Their sushi is delicious as specially the dragon roll. They were very friendly and very quick with their delivery time.

Hands down the worst delivery service I’ve ever experienced. Waited 3 hours for my food. Requested update 2 times via the app and was informed both times that it was«out for delivery». After its been«out for delivery» for over an hour, I finally had to call the restaurant because it was almost our bed time. The person who answered the phone acted like it was nothing and just said«oh we were busy but it’s on the way. just wait.» I honestly don’t know what was more upsetting, the fact that they lied about the food being«out for deliver», that I waited 3 hours for my food or the attitude I got from the guy who answered the phone.

Dangerous. I got food poisoning. Nice people. Terrible sushi smelled bad but I thought I imagined it. What could be bad in California roll. I never saw such small rolls. Even the supermarket is better. Also there was a weird smell and taste. Which came up on us all night. What could be weird in California roll. Almost threw up when we left. I ate it to be polite. Stupid. I took 2 Zantac and mint charms and crème De mint liqueur. Couldn’t get it out of my system. Next day still sick diarrhea. Vomiting. Bad. Bad bad

Real good sushi! Delivery service was quick(within 20 mins of order). Liked there Salmon Teriyaki Combo Box(though little more teriyaki sauce would have made it even better) and Spicy Tuna Crunchy Roll!

I love this small sushi restaurant right in Rego Park! When my boyfriend and I don’t feel like splurging a little more on diining but still want sushi/sashimi, this is our go to spot because it’s right in our neighborhood. A sushi boat — quantity sashimi order only runs you around $ 20(sometimes less) and it comes with soup and salad as well. Since the restaurant is pretty small, the staff are attentive and your order also comes fast. While I can’t say that it’s the freshest or best sushi I’ve ever had, it is definitely decent for it’s price. I haven’t had any bad experiences with the service or food in the three to four times I’ve been there. Recommended for one of those Netflix and chill nights. For date night? Maybe not.

I work nearby and came here for the very first time just the other day. I really liked this place but it is super small and the portion I got was even more ridiculously small. When you first walk in, there’s a faint unpleasant odor, but it might be the fresh fish and seafood with the lack of ventilation. It wasn’t strong enough to bother me and didn’t linger too long. I got the salmon teriyaki platter, which comes with miso soup, salad, rice, and a California roll that I swapped out for a spicy tuna roll. My food was ready in under 10 minutes and the staff was so nice and friendly. The sushi and the salmon teriyaki were extremely fresh and well made and I enjoyed them very much. I just wish there was more of them to enjoy. The sushi roll was a standard 6-piece, so that was fine, but the salmon portion was not bigger than my palm. I don’t eat the rice so that probably didn’t help in how hungry I still was when I finished eating and left. I also thought the miso soup could have used some more salt, but overall not bad and probably better for everyone’s health. So would I recommend? Yes! Would I come back to sit down and eat? Probably not, because I would want to order 2 platters for myself without being judged. The trick might be just to order the deluxe box instead!

Ordered a delivery during lunch time and it only took them 20 minutes to deliver at my door. The portion is generous. Price is unbeatable given the quantity and quality. I had a great experience and will definitely order again.

Sadly, for their delivery, they are fast but the sushi I received that night was bad. The color of the sashimi(tuna, yellow tail, salmon) were indiscernable.

This place is one of the best places I get sushi. I usually always get delivery and there really fast there’s times that they had delivered in 10 min. Which I found super fast

When the munchies grabbed ahold of us late one night, we desperately scoured Unilocal, looking for a place to grab a bite. It seemed like this place was the only one in the area that was open but when my fiancé saw the lone dollar sign next to the accompanied ‘sushi bar’ label, he was wary. «Um…cheap sushi usually means bad sushi,» he warned, already looking for other alternatives. Unfortunately, everything else was closed and fatal hunger eventually overtook suspicion. We’re so glad it did. Two blocks off of the busy Queens Boulevard, Sushi 33 sits tucked away on a quieter street. Its diminutive size(there are about six tables in the small space, tops) and bare décor make it all the more unassuming, but they rock those low prices like no other sushi joint I’ve ever seen. We ordered solely from their roll menu, none of which were more than $ 3.75, but our eyes widened as we perused the other pages, especially the tempura platters and sushi combos, which were also decently priced. Special rolls like spider rolls and others with fun names like Heart Attack(soft shell crab, spicy tuna, and avocado on the inside; spicy salmon, spicy mayo, and eel sauce on the outside) are understandably a little more expensive, but still very reasonable. Sushi and sashimi a la carte items are sold by the piece, and each are only a dollar. We ordered a mango salmon roll, sweet potato rolls, and something called the A.A.C roll, which had asparagus, avocado, and cucumber. We liked all three and particularly loved the sweet potato roll, which says that it’s precooked on the menu but seemed surprisingly warm when we chowed down. Some of the pieces seemed more tempera than sweet potato, but for $ 3.25, I was happy. The service was prompt, friendly, and it was nice to be able to see the chef freshly preparing our rolls right at the sushi bar. Best of all, we were able to enjoy a decent sushi meal for two for around $ 13, which I consider an amazing deal. The restaurant seemed clean and the ingredients fresh. I’m terribly glad we have a place like this in the neighborhood, and because it’s open until 11 at night, we’ll be sure to come by again when the late night tummy rumbles strike again. Added plus: the full menu and online ordering for deliveries are available online at ($ 10 minimum for free deliveries)

Ok place. Food is mediocre. Platter is not crazy. But service is fine. Small and homey.

I love this place, its a bit small but feels homey. The service is great, I eat here atleast twice a week. The sushi isn’t expensive, delivery arrives on time(15 – 30 min) and they have a large selection of sushi to choose from. I recommend the alaska roll, dragon roll and chicken teriaki, which comes with salad and a california roll.

This place is hidden gem. Literally, its little hard to find being in the cornor, but dont let that stop you. I mostly order out from here. Prices are very reasonable. Sushi is fresh and flavorful. I am a spicy tuna roll kinda gal so thats my favorite. They have lot of other specality rolls which agian great price and most of all flavor. I also have to recomend their bento box. Sato will always have my vote with their terrakyi, but Sushi 33 comes in second. I think its only $ 7 or 8 $ at most, but so good. Service here is nice and quick. Its a fairly small place, I think they have 4 tables at most. Most of their business comes from take out. All in all great sushi and food options. What more could you want.

I was so happy to find a cheap yet delish sushi place! I’ve dined and done take out, and the service was prompt. Staff was polite and didn’t hover over us, considering that the place is small. For take out they gave me extra wasabi and soy sauce without giving me a dirty look haha. The sushi combos range from $ 7 to $ 16, which is a steal compared to other places. The lunch specials are even more affordable with a variety of options! This will be my spot for all sushi cravings!

I have been going here for years, and they are by far the best Japanese restaurant in Rego Park. Food is fresh, prices are great, and most important excellent customer service! Highly recommend it!

Please do not come here! Even the price is a tag cheaper, the sushi are all wrong! Eel avocado roll with Hoi sin sauce instead of eel sauce?!? WTH?!? Using rice instead of salmon to stuff up a regular roll? You guys are way too cheap! The rice are too hard and feels like you are eating Chinese take out rice! I rather pay a penny more and go around the corner to Sake sushi!
