Absolutely brutal. Amy was the girl at the counter. She was condescending, rude and did not like to see me coming. If I owned this business I would very disappointed in her attitude and service. One star is one too many.

I give them two stars for filling a niche by having specialty parts not available elsewhere. The fact that they are overpriced doesn’t bother me. Consumers must recognize stores that fill such niches and not allow corporate giants(& the Internet) to put them out of business. I’ll gladly spend a few $ extra on batteries or another product available elsewhere, in exchange for the convenience of being able to quickly buy many items that simply aren’t available anywhere else in Rehoboth. The third star is for having a clean, well-organized store with products properly merchandised and priced. Their selection is decent, for what they are. They get ZERO out of the remaining two stars as it relates to customer service and knowledge. To put it NICELY, the staff are rude and dumb. I’m sure there are exceptions to this, and there might possibly be someone working there that knows more than the average person. There are at least two employees that will blatantly lie to customers about not having products, just so they don’t have to get up. I’ve overheard them fabricate all sorts of nonsense on numerous occasions. There was a time when I could go into this store and gain general knowledge from the staff about their products, and in general. The employees now don’t have a clue about their existing products, nor about technology in general. They know just enough to recommend an overpriced product to an uneducated consumer, at best. No need to detail my comment about them being rude and having poor customer service skills. I have nothing against this store, or anyone there. It saddens me that they’re going out of business, but doesn’t surprise me.

Mr X. and I were on vacation in Rehobeth Beach, DE when we decided to visit the Spirit Halloween store next to the desolate Rehobeth Mall— really desolate. I mean like the it-has-two-stores-left-kind-of-desolate. Eerie feeling. Anyway, Mr. X wanted a pair of ear buds, so we walked over to the Radio Shack. Lo and behold, they had just gotten a shipment of new iPhones, and since Mr. X was still plugging away with his severely outdated 4S, he decided to go for a new 6. The staff here was so FRIENDLY and HELPFUL and CARING and PATIENT. We were so blown away, just great customer service from start to finish, and as you know buying a phone takes as long as buying a car today. Anyway, everything went very smoothly thanks to the girl that helped us(forgive me but I don’t recall her name right off but she did give me an awesome chicken and dumplings recipe!) and her co worker, who were just delightful folks. Five stars to you Rehobeth Mall Radio Shack! Thanks a million for making our rainy vacation worth the drive! P. S. «Jame F.» can suck it.

The employees are not knowledgeable nor are they helpful. When I called asking for a particular cable… I gave the precise name of the cable and what it does… the associate told me «we have an entire wall of cables and you can come down and look for yourself» to which I replied…“I am calling you to see if you have what I’m looking for so I don’t waste a trip to your store”. She started arguing with me, treating me as if I am the moron, when in fact, she is the moron. I asked her if she knew what I was looking for and she said«yes», but I’d have to come and look for myself. After about 3 minutes of her being very rude and condescending with me I finally hung up the phone. I called back a few minutes later and spoke to a guy who wasn’t very much help either. POOR customer service and BAD manners! If you want something… you’ll just have to go in person to see if the store has it because the associates who work there clearly don’t know anything about cables or electronics and they treat the customer like horse dung.
