IHOP

BEWARE: as of 12−31−15 all locations have stopped the «kids eat free after 4pm» offer. With three children this was a driving factor in eating there. I hope this reinstated, even if on a limited basis. Other than that, it is a clean, well decorated location with great service.

I come to this location not only because I like the food, but because they have the most amazing waitress you will ever come across, Suzie. She is the hardest working woman I think I may have ever seen working in a restaurant. This woman works the floor all alone on weekends and is always smiling no matter how busy she is. This owner is so lucky to have her! You have to stop by and say hi to her. She’s the sweetest lady you will ever meet. To the Owner… Suzie is truly amazing at what she does and makes your Customers feel welcome. I really hope you treat her well and know how lucky you are!!!

It’s always good here! Crepes are fresh and delicious. Amazing service which is a big plus.

I ordered the grilled chicken salad and they dressed it in the kitchen. Granted, I did not request dressing on the side, but who today (besides this IHop) puts dressing on a meal-​type salad? I haven’t had to ask for dressing on the side in any restaurant for years. I picked out and ate the chicken as there was way too much dressing on it for my taste. I gave it three stars because the service was good and the place looked clean.

I am so freakin mad that I am shaking after going here for lunch today. I had to wait till I got home to write this because I am still shaking. I drove from Sparks to this location to have lunch with my husband since his work is near this location. I got there fist and ordered our drinks. When my husband got their we placed our order. I ordered the patty melt and my husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger. My husband only has an hour for lunch and that includes the driving time to get to and back. Several tables were seated after we placed our order and they ALL got there food before we did. We actually never got our food my husbands lunch was over and never got our food. He left and I went to the cashier to pay for our drinks and our waiter came up and said our food was ready and I told him I don’t care I am not paying for the food. He said but it’s ready now and I told him very loudly that I don’t care and I am not paying for the food. I will pay for the drinks but not the food since we did drink them. We wound up not having to pay for the drinks either. I drove all that way to eat lunch with my husband and never got any food. Will never go back to this location or any other IHops again.

Poor service and a horribly filthy lady’s restroom
The dinning room only had a few people in it, it was very slow. We ordered our meals and I went to the lady’s restroom to wash my hands. The toilet was a mess with blood down the front of the bowl and on the floor. Upon exiting the restroom I told an employee that the restroom needed immediate attention due to blood on the toile and floor from some women’s monthly cycle The employee apologized and said it would be cleaned immediately. Our food came to the table in stages. I got my chicken & french fries without the vegetable or dipping sauce which was included on the menu. I had to point this out to the waitress. It took a good 5 minutes for the rest of my order to show up. After our meal was done (at least 45 minutes after I had reported the condition of the lady’s restroom) I went in to use the toilet and the lady’s room was still filthy, blood on the toilet and floor. Blood Born pathogens are a serious issue this was unacceptable that on such a slow night, the restroom was left in this filthy condition.

Our Server Bonnie H was great. Provided great service and checked on us often to see how things were going. Food was delicious and big portions. Definitely a place to come back to when craving for breakfast meals.

I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. But I’ll round up since they provided good customer service.
The food is very standard, nothing special. But as for the service: the server recognized our need to get in and out quickly, so she did her best to expedite our experience from beginning to end. She also came by multiple times to ask if we needed anything. In the 15 minutes I was there, I felt like I was treated more than well. And yes, the place was actually near-​capacity.

Comfort food every time. Chicken Florentine is a fav. Turkey dinner a little salty. Lingonberry crepes are also very good.

Not worth the extremely long wait. Their breakfast is good but it’s not that good. We’ve been waiting an hour plus the wait to be seated.

Breakfast for a late lunch? Why not, when it’s what I was craving after a busy Saturday morning. So, I scooped up my daughter from her activity and we went to IHOP.
We were welcomed and sat in a booth without any kind of wait. Our waitress greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. Since it was so late in the day, I had water with lemon instead of my usual cup of joe. The specials this visit were cream cheese filled crepes topped with fruit. I typically like to order the breakfast combo with the special because it’s such bang for the buck, but since I don’t like cream cheese, I went with the regular menu old fashioned pancake combo. My daughter chose to get the New York Cheesecake pancake combo.
The food all came out in a timely manner, though the pancakes were served up first. The presentation, temperature, and quality were all standard fare. I enjoyed my meal and conversation with my little one. Nothing notably exciting and the only disappointment was that I didn’t get a refill on my water.
I did see that they are providing free pancakes in celebration of National Pancake Day on March 4^th. Don’t think that I’d be up for returning on that specific day, but I will come by again, when I see a special I just can’t resist.

Super packed, seemed unorganized, wait time was forever. But. The food was normal. Prices seem to keep rising as well.

Worst Place on earth, 2.69 for a Pepsi? really? They say kids eat free, don’t be fooled they will nail you with the price of a kids drink since that’s not included. Will never visit this chain again. complete rip-​off and food that isn’t fit for my dogs. Patron Beware…

Tried again for the 2^nd time, good service okay seating just the same fly specs and crude looking dirt on the wall and wall hangings. Apparently they do not care about real cleanliness. What does the kitchen look like? I will go to another pancake house but not this one ever again

The service was extremely good here, but you’re going to leave smelling like stale grease.

PHONE orders: Have them repeat your order TWICE when ordering over the phone. Seems that everytime (last three visits) we order stuffed Crepes & stuffed French Toast and the order is NEVER correct. The employees are nice to deal with, but the telephone order confirmation needs to be pushed by management. Maybe it’s time to do online ordering.
The Cinnamon pancakes were missing the cream cheese icing, had to return to the store for that. Nutella Crepes have a sparse string of Nutella inside. Was given a receipt for the amount, but not the line by line breakdown of ordered items.
Our family breakfast of 6 – 7 items had two incorrect or missing items, not the kind of accuracy I am looking forward to. Time for another store.

Went here last night w/​mother and son. We were the only ones in the restaurant for the first hour and still couldn’t get good service. We were seated right away, then the waitress kept coming up to us every 30 seconds asking if we were ready yet, I told her, no and we are not in a hurry. In other words QUIT RUSHING US! Then the waitress said just let me know when you ready, but disappeared in the back somewhere. GRRRRR! I got up to find her and asked her if we could get some soup. My mom ordered soup and it was NOT hot, so the waitress asked if 2 more min. in microwave (wow, that sure sounded appetizing) would be enough. I had to get up from the table about 4 or 5 times during our meal to get something that we needed (OMG! so annoying being that we were only customers in there). Once I had to get up to get another menu and another time more napkins, to ask for a to go container and the check… It was such a miserable experience, although the food was good.
The waitress got a very small tip because the service sucked!

Super happy with my experience here. Our waitress was great. She promptly brought us the nutritional value menu and was patient while I scrolled through counting calories. The coffee was hot, the food tasty. Now, I heart I hop.

Ok. Honestly I have been going to this IHOP for a year now and haven’t really had any problems. I haven’t been totally impressed either… until today.
From the time we got there to the time we left the service was GREAT! Zaira was patient and helpful and clear in what we could get and couldn’t get and how much it would cost.
We have always liked the hash browns from IHOP. Oh so bad for you but oh sooo soooo very good.
Our eggs were cooked correctly. The pancakes were fluffly and warm. And lastly all of the meat was cooked right! One thing that was amazing was the bacon. It was just perfect. Not too crispy or soggy or greasy. If I could cook bacon like this everyday I would probably weigh 400 lbs.
Of course this was a Monday morning just after the morning rush. This was my best experience here and will continue to return.
PS don’t forget that they have bottomless OJ too. 100% not from concentrate OJ. And kids eat free every day after 4:00.
