this time. I was pretty angry, so I reserved my right not to tip the rude delivery guy. After handing him the cash he turns around and DEMANDED a tip and said asked«do you want us to deliver again?» In Rego Park, where there is an abundance of average greasy America Chinese take out places, Rego Garden is definitely the worse one we’ve had. Other places have bigger menus, better food, and superior service like East Meets West or Dumpling Café in Forest Hills.
