First time here &ITWASAMAZING! Ordered the Torta & Nachos & Soda combo for $ 9.99, It was worth the price. The Torta was delicious and the Nachos served as an appetizer. My sister ordered a Carne Asada Burrito & Ohh My Gosh! It was HUGE! It’s filled with rice, beans, cheese, your type of meat, lettuce, & sour cream. It was so delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

A hidden gem here in Reno & a must try. Had the chico nachos, grilled chicken quesadilla(for the kiddos), and chicken burrito. They grill their chicken on the spot, which you don’t find these days. A winner for me and the family. Will definitely done here again when in Reno!

Agree with others, don’t be put off by the location or appearance. Ordered the Mariachi torta. Combo comes with small nachos and drink. The carnitas in my torta was very dry and hard, little pieces that I thought at first were bacon bits. Very disappointing and I would not order again. BTW… the nachos, at least what was included with my combo, are what I call«ballpark or gas station» nachos, packaged chips and a liquid cheese flavored product on top. Overall I found it a poor value for the money, especially the 1.99 charge for avocado on my sandwich. I could barely find it. I may go back again just to try something different and see if it’s the same low quality. Too bad, I wanted to like this place as I like to support local businesses.

Tried this place for the first time last week and was pretty impressed! The service was great and speedy! I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was far more than I was expecting! It was packed with lots of chicken and delicious melted cheese with sour cream on the side and salsa. Definitely would recommend! I then came back a week later with some friends to try some more food. I got some chicken nachos that were delicious and good sized portion. My friend got a chorizo torta and was in LOVE with it! He said it was the best ever and he would definitely love to go back! Definitely recommend this place.

Looks are deceiving at this place. Menu was overwhelming and was confusing cause it was mostly in Spanish. But the lady helped us figure out want to order and omg, it was super delicious.

This simple little place puts out a killer torta with a bonus side of excellent service! This time I got the Canadiense, pork loin & melted cheese with lettuce, tomatoes, and red onion. The pork was tasty and tender and the produce was fresh. The flavors all blended together for a very filling and satisfying meal. I ate half of it as soon as I got home. When I ate more of it was not because I was real hungry but because I wanted to taste it some more. If you have not tried them yet you really should get in and give them a shot. Yep, I am hooked! Yes I absolutely recommend them!

I has some meetings downtown here and I was with some co-workers and we just wanted some lunch that wasn’t a hassle to get to. Well, we’re across the street and I see this authentic looking Mexican restaurant in a not so great part of downtown Reno. Compared to Oakland, this ain’t bad though. We jay walk across the street and go on in. The place is very clean and sanitary looking. Just a place for a quick lunch, not for client meetings. We all had the burrito special for $ 6.50 or so. Mine was steak as was another guy’s and the other had chili verde. We sat on the somewhat smallish tables by the window and observed the interesting street life going by. I think the cashier is the cook and server as well in this tiny place. Our food arrives in not much time. The burrito is not super huge like some places where I can’t finish, but ot was OK sized. What was interesting about the prep, was after the burrito is wrapped, it gets fried brown on one side to give a little crunch to the tortilla… I liked that part! I was more or less a basic steak burrito with beans and rice and a little lettuce inside. We got the roasted peppers salsa which was really good and had a smoky tinge to it. All an all a good place for a quick lunch if you’re in the area. I might not make a special trip to eat here, but if you’re nearby it’s a good choice.

Very good service and authentic food. Very resonable price. My quesadilla was only $ 5.99 for a large person. They use the Mexican melting cheese.

The service was great and the people were friendly. Good place to stop by if you are craving some tortas. All run about $ 7.99-$ 8.99 or $ 9.99 for a meal. Its located across the street from Eldorado’s casino.

If you are looking for a late night snack, come see Tortas El Mariachi in Reno, Nevada and THEYAREOPENLATE! 1 – 2AM late! They have aguas frescas, the best torta bread and the freshest veggies you can ask for, lettuce, tomato, onion, pineapple, etc. The staff is friendly, the place is spotless clean and they have Mexican coke in the bottle! If you can walk there, as parking on Fourth Street is extremely limited. Their main restaurant is Anna’s Mexican Grill on Fourth Street and McCarran.
