Got great fruit today. Ajummah is still not friendly. In fact, now there are two surly Ajummah!
Doesn’t matter though, fruit was top notch.

Good prices for produce but you really have to pay attention at the register. The Korean owner will try to pull a fast one and charge you the indoor price.

This place doesn’t compare to my United Brother’s fruit store in Astoria, but this is a suitable substitute fruit store near my place. I will say that they tend to have a couple of more exotic fruit which is nice. I believe they are open until 10pm which is very accommodating for us late workers.
Cheap Buyer Tips: All the fruit out front and on the side are cheaper than the veggies and fruit inside. So look there first than wonder inside.
Who said it was expensive to be healthy!!!

i come here every now and then to pickup fresh fruits and veggies. Everything is so much cheaper and fresher than Met, Key Food and the guy who has a fruit cart across from Tasty and Co. I really like supporting the workers here, who are hard-​working and efficient.

Love this place as it reminds me of growing up in Jersey! A wide selection of really beautiful fruits and vegetables — a number of which are difficult to find in the area. Great prices too!
Fruits and vegetables are displayed around the outside of the store as well as in the air condition inside. They also sell a good deal of ethnic and imported foods — dressings, breads, candy. Large beverage section.
Handicapped accessible, but a bit difficult to get around even with a «grandma cart».
