Had this for lunch yesterday. Was so surprised. Wow. It was really really good. So good in fact, I’m back again the next day for round 2! I live on the other side of town and I made the drive cause it’s that good. Service was great. Price is good.

Their shop on Virginia St closed. Moved to Meadowood Mall inside the food court. Yummy crepes made to order. Speciality crepes are fantastic. Love the Romeo and Juliette(Strawberry/Nutella).

We visited today. Omg! Best crepes. We had dessert crepes so I can’t comment on the others. We had just a sugar one, and 3 others stuffed with yummy fillings. All made in front of us and all had plenty of fillings. I can’t wait to go back and try more!

Holiday hours for Meadowood Mall have extended until 10pm. I understand that may not be all stores, kiosks, and restaurants. However it would be nice to know when a certain place is closed. 9:40 and all lights were on and I waited for 5min until this gentleman came out and just shook his head then went on saying«I’m closing up» I had asked him if they’re not open until 10 and he said«no, I am trying to get out of here.» So upset with the way he responded I advised him that he should really turn off the lights if he was closing. As I walk away he rudely asked«What do you want?» I continue walking away at this point even angrier. Honestly really appalled that I was treated in such a rude manner.

The best crepes in Reno. Great service, great fresh food. Made fresh in front of you. Not like the steam pan food served at the other spots at the mall.

Order the special and Italian peach soda soda didn’t taste good and I love peach so that was a surprise and the special was very bland in its taste. Would however go again to try something else just to make sure its not bad all around

If you’re looking for a fresh cooked to order but still a quick meal or snack while you’re in the Meadowood Mall area you can’t beat Le Crêpe Café. I like to stop here sometimes because I am always working in the field. Located in the food court I can stop for lunch and pull out my tablet and get some work done without feeling rushed. Bonus~ Meadowood Mall has free wifi– I can also walk in from the food court side and avoid the rest of the mall if I want to. The crepes are made hot to order while you wait. You order either a savory or sweet crêpe. They start by pouring the crêpe batter on the hot plate and add the fillings. The menu has a variety of choices in both sweet or savory, lunch or breakfast or just desserts. They also have Italian sodas, salads and paninis. I ordered the Pesto Pesto crêpe. Guess what’s in it? Yep, house made pesto sauce! Or «green gold» to me. Along with shredded chicken, mozzarella and fresh tomatoes it’s a light, and delicious yet filling lunch. The crêpe batter is hot, fluffy and perfectly cooked. The filling ingredients are fresh. A Much better choice than the vats of sticky, goopy food sitting under heat lamps at most of the other vendor booths at the food court. I’ll keep coming here when I’m on this end of town and need to stop to grab lunch and work quietly without interruption. La Crêpe café, aka mes office du jour.

The Romeo et Juliet crêpe with ice cream is amazing! A bit pricy in my opinion, but always delicious.

Wow. Just wow. I recommend The Canadian crêpe. You won’t be disappointed. Bacon is involved.

Like the location on S. Virginia Street, this place is equally well-portioned, fresh, and attentive. I love coming here after a day of shopping. I prefer this location simply because they stay open longer. So good!

This place is good and I come here a lot but seriously extra dressing for my salad(cuz they don’t give you much) is $ 1.50? Come on now! I am not speechless very often but that did it!

First I tried their crepes on a Sunday in the end of November and my crêpe was absolutely phenomenal. I had the veggie and added an egg to it. It was cooked perfectly and the lady working made sure I had my drink and checked my ID during my purchase all while helping other customers and making other crepes. Usually this makes me nervous because workers don’t change gloves but she did every single time and had the skills and time to take them off when needed. My last visit was in the week of December 14 – 20 and my service and crepes were equally appalling. The blonde girl on her phone didn’t look up to help me so I came back after shopping for dessert. I ordered the«Chunky Monkey» with whip cream on top. The girl used an old banana that looked like it had been sitting, she rang me up with the same gloves and then went back to making my crêpe. And when I came back to ask for a better cooked crêpe instead of the blob of dough I was served she told me no and that they’re supposed to be doughy and I could buy a new one. Not to mention I had to wait for 5 minutes until she finished speaking to her girl friend about her mom. I just threw my crêpe away and don’t plan on returning.

The girl working the counter came out from the back, asked me what I wanted, grabbed her cell phone and told the party on the other end to hold on. She then puts on gloves and pulls the panini makings out of the fridge then picks up her phone again and has a conversation. As she is making my sandwich in the back, I see her literally texting on her phone with the same gloves she is using to make my sandwich. She sees me notice it and staring at her then takes off the gloves and puts on a new pair. Ewwww. She gently(haha) puts my sandwich on the counter and says«Here you go» as she is picking up her phone and retreating to the back again. Glad I could interrupt social hour long enough to get my sandwich. The sandwich itself was fine, otherwise this would be one star.

Not quite sure how someone could find this place cozy. It’s in the food court of a giant mall. The pesto pesto crêpe had chicken, pesto, tomatoes and mozzarella. None of the ingredients tasted particularly fresh or high quality. The dough was thick and a bit undercooked. The girl who waited on me was very sweet. Overall, the food was only average and the atmosphere was that an unpleasant noisy mall. I would not return. Maybe okay if you’re hungry and happen to be in the mall.

Those who have read my talk posts and reviews know that I am not a fast-food fan. I was at Meadowood mall around lunch time and I was hungry and decided to scope out the food court. I saw LeCrepe and thought why not? It was a good decision. The menu is broken down into various flavors of crepes: sweet, savory, and a section just for Nutella. There are salads and sandwiches but I knew I was going for Savory– not up for being on a Nutella high all afternoon. I decided on the Croque Monsieur, a tribute to the classic French grilled sandwich, with egg, cheese, and turkey. The crêpe was created in front of me with a paper thin layer of batter spread out on a crêpe griddle. He then deftly lifted it off, placed it face over on a second griddle and added the fillings. The fresh egg was cooked on the crêpe with the turkey and cheese added on top. He told me it took him awhile to learn how to do this. He was flawless I would have torn it or dumped it on the counter. The crêpe was then folded in half then in half again to form a wedge of cheesy deliciousness. I am ashamed to admit I ate every bite. It was very filling and totally satisfied me. The one negative is the use of processed turkey. It did not significantly detract from the dish. Also if I remember correctly, a Monsieur is made with ham, a Madame is with turkey or chicken. Minor quibble.
One of the best meals I ever had was a Crêpe from a street vendor in downtown Paris. Was this one up to that standard? No, but that would be an unfair comparison. For food court food this is a very nice change of pace. I like that it is a small non franchise brand(from Hawaii) and while not healthy, was at least fresh. I would recommend it if you are at the mall.

I was excited to hear about this place back when they opened up. I love crepes! I like the eggy ones at Crème Café, I like the stacked Danish ones my husband makes, I like the light and crisp Japanese type that are rolled into a giant hand held cone, I like the hearty savory breakfast ones. Basically I get pretty stoked about crepes. I don’t come to the mall much and don’t expect much from a Mall foodcourt, but eeek. This was awful. The two girls working were very nice, but very slow and unclear on how to make crepes. I’m pretty sure one new girl was training another even newer girl. Between the two of them they didn’t know what goes inside the crepes(pssst, it’s written on the menu board) and took forever. There was 2 crepes in front of my order, but it took over 20 minutes which is a long ass time to wait at a food stall. The reason it took so long is that they kept messing up so they’d discard several crepes before swirling one on that they deemed satisfactory. And then figuring out the toppings and then a full stall when they ran out of strawberries. One girl went to go wash and chop some fresh strawberries, but instead of giving customers the option to wait, the other girl just decided the two crepes ordered that had strawberries in it would just be given very skimpy portions of the slimy dregs left in the bin. I ordered the Creamy Strawberry(whipped cream cheese, whipped cream, strawberries, powdered sugar) inside my doughy crêpe I got condensed milk, and literally a total of less than 2 small strawberries in slimy slices and one golf ball squirt of canned whip cream. Not at all what I was expecting. The other person who ordered a strawberry banana crêpe got a banana crêpe with a couple scraps of strawberries as a garnish, when they complained the girl said«oh but I gave you extra bananas and nutella!» Gee, I think if someone wanted a chocolate banana crêpe they would have ordered that instead of a strawberry banana whipcream crêpe. My crêpe was heavy, soggy, and a little bit slimy but very sweet due to the condensed milk. I was able to take 2 bites before discarding it. A waste of $ 9.(crêpe was almost $ 8 with tax and I tipped because the service was friendly enough, just a little clueless which ended up detrimental but you don’t know that when you tip upfront). I could have returned it and asked for a remake, but I didn’t want to wait a total of 45 min for a crêpe. big time bummer.

This place soooo nice and cozy. Love the design of the café and delicious crepes menu. We ordered the sweet crepes but they have yummy savory crepes too! What a way to end our trip to Reno!

I came here craving a bit of dessert during my shopping experience at Meadowood Mall and I don’t really think this place is as out of this world as others have suggested. Customer Service: The staff, I admit, were quite friendly and also provided efficient service. However, when it comes to a quick takeaway at a mall, I think customer service means fuck all really. Food: I ordered the Dulce De Leche dessert crêpe, with caramel, condensed milk, and whipped cream on top. The crêpe was… okay. Definitely not the best I’ve had considering the fact that I asked for just a little bit of whipped cream but the woman piled cream on a hot crêpe. The result? Melted whipped cream and a very soggy crêpe. If that wasn’t the case though, the crêpe would’ve been pretty good. But how can you go wrong with caramel and condensed milk, really? I just think it would’ve done them good to have some common sense. It’s like putting the frosting on a cake before it’s cooled.

January 21, 2012 Saturday — lunch 12:30PM 2 adults Atmosphere — 5 stars Food — 5 stars Service — 5 stars Background — If you have to eat at the mall the food court is always convenient. Atmosphere — The restaurant front is the standard size there. What is cool is you get to watch the whole process of them making your crêpe. Food Appetizer — nah Main Course — I had the Poulet Legume which is on their Savory menu. The best way I can describe this Crêpe is that it is a pancake omelet, just replace the eggs with the thin pancake. The Poulet Legume has a trio of cheeses, bell peppers(the oranges today), fresh chopped basil, diced chicken the menu says shredded but it did not matter. Dessert — They do have plenty to choose from. But the Poulet Legume was plenty for me. Service — Our cashier was friendly and working hard as she cooked the crêpe too. Future — If I need to eat at the food court again they are at the top of the list of places now.
