I finally have gotten to try Mi Casa after hearing so many things about it! We came here for my friends going away party, and they accommodated our group by putting us in a room with a bunch of tables, as our plan was just to hangout at the bar! That was super nice! I can’t speak for the meals here, as my group came to take advantage of the buy a margarita pitcher and get a free appetizer special they have. The margaritas were so good! They have tons of different flavors like mango, peach, etc. I had the peach and the mango margarita and wowza they are good and pack a punch! For the appetizers they offer two things: nachos and quesadilla. I tried one of each! Nachos were average, but frankly if you’re getting drunk they taste great! The quesadillas were not bad at all, nothing to go home and tell mom about, but still a good way to fill the tummy! Overall, I will come here again to enjoy this great deal they have!

Never had a bad experience at Mi Casa. They have the best salsa and margaritas!

Still a pretty good restaurant. The chimichangas are awesome. Their salsa rocks. The service is good and often faster than you expect. Avoid the super nachos. The chorizo gravy stuff they put on them looks like it should coming out and doesn’t taste any better. Other than that, you’ll be happy you ate here.

Mi Casa Too is your average Mexican restaurant with standard menu offerings and average prices. The food is pretty good and the service is fine. Mi Casa Too really is «A-OK.» If I really crave Mexican food, it is likely that I’ll go somewhere else instead because there really are a lot of options in the Reno/Sparks area. The food is of average quality, which may be fine for you. However, if I’m choosing to go out and spend $ 12+ per dish, I’d much rather go to a place with great quality food. I’ve never seen Mi Casa Too busy so it is almost guaranteed you’ll be seated right away and have pretty good service.

Worse food I have EVER eaten. Ordered the Mexican pizza and almost threw up after a few bite. There’s far better«Mexican» restaurants anywhere .in the whole world. but here.

Best Mexican food in Reno! Recent change of ownership was beneficial. They have great food and great service! I would highly recommend this restaurant if your looking for great authentic Mexican food! Dismiss other bad Unilocal reviews!

Decent margaritas, subpar food. I ordered the Mexican pizza and it was a plate of food completely masked by a half inch thick layer of cheese. Seriously I was so upset with this inedible plate of melted cheese. Additionally, our waters were not refilled for the entire course of our meal. When we were eagerly ready to leave this establishment, the people working the register took about 15 – 20 minutes to split our check, something restaurants shouldn’t have an issue with. At the end of the day, I would’ve been much more content eating at Taco Bell and spending a fraction of the price.

This place feels like home. When I think comfort food I think this place! I have been going here since i was literally in diapers. The staff here knows me and my family and are the best! The food here is delicious, the portions are great and the prices are affordable. I recommend the fajitas. They are packed full of delicious veggies, beans and rice. Oh, also don’t come here without ordering a margarita! But make sure you’ve got a designated driver because these suckers are strong! Overall, great family spot that I will always adore, and you should too.

pros: bar, lots of seating Cons: food, lighting, booths, price, menu, and did i mention food One of the greatest perks of living near the west coast is our Mexico neighbors. Delicious food and rich culture. On the menu at Micasa Too, it reads«since 1975.» Judging by the location(west 4th st.) and atmosphere, I would assume that back in 1975 there was not very many Mexican restaurants for Micasa to compete with. Unfortunately they have done nothing in the last 35 years to compete with the new market. I have been going to Micasa Too forever, it could have even been my first experience at a Mexican restaurant and that’s the reason I keep returning. Not any longer. The place is in some serious need of makeover. Everything inside seems very outdated. The dining areas are very dark. The darkness is broken up with lights that dangle above each booth. The contrast in darkness to the individual lighting makes you feel like you are eating inside of a tanning booth. It is hard to look up while eating because you are staring directly into sun. Not allowing customers to look up, is really a disadvantage to this business because, now the people are forced to stare in disappointment at their food. I ordered an appetizer of «special nachos» at $ 10, which was said to include: ground beef, chorizo, jalapeño, and whole bunch of other ingredients. The nachos were an absolute let down. When they arrived at our table my first reaction was that they must have mistakenly brought us the wrong food. The nachos looked as if they had dumped some chips on a plate then poured a can of re-fried beans over the top, and finally overcooked the dished. I had to ask 3 different people about what was going on before somebody finally had an answer. Me: I think that we may have gotten the wrong food, we ordered the special nacho Server: That is the special nacho Me: Umm, I think that it is missing a bunch of ingredients in that case Server: Looks like everything is there Me: I don’t see any ingredients at all(as I am lifting each chip to show there is nothing hiding underneath) Server: What we do is, in the morning the chef takes all the ingredients and puts them in a blender so that we can put it on the nacho’s later in the day, so i promise that they are all there. Its just blended. Not wanting to eat the Nacho’s, I ordered a fajita burrito. The burrito was alright but for the price, certainly was nothing special. This appears to be the common theme at this restaurant, nothing special. If time and Unilocal hasn’t taught Mi Casa Too any lessons thus far, it likely never will. Sometimes you can’t teach an old dog new tricks and for that reason, I have to say adiós to Mi Casa. I will continue my love for Mexican food elsewhere.

I love the Lunch Specials! Just the right amount of food for those of us who just can’t do huge portions. Chicken quesidilla is to die for. My son has the pork burrito smothered in green sauce-YUM. We’ve tried the flavored margaritas and the peach is better than strawberry, believe it or not. I accidentally marked no table service but they have a wonderful wait staff.

This is one of the first Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. I remember I ordered a quesadilla or a chalupa. either way, it was slothered in cheese, so it’s all good. They give you salsa and chips as an appetizer, which is always a good way to start off a Mexican meal– they’re so good that you have to be careful not to fill up on them before your meal! They’re very generous with their serving size as well. I only finished half of what I ordered. You can definitely share an entrée with a friend if you’re not too hungry. Service has been quick when I’ve gone. Solid restaurant!

This place used to be great about 2 years ago. We waited forever to be serviced. the margaritas were super sugary .the salsa they brought for the chips was super watery like as If it came out of a can. Disappointing. We left without ordering

I love Mexican food. Here the service was good, but the food was only mediocre. We got the wings for an appetizer, they had a definite buffalo taste, but with added chili taste. The sauce wasn’t bad, but the wings themselves were not my favorite. I ordered a Chimichonga. It was crispy, the waiter said it was best with shredded beef, so I got it with shredded beef. It wasn’t bad, but I probably would not order it again. The beans and rice were average. I did like the crunch on the chimichonga. It was good. The service was very nice, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. I would probably give them another shot.

Went here for the 1st time, and we were very happy about the experience. We sat at the bar… Nice Bar. The Margaritas we were served were large and strong. I counted about 100 different bottle of tequila… No draft beer but whatever with Margaritas like that. We also had Carna Asada tacos, Awesome. I don’t usually give 5 stars after only 1 visit but I was Very happy when I left this place. Location isn’t great but it’s actually pretty close to downtown and the freeway, and there plenty of parking.

As far as Reno Mexican restaurants goes, I like them… Tasty chips and salsa(all you can eat with no extra«hidden» charge for a refill)! Good food and drinks at a decent price(and for those who say it is too expensive, come on a McNugget meal at McDonalds costs 7+ dollars!). Moreover, they have great customer service! e.g. they made me a special extra spicy salsa on my birthday, free of charge.
