What’s not to love about a Fotomat drive-through kiosk turned into a fountain for JAVA! Word on the street(ok a family member who has lived in Reno for over 30 years) the place has been there forever. It’s located in the Village Shopping Center on California @ Booth. It’s my go to spot for coffee pre-Farmer’s Market. During the non-farmer’s market months, I don’t get it visit too often as they close promptly at 2PM. The good: It’s the Cheers of coffee joints… they might not always know my name but they always know my drink! The drinks are mammoth sized. I only have one travel cup that will hold my usual drink. Beyond friendly staff — the owner(I don’t know her name) is always a welcoming as she makes your drink. Many specialty drinks but I stick to my standard 3 shots of espresso over ice. Not sure what the food situation is but Mix Cupcake Co. is just across the parking lot. The not so good: 6AM to 2PM — they close an hour before my mandatory coffee pick me up time of 3PM!

I’ve been jump starting my mornings here on the way to work for the past 14 months. I’ve always enjoyed my experience getting my coffee at this drive thru. It’s super convenient getting great coffee made for you without having to leave your car, especially on cold mornings. I’ve never had to wait long in line. All the ladies working at this place are very sweet and make great coffee. They take the time to remember you and care about getting your order right. They’re also great at suggesting cool new drinks to try when you’re looking for some variety. The menu has a lot of options for all kinds of different coffee drinkers. I truly hope this place stays in business because it would be a major loss to the area if it ever closes.

This place was great. It had 2 friendly attractive young ladies serving great coffee. I got an iced white mocha and my wife got a frozen white mocha. It tastes like it was made with only the best and most heavenly angel farts

I LOVETHISCOFFEE. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad drink from Espresso To Go. I attend the high school that is right nearby, so it’s really convenient to have such a great coffee place so close. The service is always great and they are super quick with your order. Another great aspect of this place is that they sell Costco Muffins and scones from a local bakery. Everything is very reasonably priced as well. There are two Starbucks very close by, but my friends and I would much rather come here.

I love this place. Espresso To Go was one of the first high-end coffee places in Reno. It’s been in this location for 18 years. It’s drive-thru only. The prices are reasonable for what you get(GOOOODCOFFEE). Normally you are served by the owner who, being the original owner of Java Jungle on First Street(she sold it years ago) knows most everything there is to know about coffee. I try to sip her concoctions to make them last, but her coffee is so good, it’s always gone in 10 minutes. ~sigh~ ETG gets 4 stars instead of 5 because there are sometimes long waits even though they have two drive-up windows. Is waiting 10 minutes to get a coffee proof enough of my addiction? Another reason for the one star knock down is that they don’t accept debit or credit cards. Since it’s located near Reno High, try to avoid going here during lunch hour on a school day. ;-)
