Failure on the DMV eye test meant my eyes needed to be checked. As new resident I chose Reno Family Eye Care from the internet and easily made an appointment.
The office is spacious, clean and well-​lit. Short wait time, several tests, and then Dr. Mariah Bright. She put me at ease with a smile and did those confounding tests: Which one do you like better? A or B, B or A, A or B, etc. Finally I had an ah ha moment: I like that one! We laughed. Next my eyes were dilated and given a few minutes to take effect. Then she sat down to discuss her conclusions, any treatments, did I have any questions? Yes, I had prepared a list of questions and they were all addressed.
Lenses were prescribed, opticians there to help with frame selection.
Overall, a professional place, good visit, they are now my home for eye care.
Only regret: I did not bring a list of my medications.

This is the best optometrist in Nevada hands-​down. UC Berkeley-​trained, professional, wonderful person, and extremely knowledgeable.
