$ 1 tacos on Tuesdays. Great deal! Try the carnitas. The staff was very pleasant. Food was ready in no time. Add to my Tuesday lunch rotation.

Decent fast food tacos but the Guac? Weird soupy watery instead of a creamy dip? Yuck! Otherwise filled the craving for generic tacos on the slightly more authentic than Taco Bell tip.

A must go to place for tacos and asada fries. Comparable to San Diego fare and even better at the Prayer location. The al pastor is slow cooked on a vertical spit and as confirmed by my friends that originate from Mexico, th8s is the most authentic tacos in Reno! They do cater to the Casino and offer Nachos and Sliders but this joint has it all eve n late!

Seriously the most disgusting mexican food I have ever eaten. It was cold and slimy. Gross! We had to get our money back on 2 meals as they were messed up twice. Upgrade your drink for $ 1.25 but don’t except refills. Cold hard chips all busted up. No refills. Yuck! I still have the taste in my mouth. Avoid at all costs the chili relleno!

No, no, no, no, no. After driving 10 hours, we consulted Unilocal and decided on this place. It was the most disgusting Mexican food we’ve ever had. I had the torta supreme with al pastor and my husband had a chicken enchilada & carnitas taco. As I write this, I’m queasy remembering the fat globs of Chinese bbq pork disguised as al pastor. It was red fat blobs and a mound of iceberg lettuce. The beans that accompanied the enchilada/taco combo were the only mildly palatable thing on the plate. The only pro was that it was inside The Sands. Seriously people, this place was awful.

I’m from Las Vegas and at the swap meet we have some of the BEST al pastor tacos, so when I moved to Reno I was disappointed at the lack of real fire roasted al pastor. HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised to find this little restaurant inside the Sands Casino. Not only are most of their items fairly priced, but they are delicious as well. The al pastor is not cooked on a fire, but it is roasted on a rotating spit, which makes all the difference from chopping it up and cooking it in a pan. The tacos were so good and the other food looked yummy too! Although the location is crappy, the food is delish if you’re looking to get your Mexican food fix.

Cheap food done well! The street tacos are a great deal here and mighty tasty. Though I’d pass on the carnitas tacos… meat incredibly dry and tasteless. Shrimps tacos-great Chicken tacos– great El pastor tacos– delicious If your in the Sands with only a few bucks or a hankering for tacos… this is the place!

This place is the bomb! Doesn’t get much better for Mexican food in Reno. I first tried them at a Cinco De Mayo fair at the GSR in 2014& fell in love with it. Little did I know, they’re located inside the Sands Casino, just a couple of blocks away from me! Great tacos — definitely a must if you’re into Mexican food.

I automatically deducting a star for the placement of this place– it’s in a D-List hotel casino in Reno– it also has a décor straight out of a Del Taco. That being said the tacos here were quite good. I was impressed with their steak tacos– good tortillas– excellent meat– fresh salsa– and good prices. All in all if you’re staying at the Sands– it’s a winner. If you’re not-don’t hurt yourself to get here. It’s very tasty though.

The breakfast burrito is LEGIT. I’ve never tried it until now because $ 7 seemed pricey. But it comes with a big helping of rice, beans, cheese and pico de gallo on the side, plus the burrito is no rice filler, just fresh bell peppers, eggs, your choice of machaca or chorizo and a little pinto beans and pico. And you can get them on Sundays for $ 5! Put one in your face.

Not bad if you can’t drive somewhere. Good size plate for kids. Expensive for the quality you receive. The staff is very friendly. Biggest problem for this place is the location and the rift raft that comes in and out of the casino area. Very shady in my opinion

I love this place! The food was delicious. I ordered chilaquiles which weren’t as good as homemade but still really good. It was cheap and yummy. I will be coming back for sure.
