Love this place! Food is fresh & delicious, very authentic! Service is excellent. We had Katie and she was wonderful and very nice to talk to. This was our 2nd visit and we’ll definitely be back!

Awesome Mexican! Bottom line. Seafood enchiladas were delicious, my husband has the chicken, shrimp fajitas– they were amazing. Nachos were homemade. Service was great too!

The freshly squeezed lime margaritas made by Yolanda are five stars — without doubt! The chips and salsa are also top notch. I haven’t tried the full menu yet, but so far everything I have had has been very, very good — and I particularly like their chicken burrito platter. I’ve started to get a regular server, Patrick who is a charm.

We go here every time we are at the beach. Overall the food is good but the ambience and service make it great. The cream of crab soup is incredible(I know what you’re thinking — trust me). The outside patio seating makes the margaritas taste better.

I cannot find the words to describe what a heart warming experience a group of girlfriends and I had at this restaurant tonight. At a near by table, a commotion started and we quickly realized there was a medical emergency with an older woman at the table. The entire restaurant respectfully became silent as EMS was called and the woman was made comfortable. The woman became stable and the family was in control of the situation the entire time. The most heart warming part was the attention and care the owner of this establishment-Yolanda, took with the family during this emergency. She never left the family’s table and was helping the EMS with their needs. The EMS was able to take the woman to the hospital for further care and she appeared to be doing well, to all of our delight. Yolanda made certain to take care of the bill for the large family’s meal and made sure to ask the family to call and inform her how the woman was doing tomorrow. She wasn’t just being a «host»… you could tell she genuinely cared and that made it all the more comforting for the family. More people like Yolanda are needed in the world and we are thankful that the woman is going to make a full recovery and that we were blessed to witness the true kindness and love from one stranger to another. Our experience at this restaurant was not only amazing because of the above, but the food and energy from the entire staff solidified the fact that we WILL be back.

Firstly, I’d like to point out that the owners are Salvadoran. This lead me to try their pupusas which were great!($ 6.99) The fajitas looked alright. There was very few veggies if you compare them to other mexican restaurants like the ones near Mexico in California. Mostly onion and then some red and green bell peppers. The house margarita was pretty good and the service was fast. The actual restaurant itself seemed a little dated and my clean plate looked oily and had finger smuges BUT besides that everything was great.

3.5STARS to be exact. We had a party of 8 for a mid week lunch and it was dead in there. Our server seemed a little slow considering there really wasn’t anyone else to serve. Everyone I was with seemed happy with their food but I was definitely disappointed in there mixed green salad which was actually a cup of shredded Iceberg lettuce lol. I guess I had it coming for ordering a salad at a Mexican restaurant but still!

So so service, so so Mexican. I always torture myself as a Texan trying TexMex outside of Texas, it never turns out well.

It’s difficult to critique an establishment that employs an admirable amount of young adults but truth be told, let’s begin. We chose them specifically because they have outdoor patio seating snd we were able to make a reservation for eight. Upon arrival the hostess came running up to us like a Speedy Gonzalez, from who knows where next door. With an impish smile she informed us that our table would be another twenty minutes and, btw, «we don’t take reservations for outdoors. She then suggested we take a seat at the bar to make things easier for her. After a pitcher of margaritas and a couple cervezas, it was pointed out that our table was ready. With no offer of water on this hot muggy night, our apps and drinks were ordered. Quicker than expected, our apps arrived, still with no offer of water, and with no plates. I don’t want to invest anymore time thinking or talking about this place so I’ll simply say it’s decent, touristy-quality food in a crowded, touristy dining room at fair touristy prices.

This place turned out to be perfect for date night. My boyfriend and I went around 8pm and were seated outside immediately(try to get a seat outside when the weather is nice, as the inside did seem like it could get noisy with small children). We ordered the Paella de Mariscos and the Lomo saltado… both were delicious and big portions. We also had great mango mojitos that we could tell were made with fresh ingredients and the fried ice cream for dessert. We were so full at the end that ordering just one ice cream was more than enough. It is a bit expensive for a young couple(the total came close to $ 100 for just the two of us) but the food and service made the price worth it. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. It was overall a great experience and we will definitely come back when we crave Spanish cuisine.

The service was mediocre. Took a while to refill drinks, which had minimal alcohol. The chips were stale. However, the tacos & humus were okay and the upstairs has a nice view of the area. I was really expecting this place to be better unfortunately.

Really enjoyed! Fantastic food — We had queso fundido con cherizo as an appetizer. For our meal I had flank steak, the kids had quesadillas and my wife had a salad. All was great. The service was really superior — very attentive and our entres came right as we were finishing the appetizer.

Read all the reviews prior to actually eating there. Funny thing is the good reviews were all top notch, and yet, the majority of the bad reviews complained about bad service. We arrived at 6:20, when our reservation was for 6:00. The place was starting to fill, but we were seated right away and Fernando immediately took our drink orders. Within five minutes he came back and took our dinner orders. In less than ten minutes our orders arrived, hot and ready to eat. The food was good and plentiful. I don’t really under the preponderance of bad reviews and vicious complaints regarding service. We were treated with respect, admiration and a seemingly genuine concern for our patronage. We spent over $ 100.00 that night and have no real complaints. Service: very good Food: quality, appearance and taste good Overall: B Would recommend: yes

Where’s the mariachi band? For some reason I’m thinking of Antonio Banderas playing the guitar and coming out with 2 guns blasting when I hear the word mariachi. I watch too many movies apparently. Anyways on to the restaurant. We went during Memorial Day weekend with 2 kids and another couple with 2 young kids. We made it work! Can’t stop us from hanging outside and sipping margaritas! Really nice looking restaurant with two floors. We sat outside on the second level on a sort of balcony/terrace which was nice. Something about eating outdoors that I love. So not everything we ordered was great but I’ll just review my dish since that’s all I ate. I had the carne asada which was tender and had great flavor. The margaritas were pretty delicious too but not sure if it’s because I’ve had a long day with the kids. The restaurant’s décor is typical Mexican style. The outside is pink which doesn’t appeal to me personally but doesn’t bother me either. Great change of pace beach restaurant! The Good: — food was good depending on what you get. Carne asada was great, my friend said her lomo saltado was dry. — margaritas on point! — great second floor outdoor seating — prob good for wedding receptions — great service The Bad: — pink lots of pink décor — no mariachi band or Antonio Banderas

This is one of our favorites restaurants in Rehoboth! Authentic meals that are home-cooked. The service is the absolute best in Rehoboth. Most of the staff have been there for years and recognize us when we come.(and we only get to go twice maybe three times a year when we are on vacation). We love their Sunday brunch. Drink menu is awesome(coconut mojito or jalapeño margarita). Large portions and reasonably priced. I can’t wait to go back! See you in August

Great Mexican/Spanish place located only about 80 yards from the boardwalk. This is the third time I have been here and am finally writing a review. I have never been disappointed with the food here. Always flavorful, always hot, and the prices are reasonable for the area. Atmosphere is casual and noise level is average. They have a spacious dining area on the first and second floors, with outdoor deck seating on the second floor as well. I will say the deck area needs a little face-lift work(broken/missing party lights over head and such), but nothing too severe. The location is close enough to be ‘in the action’ and accessible from the beach, however, it’s tucked away down on Wilmington Ave and can be missed if you aren’t looking for it. My only gripe, albeit a small one, is the lack of music(and we were on the deck for Cinco De Mayo). Sure it’s not a big deal, but it would’ve really nice to have something heard overhead. Pretty much all we head was the laughter of 2 other tables and a loud delivery truck backing down the street. All in all, great place for the money. Will be going back.

What I really enjoy about Rehoboth is the close proximity from the beach to your hotel as well as restaurants and other shopping. As a result, we were able to crawl out of the ocean and have a nice pleasant lunch at a sit down restaurant without leaving our blankets unattended for too long. Prices for lunch/brunch were good. 2 plates of huervos rancheros and tip came to about $ 20. Open air seating upstairs is a nice touch for people watching as well. Service was quick, pleasant and I had enough left over that I could go back to my hotel room, pop it in the fridge and had breakfast the next day. A good choice with decent, authentic Mexican flavor.

This local restaurant was highly recommended by our housemates, who’ve been going here for years. The first recommendation — try to get seated upstairs on the deck. It’s really a lovely place to sit, and with the fans going and the breeze off the ocean it’s pretty nice! Our server was dealing with a couple of large groups as this was the start of dinner rush, but he never faltered in his smile or charm. The ice tea stayed filled. We split the plantains, which we really liked. And, to my surprise — they have a very clear gluten free menu with many excellent options. So, I had the Carne Asada(steak with guacamole), which includes yellow rice and black beans as sides. Very large and certainly filling. It was tender, and cooked the way I like it — just barely medium rare. The husbear had the Poc Chuc Yuacateco, which is a marinated pork dish. It was not what he expected but very good and he gave it high praise for flavor and presentation. Neither of us had any liquor, as I was driving home and he was meeting friends out. The bill was very reasonable, and especially so considering it’s a resort town at high season. It was about what we’d expect to pay at home for very good fare. As much as we like the other two restaurants in town that server similar cuisine, we have to give this place the nod for Norteno Mexican cuisine(absolutely not Tex Mex). This is well suited to families and large groups. However, if you have a screaming baby — please take your child outside. That’s just being courteous wherever you are. Parking is still tight and you’ll need the Parkmobile pay app to use the meters unless you like carry rolls of quarters. This is in zone 88133. and at the end of a dead end street by the Penny Lane Arcade.
