I visited a great friend in Reno and he took me to the Alibi. I ended up going two more times on my own because it is so much fun. Now that I am back home, I am missing the Alibi. The drinks are good, the people are friendly, and hell what more do you need in a bar. Go and see for yourself.

I have been coming to the Alibi for almost 10 years. The night bar tenders have always been awesome, super friendly, funny, on point and mix amazing drinks.
I have hardly ever seen a fight and it feels like my Cheers.
The alibi is a «dive bar» however, it is one of the nicer «dives» this «bar fly» has had the pleasure of being a customer. It does get smoky and can get busy but it’s always really chill.

Great hole in the wall local bar. Huge selection of liquor, light on the beer… But that’s ok :) can be a little Smokey but if youre ok with that it’s a great place. Unlike my midtown bars it has Tvs and they were happily on the velocity channel when we got here!

I’m not from Reno so when I stumbled upon this place and found out its open way past 2am I was blown away. So my bartender was some punk looking guy, denim jacket with patches and trucker looking hat. Nice guy, shot the breeze (conversated) with him. Bar allows smoking so prepare for cigg smoke as you enter. In conclusion, nice place and drinks are reasonable and bartender dude is super chill and funny

So this place is open 24 hours which is weird to me, but thats only because im from california. Its a nice chill place. The bartender idk his name exactly but he was very friendly and funny, made conversation with me and my bf and kept us laughing. The crowd was good. Id come here again.

It’s tiny and a lot of people who come here smoke. If you don’t like it, go somewhere else. They have sooo many bottles of booze it’s ridiculous. This place is open 24÷7÷365. The bartenders are all great, and very nice. Be warned: there’s no clocks or windows. It’s very easy to time travel here if you aren’t careful.

I can get lost in this place… Its comfortable, no windows, great bartenders, spectacular selection of bottles behind the bar. I always have to have a good idea of what type of drink I want before going in there-​Vodka, Whiskey, Tequila, etc. Theres so many options you can spend an hour deciding what you want-​easily. It is a smokers bar, so be prepared for that… They have an ATM and take cash only, which is a little inconvenient… So if youre gonna check it out bring your cash, bring your smokes and be prepared to lose track of time in the Alibi…

Definitely a smoker’s bar. But the customers and bartender were friendly on my visit here.
I arrived and walked into this dark bar and couldn’t find a comfortable place to sit. And then the stench of cigarette smoke really set in. I was going to walk out but a friendly customer invited me to sit at the bar. I stayed for one drink. The bartender went out of his way to be friendly. I looked around the bar and literally half the people in there were smoking.
Because of all the smoking, I’d probably give the place two stars, but the friendly bartender and customers raise it to three stars.

It’s 2 o’clock on a Friday and I’m craving the Alibi’s world famous kamakazi’s made with fresh squeeze lime juice. And a beer. Then repeat.

The Alibi Lounge is the perfect dive bar!
The 500+ bottles of liquor behind the bar is an amazing spectacle. That along with cheap beers, strong drinks, it’s dark, and not a ‘hipster’ in sight is worthy of 5 stars.
Oh yeah, you can smoke in there!
I’ll be back!

My favorite lounge in Reno. They have approx. 500 bottles of liquor on the wall. If you cannot find a drink you have a problem. The bartenders will go the extra mile to make sure you are having a great time. It is open 24hrs a day 365 days a year. It is a great place to have a drink after work, meet up with friends before going out on the town or after your done for the night and want a place to go that is really laid back. Prices are quite resonable as well. During Monday Night Football games they have a dinner provided by the bar as well. Check it out sometime. It’s a nice little place outside of the norm in this town! Bring CASH! NO CARDS ACCEPTED!!!
