This real estate is by far the worst I’ve ever had to deal with. I submitted an application, and they asked for what I thought was reasonable requirements. I don’t understand why they care about my credit score? As long as I pay my rent and utilities that’s all they should care about, right? WRONG! I spoke to Diane most of the time and her tone was always rude, almost as if she dreaded having to talk to me. She told me to submit my co signers application ASAP and let’s her know.(BEMINDFULITS45 $ PERAPPLICATION) So I do as I’m told and I try calling her and all I get is a voice recording saying their phone line is disconnected, so I go down to their location, and a HUGE sign says they’re moving to a new location and closed, and they’re closed on MLK Day! Finally Diane calls me back in her rude tone of voice to tell me my application has been approved, but that my deposit will be 1,800 $(NOTINCLUDINGTHE1stMONTHSRENT!) A sign on their door says«equal housing opportunity». YEAHRIGHTMORELIKEGIVEUS90 $ TOKEEPYOUWAITINGON A HOMETHATISDAMNNEARIMPOSSIBLEFORYOUTOEVERRENT! Not to mention I can check my credit online for free thanks for charging me 90 $ to waste my time. :)

Let’s just start out with this statement: If I could give negative stars I would. If you have a choice, or any common sense– save yourself the hassle and DONOT rent from this awful company. My husband and I rented a great one bedroom apartment from them for a reasonable price. It was spacious and had your normal white kitchen appliances. However, the people that lived there before us must have smoked all day long in that apartment. So amount of washing walls, Windows, carpets, etc. could make that smell go away. It was horrible! And management? Well I’m sure you know where I’m going with this… They didn’t even blink an eye. They told us to change the air filter– which by the way had to be oh so conveniently custom made! So we did that didn’t help a bit. But as we were stuck in a one year lease we suffered through it… And many more things. Our toilet broke and flooded the bathroom. The maintenance man told us he would replace the toilet but the guy at the main office said no «It must be the light from the window making it sweat» So I had my dad come look at it. Turns out they were all idiots and my dad fixed it in just a couple minutes replacing a little rubber washer. I could sit here and type these experiences all day. But let me go ahead and tell you what really put me over the edge. My husband and I paid ever single month early/on time. Not one late payment. Our deposit though? Hahah that’s a funny story. When we moved out not only did we have the house professionally cleaned and cleaned it our selves. This apartment was so clean I would have eaten off of any given surface in there. We went to town!!! Yet when we got our deposit back in the mail, they kept half of it stating that they«needed to paint the walls, remove trash, window coverings needed to be replaced, carpets needed to be cleaned, and a move out clean had to be conducted» So we called the office again… And again… And again. Every time we were told that the two people who handle the deposits were«busy» unfortunately the total was not worth spending the $ 500 to take them to small claims court. But mark my word, I will let someone rent a room in my house before I’d recommend Action Properties. They are liars and cheats. Stay away. Don’t let their nice and welcoming fake attitudes fool you!!!

I recently moved into a property managed by Action Properties. So far we have had nothing but a great experience! From the application process to the move in, it’s been wonderful. Really nice, warm people to work with. A few days after we moved in, we realized the air conditioning unit was not working, so I picked up the phone and the head of maintenance came out to us in no time. They assessed the issue and had the AC people out to fix it the next day. Over all, I couldn’t be happier with the whole thing. We love the house and we are really happy. Last week, I went in to drop off rent and they the remembered my name, they asked how we are liking the house and if they could do anything for us. Years ago, in my single days, I lived in an apartment complex where every month I would hand deliver my rent check and no one in the office ever know who I was. It’s nice to be remembered. Great people here!

I have to say when we first walked in. we were a bit nervous and it looked really busy. They gave us a key and off we went to look at our home. When we came back, it was much more relaxed and everyone in the office was friendly and encouraging. They made our move stress free and we continue to like doing business with them. The water place never switched the water over for us and Action Properties was nice about it. We have nothing but good things to say about them

They do not know how to do an eviction! They served my tenants 4 eviction notices and still did not get them out. Each time they accepted partial payments on rent. When I asked if they can do an eviction for breach of contract or no-cause, they flat out said they didn’t know how to do that! Every month, my owner statement was wrong and needed adjustment. They overcharged and kept the late fees!
