Warning don’t live here!!! Terrible place!!! No parking and if you want a reserved space you have to pay $ 15 a month. The pool is poorly maintained, it is always dirty. The jacuzzi jets have been not functioning for over a year. The jacuzzi also makes you itchy which means they are not monitoring the chemicals properly. The landscaping is poorly maintained, the only thing the landscapers do it blow off the side walks and get your car dirty. Bad location, traffic is very noisy because the complex is on the corner of two very busy industrial roads. Management is horrible, does nothing about complaints.

I have lived here for 2 years and can say that the apartments and the location is great. That being said, my biggest complaint is the parking. It has gotten worse and worse with time. If I come home after 10pm, I have to drive around the entire complex looking for a parking spot. They really need to do what many other complexes do and designate allocated spots for their tenants. Along with this, they need to have a guest parking area. I find it ridiculous that I can never park in the parking row in front of my building and have to spend up to 10 – 15 minutes driving around until I find one, and then walk all the way back to my apartment. This is extremely inconvenient. Every day, there are cars I have never seen before parked in front of my place. There are so many spaces under the parking roofs, yet many are empty and we cannot use them in fear of being towed. Anyways, this place would be perfect if they could figure out the parking issue.

To all; PLEASE read this before you move in or sign any documents with this property. This place is the devils kitchen and they will fleece you for anything they can. I recently accepted a position in Reno and was going to move into Horizon. I gave a deposit and signed up. My job fell through and I couldn’t move in so I went back to the office and was told I would lose my 700 deposit but no other worries. Several months later I got a letter from a collection agency telling me I was past due 2500 dollars for an early termination fee. Needless to say my credit got whacked and I now owe 2500 more plus the 700 for an apartments I never moved into. The manager(Kristy) played sweet and nice during the courtship but turned out to be the devil. BEWARE! They offer sweet move in specials but you will pay in the long run. There is a reason why there is such a high turnover rate here. There are plenty of nice apartments in Reno on the up and up. STAYAWAYFROMHERE:(
