We’ve had Kempler Design help us on two different home improvement projects. Paul is fun to work with and has many great ideas to offer. We have always been pleased by the final result. Anybody looking to get window coverings will not be disappointed.

Paul Kempler did a outstanding job with our window treatments, and I hope prospective clients
make their own lives easier and call upon this friendly, design-savvy local business.
Paul handles everything — including measurements, installation and detailed adjustments — and brings fabric samples straight to your house in a giant truck with a larger-than-life picture of him emblazoned on the side. It’s an experience, y’all!
He’s not an up-seller, either, but rather a patient soul who’s happy to spend hours discussing décor, style and the overall look you’re seeking. The convenience of it all is luxurious, of course, but so’s the final product. We couldn’t be happier.

I’m very pleased with the unusual shutter arrangement Paul Kempler developed to cover the recessed opening where My TV is located.
The big box stores said «It can’t be done.» but Paul’s idea worked very well.
And the price was very competitive with what the big box stores were trying to sell me.

Paul arrived at our apartment a few minutes early. He was courteous, engaging, thoughtful about our space and well-prepared with parts and tools. He fixed our problem quickly and while he is not the cheapest out there (our experience has been you are rarely best off picking the cheapest) when it came to time to pay he very generously waived his minimum. He was also a good thought partner about alternative solutions for our blinds. I will use him next time for sure.

Okay — since my last review, Paul installed wood shutters in my Mom’s home and she loves them. This is important because she is very picky and complains if she does not like something (i.e. complains TO ME). Not a single complaint so far and it has been about 6 months — YEAH.
I think they look awesome and the look from the outside it nice. I think she saved money this past winter on her heating bill since they are so great at keeping the heat in.
