I’ve had my nails done for years. Coming from Las Vegas, it’s a hit and miss whether you’re going to get a quality service or not. Granted, I now use Unilocal to scout the business before I try it. Years ago, it was always a gamble. Finding a nail salon in Reno wasn’t a challenge. I looked up nail salons in my area, looked on Unilocal and found Foxy Nails. I’ve now been a loyal client for months and have never had a bad experience. The first time I walked in, I was really late (they were closing). However, I thought I’d give it a shot, given that I had a nail emergency (if there is a such thing) and needed my nails done for an event the next day. I felt really bad walking in so late, but they took me in with a smile. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

There’s a nail salon on every corner, right? Let me tell you — this is not those places. They have a huge amount of regulars and there’s a reason for that. Higher quality products, long term, consistent, friendly staff, complimentary beer or wine with your pedi, sugar scrub, hot towel wraps, reflexology massage — all at a bargain price of $ 35 for the deluxe pedi! You pay $ 95 for the same at the spa. Here’s another thing: I know the owner — she cares. She’s been there for 14 years and her main concern is the customer experience. She continues to look for ways to improve and has recently added eyelash extensions to her existing offerings of all nail care, facials and waxing.
Same prices as all the run-​of-​the-​mill nail places but a much better experience!
(Worth the drive to South Reno).

Foxy nails was recommended by a friend for their amazing pedicure massages. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! I was practically drooling by the end of my pedicure. For some reason it’s becoming more and more difficult to find a nail salon that caters to exactly what customers go there for-​relaxation.
They were prompt and even attended us before our scheduled appointment. The massage chairs were comfortable and every technician was wearing gloves. The atmosphere is comforting and classy compared to other salons in Reno. There is ambient music playing and the tv is muted so you are able to actually relax if you want to. The technicians even wear uniforms which adds to the overall appeal.
The only downside and the reason for the 4 star rating is that there is a pet grooming business next door. The dogs can get loud, which can be distracting but the technician made a hilarious joke about it so it put everyone in a good mood.
100% recommend!

Coming from a big city, I was having the hardest time finding a new nail place! My co worker recommended foxys and this is my only go to place for gels! Fair priced and they always do a great job! The only thing preventing it from 5 stars is sometimes you have to wait a little while even if you have an appointment. But honesty that’s almost all nail places. I definitely recommend Foxy!

Pedicure time again! My boyfriend & I were in south Reno so we picked the salon closest to us. We made a reservation for two and they got us in right on time. The staff members didn’t really go out of their way to talk to us but a great pedicure made up for it!
The color I picked turned out really good, they added a white flower on my big toes with a rhinestone which I thought looked so cute! I was also really impressed by the massage. Neither I or my boyfriend had ever had such a long foot/​leg massage during a pedicure so we might be going back just for that. :) Thanks Foxy Nails!

Just had the best pedicure I’ve had in Reno. They offered me a beverage. I was asked to close my eyes and relax. The massage was great. A pedi runs for about $ 25 and a premium pedi at $ 35. It’s a classic chop shop type place, but value for the service. The nail technicians were not gossiping and chatting the whole time. What a relief! They have an autoclave for cleaning the tools too. Will come back.

Steve and the owner are amazing! The work they do is flawless. This place is truly a gem. I’ve only been here twice but the work they do is so great and all the employees are so personable and friendly. So glad they’re right down the street from me!

A great day spa! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I always come here to get the best spa pedicure with an awesome massage. Also Joanne does my gel manicure and it always turns out great! Definitely recommend coming here out of any other place in south Reno. If you don’t want to wait, an appointment is the way to go, but not necessary.

I was brought here as a treat but I had a delightful time. They offered us beverages and our deluxe pedicures were fabulous! The guy doing mine was very gentle on the middle of my feet where I am very ticklish but he was fast and rough on the outer parts which felt really good. My massage was long and felt awesome and the oils and scrubs smelled really good.
They need some more nail polish colors in my opinion but if I lived in Reno I would definitely go back there, it was so relaxing and fun!
The price was very reasonable as well.

Hadn’t been here in a while several new faces. Ricky was very nice and pleasant and did a nice job. However, I’m sorry no one is using a Micro planer on my foot. Thats just gross and I don’t need it. But will go back

First of all, nail and hair salon services here in the Reno area are over priced compared to those in California. With that said, I believe this nail salon was the best priced. It is however, located far down S. Virginia street, pass the airport. In short this is what makes the place great:
–well priced. mani+pedi = $ 38
full set is = $ 28
pink and white tips = $ 30 fill is $ 20 – 25
mani = $ 15?
white tips added = +$ 5 on each hand
–the staff is quiet and shy at first, but when properly engaged, they are super friendly and sweet.
–the physical place is nice and clean. the décor is good and the equipment for the pedicures are awesome! i got a nice massage while i was waiting for a friend :)
–the actual service is good too. although i got a full set with pink and white tips, my guy worked very fast on my hands (I did happen to go in an hour before closing) and it kinda hurt too :-/​but all in all, he was still cool and my nails look fabulous! go get your nails done here!
