I was pleased to hear that they would be serving the pad Thai from the former/closed Port. I loved the pad Thai there & would crave it. I ordered it from here & it has a completely different flavor. It did not taste fresh. The noodles obviously had been sitting a while & were lumped & stuck together. Had I not read that it was Port’s pad Thai I would have never guessed it was.

We go to hear Lower Case Blues play on Thursday nights. Fantastic band, great night. wonderful bartenders and wait staff. Nachos are great, pick and choose and it’s great. Unbelievable value. Pinot Grigio by the glass is such a deal… and good. Go on Thursdays!

Nothing special and overpriced for what it is. We are not«drinkers» so I can’t comment on that part but the food was less than expected.

If your nursing home lets you out without an escort or you have insurance that will pay for your hip replacement then this is probably the place for you. At 6pm on a Friday night every grandma with a walker is hitting this dance floor and the golden oldie music is thumping. The music was so golden I was waiting for Richard Simmons to show up. Complete with any group of old people dancing they even had a creepy guy taking awkward photos of the two women trying the latest of dance moves, only it was the creepy DJ doing the picture taking. The staff raved about the infused vodkas so we gave them a try. It’s nothing more than vodka mixed with juice. It was ok if you like weak overpriced drinks. I don’t so I got a beer. The food was okay. Both the wife and I got steaks and baked potatoes. It was all fresh and tasted good but it wasn’t without issues. We ordered medium done steaks and they were cooked too long. No redness and the juices were cooked out of it. It was served with steak sauce already on it so tell them if you don’t want it. My son ordered a well done burger and it was burnt to a crisp, but he likes it that way. The burger bun was way too thick and dry for a dry burger so I’m glad I didn’t get it. The menu isn’t very descriptive. The applesauce had cinnamon on it, we sent it back because my son won’t eat cinnamon. Everything had a chance to be excellent if they paid more attention to detail. For an $ 80 plus tip meal I’d expect better.

Horrible bland bar food. It wasn’t that late in my mind for a Thursday before labor day, but i guess 9pm already grants you late night dining menu only. Alas all you can find are Quesadillas lacking ANNNY flavor or enthusiasm. Literally some crumbled chicken and cheese, not sure where the grilled onions were. Nachos with a really gross and gritty«bechamel» sauce(was that supposed to be a white cheddar«sauce»??). and thai chili wings that were good. probably the only thing i would recommend ever anyone ordering. I guess you can’t mess up deep fried chicken coated in sweet chili dip right? The awfulness of this gritty Bechamel sauce was over powered by the barely pink colored tomatoes«pico de gallo» that was served with the quesadilla and nachos, still had the audacity to taste rotted and spoiled! I mean come on. It’s prime season for Delawares freshest corn and tomato and other goodies and you can’t even find a tomato that tastes fresh? Salad had a few slimy tomatos and red onions in there too. ugh Thank god for the Lower Case Blues. They were worth staying, despite suffering through meal. WIsh i had caught them elsewhere in town

FINALLY, I find my great burger with a cold beer(why oh why is this so hard to find, especially under 20 dollars???). Ashley and Taylor were on point and lots of fun. My medium burger was cooked fine, and the ladies provided wonderful service. The only, only problem I have with DDC is that I would like it to simply smell as if it had been cleaned more recently.

We were very disappointed with the restaurant and service we received. We sat at the bar for happy hour but we could have sat in the main dining room because there was no one in the restaurant. After sitting down and ordering our apps, we waited a good amount of time until we ordered our entrees(we do this on purpose). Not even 5 minutes after receiving the apps our main entrees come out. The waitress came and when we told her of the situation she did not really care and ran off only to come back with the bill later on. The restaurants manager came over and heard us out and talk to his staff but instead of trying to comp the apps that we didn’t get to eat he offered a free dessert… My suggestion is to not go here as we will never be back(and we own a house in Rehoboth). The food is disappointing and mediocre, better off going into town and waiting for a quality restaurant.

This place is a great find! The menu was nice and small — not overwhelming and everything looked delicious. We started with the Asian Cheesesteak Rolls which were fantastic. I ordered the crab cakes — all crab and no filler — they were wonderful. My husband ordered the Hogzilla Pork Shank and loved it — it was huge and he ate every bite. Service was great — the waiter was around but didn’t hover. The atmosphere was good — seemed very local and chill. The band started playing while we were there and they sounded great. This will definitely be our go-to when we come to the beach.

This was a very cool place. The distiller came out and we chat for a good 20 minutes. I really enjoyed our conversation. The menu has something for everyone and the food was great. If I revisit rehoboth I will come here again.

Food was alright, staff was friendly. Might go back if friends want to go, otherwise this isn’t on the top of my list of places to eat.

FANTABULOUSPLACE. We went on Thursday, 5⁄21 so we had a bonus of seeing«Lower Case Blues». Three of THE best musicians you will ever see. Great bartender, Michelle. She was very personable and kept everyone’s glass at the bar filled. They have all the usual booze and they distill their own. A great variety of flavored for sure. We hit the Happy Hour. The HH food menu is outstanding. I can vouch for the drunken mussels(the best I’ve had in a long time), the Thai wings and the snow crab legs. All were very good. We(my wife & I) highly recommend DDC to anyone looking for a friendly, awesome bar/restaurant.

$ 6 up charge for chicken on the nachos but only $ 5 for shrimp or crab or $ 7 for both. Drinks are good. The menu is impressive. The management is obviously out of touch with reality.

i think they are very very generous with their portions and the food is very delicious. The food come out fairly quickly(But maybe we were early for dinner and not that many people were there yet). The food was SERIOUSLY delicious. I had the crab louie salad and that was HUUGE and very good. After that I had the«Wasabi Tuna». This combo WILL. NOT. DISSAPOINT. You and I can promise you this. The tuna was sooooo good and the plate was very filling. I cant wait to go again.

Last time I was here(my first time ever) I would have given this place 5 stars. Great bartender, great menu, reasonable prices, great house vodkas. This time, the experience alone was less than one star. Our waitress seemed annoyed to have a table — she brought me the wrong salad(Caesar isn’t hard to mess up, is it?!) and didn’t notice until I pointed it out. The drunken mussels were tiny, barely room temp, and disgustingly buttery. I had to blot the butter off of each one before I ate it. My boyfriend got the chicken and hot cakes which he loved. The band playing was decent but the volume of their speakers was entirely too loud for such a small bar area. I found my self having to read the lips of my friend who was sitting right across from me because I couldn’t hear what he was saying over the loud music. The male bartender appeared drunk, was alternating between behind the bar and out with the bar patrons doing shots and demanding bud lights from the other bartenders. I watched customer after customer leave the bar after the band started — take the hint DDC! People that are sitting at a bar are there to socialize and chat with friends, not lose their voices screaming over the music.

Decided after driving by this place so many times, to try it out. Walked into a poorly lit restaurant with 2 small windows. It was very hard to read the menu in the dark. The infused vodkas were great. I tried the Strawberry basil, and mixed berry. The menu looked very average. Mostly bar food and burgers. I tried the chicken and waffles.(It was our brunch) The waffles looked like some sort of micro waved waffle and tasted like it too. The chicken strips(I’m from the South, so chicken strips on waffles is not right) The strips were breaded in cereal and were already cut open to ensure that they were fully cooked. I feel that if you can’t cook a chicken strip without dissecting it to see if it’s done, then I’m afraid of what else you are trying to cook. As much as we loved the liquor, the food was so bad that we probably won’t return.

Great facility with average food. I tried it initially when Zach first had the place and it was awful, now it’s average. Tried an array of appetizers and the hot food was just warm. Cheese came when specifically asked for none. Service was pretty slow but the saving grace was the stick of infused spirits we closed the meal with. Much better food options in Rehoboth or Lewes in my mind.

Great place. Pet peeve– when I paid the guy didn’t immediately hand back credit card. Also we asked for more bread(which is great stuff) and it never came! All that said, the food was pretty good. Fries not do much but bison steak was delicious. Also got tomatoes and mozzarella salad and nacho plate. Salad had too much vinegar. Place has good vibe.

I really wante to like this place, it has all the right pieces in the formula, but… I went with a party of 8, several of us ordered burgers, all of them were over cooked. I mean not a little bit overcooked, but very overcooked. I ordered medium and it was well done. The ambiance inside was weird, the place is huge, but dimly lit. And when I say the buns were burnt, they tasted of straight carbon. I’m not one to complain, so I sat and ate my burger, but when one of the other people in my party complained they were given attitude by the waiter. There was good news though: everyone who had a drink thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried a gin and tonic made with cucumber infused gin, and it was served with a copper straw.
