Please do yourself a huge favor and do not do business with this dealership. They will not give 2 hoots about you after the sale is done. They are the worst I have never been treated so badly honestly!!!

My father worked for the same car dealership in Las Vegas for close to forty years. My car buying experience, until he retired, consisted of me telling me him what car I wanted and him bringing the car to me and me signing some paper work. Since that time, I have bought many cars and have nightmares and horror stories about the people that I have dealt with. I have never referred a friend to a dealership and I have never bought a car from the same dealership twice. That all changed when I called Dolan Automotive about a pre-​owned Mercedes that they had for sale.
The car was a few years old with very low miles. It looks brand new. I did my research before I went in and knew what my bottom line was. Beth Pollard met us at the door. Before we test drove the car, we went over the price. To my delight they had done their research as well and the car was a thousand below my bottom line. This allowed enough room in our financing that we could afford the extended warranty. Beth gave me a list of documents they needed and allowed me to use her office and computer to print out everything that the finance department needed. As we walked out to test drive the car, Beth delivered our paperwork to the finance department. The car is beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. Beth did as well. She is extremely professional and knows how to do her job very well. Even more important, she is kind, warm, funny and honest. Our whole family adores her. When we got back from the test drive, our papers were ready for signing and we were out the door within the hour. The only hiccup was that we had to come back in to resign a few pieces of paper. For this inconvenience they filled up our gas tank. The hiccup in our deal was that they were able to find us a lower interest rate. Which means they continued to work for us even after we walked out the door and drove off the lot.
After driving the car a few weeks, we noticed that the breaks were squeaking. I called to ask if they could look at the breaks. They did not use the words «as is». They did not explain that break pads are not covered under our warranty, which they are not. They said we are sorry for the inconvenience, we will handle it, and here is a rental car that we will not charge you for. Beth and Derrick kindly explained, that they do not sell cars with brake problems after 30 days. Dolan is truly a triple threat. Their sales department, finance department and service department, all compete to see who can deliver the best service.
About a month later, another Mercedes came up on their website. I called Beth and told her I wanted to look at it. Once again, I knew my bottom line and the car was several thousands less. No negotiation was needed. We updated our paperwork and again our paperwork was done and ready to sign when we returned from our test drive. Off we went in about an hour. Finally, a dealership, that was not ran by my dad, had earned our repeat business.
My best friend had been looking to buy a Mercedes as well. She saw a pre owned car that she was interested in at our local Mercedes dealership, but it was ridiculously overpriced. I looked on Dolan’s website, and they had the same Mercedes she was looking at, a few thousand less than blue book and almost $ 10,000 less than the car at the Mercedes dealership. I texted Beth with my best friends contact information and shortly after that, my friend had a new car with a bow on it. Another first was a achieved. I referred a friend to a car salesperson because I trusted that Beth would take care good care of her and she did.
As a school teacher I know how much Dolan does for our schools and our community. If you haven’t seen any of the programs they have started, please look at their Facebook page. It is clear that Dolan and the people that work for them are not interested in just selling you a car. They are interested in created relationships with the people in our community and making Reno a great place to live. Great job Dolan Automotive!

Whatever you do don’t give Dolan your email. After doing this I began receiving countless spam emails.

Talk about a riding the shirt tales of a product, that’s the only thing this company has going for them, that they are able to do right and has done right, was buy into the Toyota brand. From your first sales experience and empty promises to damage to your vehicle in service, this dealership does nothing right, all the way down to a measly car wash. Constantly missing times, quotes, missing basic automotive 101 items, though not looking at items requested. Then when asked to talk with management, your stalled until they are conveniently gone for the day or in a meeting. I have seen better business practices from Walmart. I first came to this dealership for the product and the good they did in the community, but since every bad experience which was every time I had an experience, I have turned to a competitor and left the brand. Worst thing is, I have work for a Toyota dealership and know how a Toyota customer should be treated. Empty promises at the sale and a robbed wallet is not a few ways to do it. I firmly believe in a dealership kept up vehicle with the factory trained technician, however, Bobo the clown can do just as good, breaking pieces and missing things. I can wait for a rain storm for the next wash. I will never return to any of the dealerships, and I was a return customer. Not sure where they went wrong.

Great car buying experience. Got exactly what I wanted and paid exactly what I wanted. It was very enjoyable.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND going here. I am extremely displeased with the customer service in the auto service department. I made an appointment to drop the car off at 8am on. When I made the appointment I was told it would only take 2 – 3 hours. When I dropped it off the guy then changed it to 3 – 4 hours. I guess having an appointment means NOTHING and is a complete waste of time and phone use. After 4 hours had passed I called to get an update. I was told the guy working on the car was with a customer and would call me right back. He never did. So after about another 30 minutes I called again and was told he just sat down with a customer again. It had been over an 8 hours since I dropped off my car with no update and I was unable to pick up my car that day. I am really displeased with this service and I do not think I want to come back to Dolan if the customer service is going to be like this. It is unacceptable to treat customers as if they are unimportant and their time does not matter and just blow off our call. This service has been unprofessional and rude. It ruined all plans we had for the day and I will not use them again!
Review of when we bought our car:
We were told while looking all prices are negotiable. Then when we started talking numbers the sales man said oh no that is the price we are selling it for and no lower. We had gotten a pre-​approved loan through our own bank before we went looking for a new car. We told them this when we started looking and during the paper work. Then they repeatedly tried to get us to get a loan through them which was not as good as the bank loan we had. Finally, hours later, we get to the last bit of paper work in which the guy tries to sell us a bunch of crap we don’t need saying its free and it was a bunch of BS. When we said no (several times) he got mad and said «no one turns down free stuff» in which we got mad and said we don’t want it! I was really displeased with this «closers» attitude and if we had not almost finished all the paper work we would have walked out. I have not had any good service from this place and am very upset by it. Also, we had to come back because the key they gave us didn’t work… and it still doesn’t. We bought the car months ago.

Between Brian Kelleher, Bisharat Ali, Rachael or Mr Stacy whom I left a message for yesterday someone should of called me back regarding getting my issue resolved…
so far a comment back from Thomas D saying he will get Brian on it… I gave him a week to get on it …
so far nothing… Buy your car somewhere else, no follow up on customer service, we had to contact them to get something done, and they had my husband take off from work twice, once to go down to the dealership and the paint guy was not in, then they called the next day to say bring it down, then called back to say no he wasn’t, then an hour later to say yes they could do it at the toyota dealership. So they have my husband running around… no car provided and my car comes back dirty after all that… and all to take a marker to my car and call it good… REALLY…my 5 year old could of done that.
So if you need your car painted with a marker call me and I will get back to you within the day to let you know if my 5 year old is available… I take pride in my customer service.

First of all I waited this long for my review until the issue was handled.
We bought a car on December from Duane Ball and he was very nice and friendly. Then when my husband got home with the new car and I noticed that there was a little ding on the back right side.
So he called the sales guy & he said to bring the car to fix the ding but after they fixed the ding, there was a little dot need to be paint but they didn’t have the color yet for the 2015 one so we waited.
We waited around 2 months until the new paint is available and called sales guy again but he never called back until my husband had to call to Dolan and talked with someone else that promised when they’ve the color they’ll call him back which they never did or maybe forgot.
So last week I asked my husband to call them again and this time the sales manager told him to come in so they can fix.
Today we came and meet with the sales manager Bryan and he did a good service even offered to borrow us a car so we won’t be stuck while they do the paint but it was just a half hour. Plus they (for 2 other guys) washed the car plus full tank of gas.
Overall the experience was nice & excellent service and my only complain personally is for the sales guy. I mean really? After we bought a car and that new car had a ding and we called him as he told us to call him anytime and as to remember he was our sales guy which the first person that we should contact or talk about something but seems he never care after all. It wasn’t really nice attitude, you should give the best service until everything is done, not just forget about your customer after the customer buy a car from you and you never care anymore.

Reno Toyota Service Dep’t is a head above most other dealer service dep’ts. Customer friendly, organized and, for the most part, timely on their delivery/​completion times. Costs are average for the industry.

I just recently bought a Scion tC and the service I had was amazing. I worked with Jeff Davies and he was the nicest, most helpful salesmen. This was my first time buying a car and he made my first experience incredible. The process was very easy and everyone was very helpful. What a great experience.

Over the past 30 years, I’ve purchased 5 Toyota Tacoma’s from Reno Toyota and the Dolan family. I’m sure I’ll buy another after I burn through the current Tacoma I purchased in 2013. The cars are great. The service is efficient and the follow-​up is personal and accomodating.

I learned that their sales and technical staff are all salaried so there is no feeling of pressure to buy something I might not need. You have to experience this to believe it. I just purchased a 2013 Toyota Corolla and let me tell you it was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! From the sales team to the service department to the managers. Wow fantastic is all I can say! Need a sales person that is polite friendly and knows his product go ask for Ryan. From beginning to end it was great! I won’t buy another car ever from anywhere else. After purchasing a $ 12 000 car I was promised a $ 25 reward card if I gave the «special code» to the receptionist. Two months and six call later I still have not received the reward card. If they think you are going to buy a car you can reach anybody, but after you buy you can’t reach anyone. Ingrid was of no help and quit answering the phone when I continually called back. Service before/​after the sale is still out to the jury. Too bad they don’t back up what they advertise.

After reading the reviews I am blown away. The service we received here at Dolan Auto Group was amazing. James Siver was a great, no pressure, salesman. JJ in finance was extremely nice and knowledgable. I’m satisfied with the excellent service we received today at Dolan. If we are in the market for a new car again we will definitely make the drive from South Lake Tahoe again. Thanks again for the great service.

Don’t Trust their Finance department. We left a deposit for a used car, $ 2500.00 and were told that we could «post date» it. Well, they cashed it four days later!
Not what I would call a reputable Dealership. Haven’t picked the car up yet, might decide to do business elsewhere now.
I bought my Honda Pilot from Honda Reno dealership. and they are much more professional in dealing with.

came here looking to buy a car. Came out of our car on their lot. Not one person came to ask us if we needed help. Looked around for a few minutes, employees saw us but were too lazy to help. Horrible service. Now contemplating other brands of cars. Big companies with horrible customer service.

We bought an FJ cruiser here and I took it in one day for her to get the oil changed and tires rotated. Everyone that works there is so nice and professional, I was so impressed with the service department. We love the vehicle and are very happy with every aspect of the transaction. This is beyond a car dealer ship, its an experience and a good one at that. They even follow up with phone calls and letters to make sure that you were 100% satisfied with your experience. It still has a family owned feel even though it’s a huge dealership.
