Fine dinning at its finest! Food was of high quality as well as the desserts and drinks! Very satisfying! Staff is also excellent! Superior all around! A must while in Reno! My go to every time while staying at the peppermill!

I’ve eaten here a few times. Always have great service, awesome food and the atmosphere is nice. They have some great steaks! Its not cheap but for a high end steakhouse you get what you pay for.

Nice«special occasion» place. A bit pricey, but excellent service. The entire wait staff was courteous and attentive. They have an excellent selection of wines. Fresh bread on the table. I had the 12oz filet with a 10 oz lobster tail. Cooked to perfection. The lobster tail was huge. A lot of food. My wife had the salmon with risotto. The salmon was flavorful. The risotto was slightly under cooked. Sides were the truffle Mac and cheese, lobster mashed potato’s and asparagus. All were delicious! We ordered a 2007 Cabernet from Vineyard Seven & Eight. Outstanding. It was a very enjoyable dining experience.

Awesome restaurant! We ordered the rib eye and table side Caesar salad and bananas foster. Great service and really cool atmosphere. It’s not your traditional setting steakhouse. You feel like you’re in kind of a jungle with the decorative motif. We had a big party and the waiter was very patient with all our indecisive minds. I will definitely come back and recommend. The rib eye did cost 45 dollars which is expensive but it is Reno and right in the hotel. The price is why I give four stars instead of five. For three people to order these three items it was well over two hundred dollars. We tipped very well, 20%.

Ordered the 16 oz prime rib. Cut a little bit thick, fat was in chunks throughout the steak, and it was a little bit dried out. Presentation was beautiful though. Service was phenomenal. They always checked our table and asked if we were doing well, consistently filled up our waters. Waiter was so friendly.

The Alaskan King crab legs are a must order here, huge portion. Prime aged ribeye was a really thick cut of beef, but also a bit dry for medium cooked. I prefer my ribeye juicier, maybe its wiser to order medium rare. Not really a fan of the escargot dipped in butter, oysters were on point fresh like they just caught them, and the crab cakes or rather one giant crab cake, served with grilled asparagus was a treat for your taste buds. The portions here are really huge, come with a mean appetite you wont be disapointed

My family and I had a wonderful experience dining at Bimini on New Years Day 2016. I enjoyed the coconut shrimp to start and delicious Mac n Cheese. Five Stars for the Lobster Bisque. My steak was cooked to perfection. Nathan you are awesome, thank you for being the best host.

Excellent steakhouse. Best value and outstanding quality. Our porterhouse for two came cooked to perfection. The lobster bisque was well balanced. The onion soup probably the best I’ve ever had. We were told cooking time would be 40 mins but we were having such a good time that it fell like 10 mins. Time went by really fast.

Total bummer you used to be my favorite :( Our service was so slow last week our food came out warm the spinach had zero flavor my husband’s steak wasn’t hot and very gritty my filet was good I always order rare but I still expect my food to come to the table hot the filet didn’t have a bad taste though and my lobster was like rubber. Maybe they were off that day but I know after drinks and food and an over 150 dollar tab we won’t be testing the waters again which is a major bummer because my birthday is in a couple weeks :(the plus side their long island ice tea is great!

Perhaps one of the most delightful steakhouses to be enjoyed when visiting Reno. Myself and about 18 colleagues dined here last night… Of course with the number of us in our group, perhaps we ordered and tried most if not all of their small plate appetizers… everything from lobster hush puppies, escargots, Rockefeller oysters, to calamari… excellent. I started my meal with a Caesar salad, followed by the succulent rack of lamb, with sauté spinach. I couldn’t finish there was just too much food… others had the 22oz ribeye, 8oz filet, salmon… I had no room for dessert, but others ordered from the variety of sweets, including the Baked Alaska that was prepared at table side. The full bar provided awesome drinks including Bourbon, Brandy, Wines… Our dining experience was flawless… attentive service, exceptional foods… a great evening had by all. The«damages»…huge, but thankful it went on the company card. When in Reno… consider Biminis for your special evening. Most definitely 5-stars!!!

Every year on our trip to Reno with the French Club, my husband and his father leave the Peppermill and go to Harrah’s steakhouse downtown to get a5 onion soup, served in an onion. With a side of filet mignon and lobster, of course. Mom and grandma and I usually stay behind and find something to eat at Peppermill, but tired of the Biscotti’s restaurant, this year we decided to look for some light fare at the resort’s Bimini Steakhouse. Alexsandra introduced herself as the assistant to our server, which was funny bc we never actually had another server help. But we didn’t need one, she did a great job on her own. We kept it simple, ordering French onion soup for each of us, plus a loaded baked potato to share between mom & gma, plus a chopped salad for me.(We’d been eating/drinking all day and this was too much food for our barely-hungry table). The beef broth of the soup was rich and salty. In a good way. The croutons floating atop the large soup were saturated with the delicious juice but still retained a little crunch, and were covered in an appropriate layer of browned, melted cheese. Salad had delicious crumbles of rich, blue cheese, blackened, crunchy bacon bits all through it, w/delicious dressing and fresh, crispy green lettuce. For just under $ 50 we had more than enough food for the three of us and we left very satisfied with the quality of food and especially the service.

It’s been a couple of years since I have eaten at Bimini and enjoyed it very much. But the other night I went to enjoy the skills of their bartender Ilona Smith and Negroni Week. It’s a small bar– only six seats. In fact I don’t even remember it being there the last time I was there because is small. But it’s a nice space if you want to hang out with just a couple of people and chat with Lo. She’s fabulous and so full of knowledge about anything liquor. Since it was Negroni week we ordered Lo’s special Lady Negroni– WOW Ok we ordered more than one. I don’t know she thought of it but this grapefruit gelato concoction was the best variation I had all week. My new coin came in hand. A gentleman at the other end of the bar brought it up. I pulled mine out and said like this one. And he happily bought one of my drinks that evening If your in the Peppermill wind your way up to the Bimini and ask for Lo. Cheers

I’ve never eaten at Bimini… but I’ve enjoyed drinks at the bar on more than one occasion, mainly because they’re always good! That’s no accident either. See there’s a really talented individual that’s likely to greet you with her big beautiful smile and bubbly personality as you approach the brightly lit bar in Bimini. Her name is Ilona, but if you want to be her friend, just call her Lo. Now don’t let that dress shirt and tie fool you into thinking she’s just another Peppermill bartender. No. No. No. I’ll let you in on a little secret, she’s actually the Property Mixologist, responsible for just about all of the craft and creative cocktails you’ll find throughout the property, and a multiple national award winning competition bartender too! Lo knows her stuff, from wine to whiskey and all things in between, she can share history, tasting notes, and of course, mix up a mean drink that you’re sure to enjoy. What I love about Lo, aside from her charming personality and exceptional customer service skills, is her culinary approach to cocktails. Whether it’s rapidly infusing a spirit or syrup in an ISI charger, carefully carving and cutting fruits for a garnish, or collaborating with the property’s talented chefs to cook up something extra special to compliment one of her creations, Lo’s creativity knows no bounds, and each one of her cocktails is a true reflection of herself and the exacting standards of the Peppermill. On this last visit I had the pleasure of enjoying an old fashioned, a negroni, and a boulevardier. All three classic cocktails, and all three perfectly prepared and presented. This was just an exercise in simplicity for her, and she nailed them all with exacting proportions of the simple ingredients that make up these drinks. Mixology aside, it takes a special kind of person to make a great bartender, and Lo is a true master of her craft. No matter what kind of day you’re having, a little time with Lo in Bimini can make it better. Just like a good cocktail she’s the perfect balance of smiles, sass, sarcasm, and sweetness, so do yourself a favor and go see her! Cheers!

My husband and I were staying at Peppermill & decided to try this steakhouse on our last night. Definitely satisfied our craving for high-quality steak along with some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve had! Bill was our amazing server… not too pushy, very welcoming & very pleasant to talk to. The service ran very smoothly between courses… they served bread with the options of butter or oil & vinegar, which my husband loves both options. They also served a peach soda to cleanse our palettes between course. Then warm moist hand towels after our meal. Our food was delicious! We had the Seared Ahi Tuna as an appetizer which was refreshing & very good. Then we shared the 24 oz Bone-In Porterhouse to share which was well beyond enough for the two of us. We split it, ate about half & packed the rest to go. Steaks were amazing, nicely buttered & seasoned. The lobster mash is a must try! Huge chunks of lobster in a nicely buttered mash. We enjoyed everything & the pleasant service will make it a place to go back to.

Hands down our favorite steak house in Reno! Delicious menu, attentive service from personable staff, cool table-side presentation and flaming dishes, and nice ambiance. Bimini is a winner all-around! Neither stuffy nor condescending like some other steakhouses(ie: Harrah’s), you’ll feel comfortable no matter your attire — casual to dressy. As with most steakhouses, be prepared for a pricey evening — but well worth it if you’re up for the splurge. On this visit, we had the Kale Salad(cooked table-side) and the Château Briand(carved table-side). Both were quite tasty and magnificent. LOVED server, Georgie — she brought the perfect blend of professionalism and fun! Locals Tip: get a locals card from the casino before dinner, good for 20% off anywhere on the property. Side note that may amuse you or annoy you: If you sit at a table in the upper area that surrounds the large, circular pillar in the center of the room(on which undersea videos display), you will experience an odd phenomena: we kept hearing«crowd sounds», but couldn’t see where they were coming from. There were multiple simultaneous conversations, and periodically you’d be able to make out a specific word or sentence. It sounded like it came from speakers in the ceiling. We thought perhaps they’d «piped in» crowd sounds as white noise so you wouldn’t hear conversations from the table next to you, or to make the restaurant seem more full and«happening». We asked the waiter, and were told we were hearing a large party on the other side of the pillar. He said the dome ceiling above the center pillar sometimes works like an amplifier from one side to the other. This actually amused us, and feeling quite playful after sharing a bottle of wine, we decided to have our own overly-loud conversations, riddled with random embarrassing oddities thrown in for dramatic effect. We never knew if anyone heard our made-up rantings on the other side, but it kept us entertained. :-) During our next visit, we had a lovely booth near the windows overlooking the pool, and even though this time we couldn’t hear the pillar conversations like we did at the other table, we had an equally great and memorable evening. Next time we’re in the mood for a splurge, we will be back to Bimini!

By far the best meal I’ve had in the past few days. Ambiance was very lovely. Service great, and food phenomenal. We were always checked on. There was a gentleman with a suit who stopped by our table to greet us and thank us for dining there. That made our dine in feel a bit more special. I ordered the rib eye medium rare. It was so good with the key lime bearnaise sauce. I also tried my friend’s salmon and it was so juicy with flavors. The table across from us had their meal cooked right in front of them, that was exciting to watch. Makes me wonder if they train all their servers to cook like that. The appetizer we ordered was wonderful. The beef was thinly sliced with a creamy sauce on a bed of spring mix with a light vinaigrette. My favorite side was the lobster whipped potatoes. Both creamy and satisfying. At the end, our server came by with a rich chocolate mousse cake. I am not use to fine dining, but it feels great to have this experience once in awhile.

Ate here this past weekend with the boyfriend. Started off the night with a SLOW start. Considering this is a high class restaurant, I was pretty irritated that we waited 15 minutes before our waiter showed up to our table. Our waiter walked past our table multiple times. Towards the end of the night, our waiter did make it up by being attentive. However, first impressions are the lasting ones. We started off with the Oyster Rockefeller($ 17). The dish was presented well and the flavor was excellent! The 6 oysters were large and came out pipping hot. There was spinach and bacon with a buttery sauce! Yum! The oysters were also not fishy which I enjoyed! Definitely recommended! For our entrees we ordered the 12 oz Prime Filet($ 50) and 8 oz Filet($ 35). The steaks were cooked to perfection and had great flavor. Definitely opt for the prime filet. Much softer cut. The potatoes accompanied with the dish was pretty pathetic. They were so dried out and cold. Must have been sitting out all night. For our sides we ordered the Lobster Maine Mash Potatoes($ 9) and Sautéed Spinach($ 7). The mash potatoes had excellent flavor, but the lobster seemed previously frozen. The lobster was small, hard, and fishy. The sautéed spinach was okay, not spectacular. My boyfriend and I were too full to order desert. Our waiter came by with dark chocolate to clean our palette which was great. When checking into the hotel, we were offered a coupon for a free appetizer here. Great deal! Overall I had a so-so experience here(3.5÷5). There are things that could’ve been a lot better. Maybe I expected too much…

All respectable casino/resorts are going to have their own steakhouse which includes the Peppermill. Bimini Steakhouse is located on the second floor connected closely to Peppermill’s version of a club, Edge. We arrived at 7:36 without reservations on a Wednesday night and were seated by 7:55pm. Not a long wait being that it was a weekday, I would probably make reservations if I was planning to go on the weekend. The restaurant’s décor and ambiance is simple and nice. The waitress sat us at our table and took drink orders about 5 minutes in. Then we ordered: 22oz ribeye: the ribeye was decent. I probably would not order it again. It’s just not as good as some of the awesome ribeye steaks I’ve had previously at other steakhouses that are at a comparable price. 12oz Filet Mignon: I actually liked this cut better. The flavor was there and it was extremely tender to where a person with one tooth could chew without problems. Lobster Mashed Potatoes: these were smooth buttery mashed potatoes that went well with the steaks. But what made Bimini unpleasant was the extreme long wait for the food to be prepared which was about 40 minutes. Also the lack of attentive service to our table. I hate that my head was constantly spinning around looking for the waitress or anybody for that matter to get more drinks or even the bill prepared. Was the food decent? Sure, it’s steak. Meat=good. Would I come again? Probably not. Overall: for the premium price I expected better service and at least if the service is poor, if Bimini blew me away with the food quality it would compensate, but the food didn’t. So next time I’ll save my chips and try another steakhouse more worthy.
