This is a staple for us when we are in Rehoboth. The staff is kind and helpful. The food is always good, with consistent quality over the years. They also have Greek favorites on menu and additional Greek items from time to time. Finally, it is affordable. Don’t miss it!

I was staying in the area over the weekend. I decided to check out this place Sunday morning for breakfast. It looked sort of diner-ish; lots of seating. I ordered an apple juice and a Greek omelet; which had tomatoes and not the more common spinach. The tomato was off putting and I didn’t finish the omelet. Their home fries weren’t cooked all the way and just bland, which I didn’t finish either. Since I was still hungry I ordered a slice of scrapple; it was cook perfectly. I should of known something on the main street of Rehoboth was going to be «watered down» touristy. There was a place called Crystal Restaurant as you were coming into town I should have tried. The local places are usually the better places to eat; yummier food, cheaper cost.

Normal portions, great prices only a block from the beach? Yes, please! My favorite is Eggs Benedict! A side of bacon can be had, but the strips are thin. Still worth getting. Friendly staff, unpretentious.

We stop at Robin Hood for breakfast occasionally on our visits to the beach. The other night I brought my grumpy 8 year old in for dinner right before closing and they were extremely gracious. The food is always good, not extraordinary, but extra points for being a regular diner amidst all the fine dining and beach joints.

What were people looking for when they write a 1 star review about the breakfast food? There’s no frittatas with crème fraîche or quail eggs benedict with white truffle Hollandaise(though they do have a standard EB on the menu)…sorry folks. And I’ve been eating breakfast for my entire life and Kraft has made jellies since before most of us were born… anyways the food is typical, filling, and hot diner type fare. That’s just fine with me. It’s a dated place… about a step up from a hole in the wall. But it is always busy for breakfast… usually with a wait for a table. Hundreds of people can’t be wrong right? So I tried it and I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered the 3 egg platter w/scrapple. Now, I will spare the description of what scrapple is but let’s just say if you like scrapple… order it! If not, or you’ve never tried it, please don’t. It’s traditional to say the least… haha. The food came out hot… eggs fluffy, toast buttered, and good portion. Honestly, what more can you ask for? Service was a little slow but it was very busy… took me 10 min for a water… but the coffee came out the moment I sat down. 4 stars is the best I can give because of the dated and old dining room that butts up against a kitchen and the slow service. But all in all a good place for breakfast downtown about 100 yards from the beach on the main drag.

One of the best breakfast in area. Come hear every year. Chipped beef is awesome. This trip flies biting our legs while eating. Need to do something about this. Must be a bad year with flies at the beach.

Wonderful food and service. I love these people. Great prices. It’s delicious. The owners are especially fantastic. I can recommend anything on the menu, and you should not visit without trying the vegetable soup, which is their house specialty. Even if you don’t like vegetable soup(which I don’t) I still order it anyway because it’s very uniquely flavored. My only critiques are these: always have to get there early because it’s packed and very busy. The bathrooms aren’t terribly well kept, and the AC on humid summer days doesn’t cut it. Can’t miss this if you’re visiting the beach.

Oh my. Breakfast was underwhelming in every way. When breakfast people leave bacon and omelet on the plate, something is wrong. The condiments were cheap.(I didn’t even know Kraft made grape jelly but it didn’t taste like grape jelly) The OJ was watered down as was the hot chocolate. The service was good and we didn’t hold the food against her tip wise but wow, never again.

On the south side of Rehoboth Ave. lies a small, easily missed diner. I know because I walked past it thrice trying to find it. Many people say that Robin Hood is a staple of Rehoboth, and they were right. People who’ve lived in lower slower Delaware their whole lives know about the Robin Hood, and have more than likely eaten there. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is great. However, when I ordered some pancakes and bacon, they served me a plate too small to house the pancakes. I either had to cut all of the pancakes at once or hang one off my plate so I could cut it on a solid surface. Another odd quirk is that, on the breakfast menu, everything that isn’t eggs is listed under«Specialties.» The interior is small, but cozy, and feels like a place everyone could go with their friends for a nice breakfast. If you’re in the area, I highly reccommend it.

Very good breakfast! I had the mushroom and cheese omelet. The wife(I like calling her that!) had eggs over hard and bacon. Both dishes were well prepared and tasty. Coffee was excellent and plentiful. Service was attentive and quick. Your basic all American diner done well!!! Highly recommend.

Robin Hood Restaurant is a small diner on the main strip in Rehoboth. It is very popular at breakfast time, probably mainly for the drink specials advertised for brunch. I did not notice many people with mimosas while we were there, nor did I notice anything much brunch-like on the menu. The menu did have an extensive list of standard breakfast fare as you would find at any diner, and for that it was fine. Our eggs were cooked perfectly, as were the other breakfast items. You can get a drink if you want, but if all you want is a standard breakfast this place will serve just fine.

This is a simple, little breakfast diner. The service is quickly and friendly. There are waitresses always making rounds with coffee pots to keep patrons’ mugs full. The food is on par with IHOP and other average breakfast diners. I shared the hot cakes with scrapple. If you’re a fan of breakfast sausage, then I would recommend scrapple to you; it just wasn’t for me. All in all, Robin Hood is a fair spot if you’re craving some breakfast food while most of the other restaurants are closed.

Went here for dinner Sunday evening. When I walked in I saw patrons eating what appeared to be standard deep fried chicken tenders and fries. I wasn’t hungry and the menu did nothing to make me hungry. My kids got fried shrimp, my friend got a burger, my wife got chicken tenders, and my friends wife got liver and onions. The burger was obviously a frozen patty from the grocery store. The chicken and shrimp looked the same. The only thing that looked decent was the liver and onions. The servers were very polite. I’d rather get a frozen burger from home and make it myself then pay a premium for this crap.

Great food and service. Got the Greek omelet with spinach and it came with taziki. We told the waitress we were going to share and they brought it out nicely split on two plates. Plenty for both of us.

The breakfast is mediocre at best but at least the servers are super nice! Pancakes were tough and heavy. Eggs and potatoes weren’t seasoned well at all. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Had breakfast here. Descent food. Typical American Diner type food. Pancakes were so, so. Eggs weren’t greasy! Fairly cheap. ~$ 9 per person. Gotta pay for parking. :-(.

Of the sit-down breakfast options in downtown Rehoboth, Robin Hood is probably the second best(my favorite being Sammy’s Kitchen). However, when Sammy’s is crowded, as it was this past Labor Day weekend, I simply walk over to the ocean block of Rehoboth Ave to this hole-in-the-wall diner. The price range is cheap and on par with the breakfast competition($ 9.50 for a ham+cheese omelet that comes with hash browns and toast). Service is adequate, and the place is decently clean in spite of its appearance from the outside(there has been a dead fly stuck between the menu and glass of the front window for quite some time now…). Robin Hood’s biggest benefit is that it serves mimosas($ 4.95), something lacking from a majority of the other breakfast options in town(I promise I’m not an alcoholic).
