Boyden Scott, MD

Dr. Scot Boyden is an outstanding oral surgeon. If you’re looking for someone who is conscientious, caring and really knows what he is doing, then you’ll want to see him.
I had three consultations with three other doctors prior to seeing Dr. Boyden for extractions and then dental implants and knew right away that the other doctors were not for me. They seemed to lack the necessary knowledge and expertise to do it correctly. I was concerned that they didn’t see me as a person; it just didn’t feel right.
Dr. Boyden however, definitely sees me as a person which is evident by his outstanding bed side manner. This includes copious amounts of patience while answering my many questions and concerns and his ability to clearly explain what needs to happen and why it needs to happen in layperson’s terms and he stands behind his work 100%!
He’s also a very likable person and is laid back with a good sense of humor. I learn so much from him and really enjoy going to his office. His staff is a reflection of him – warm, helpful and fun.
As far as his pricing, I found it reasonable and competitive.
Definitely a five star experience all around! I’ve just finished the final step of all of the procedures and now have implants in place. If you want your procedure done right the first time, then you’ll want to go see Dr. Boyden!

Had a tooth extracted here; it was *expensive*.
Asked for nitros, he «forgot».
Asked the assistant for some suction after the initial injections filled my mouth with blood, and the lady sez «You can just swallow that next time» and scraped my teeth up good with the metal suction wand for asking.
Over 300 bucks for an extraction that took about 5 minutes.
On the upside, Dr. Boyden does look a LOT like Andy Dick, so there’s always that…
