You guys — the brew bike is SO much fun! With some loud music, flashing lights, and tons of laughter, you’re definitely drawing a lot of attention to yourself. Ya, you feel a little funny, you get some weird looks, cars stuck behind you are a little annoyed, but then there’s the other people that wave and get into the fun that you’re having. I lucked out on not having to peddle much. The little I did wasn’t too bad, but I definitely was not wearing the best shoes for it. Some people looked a little exhausted after peddling from 1st Street up to Under the Rose. It was nice to get a discount at the places that the brew bike has partnered with. Tap house is an oldie, but a goody. I had never been to Under the Rose before, so it was cool to check it out finally. And our last stop(The Depot) wasn’t a partner, so no discount. It was pretty busy in there, so the group kind of had to break apart and find spots to stand around since there were no open tables. Kind of a bummer that we couldn’t bring drinks on the bike, but rules are rules I guess. I would not hesitate for a second to do the brew bike again. Thanks Paul for a super fun night!

As always, Paul S. hits it out of the park with his UYE Beer event! The Reno Brew Bike is a fun and interactive way to cruise between a few stops and enjoy a pint. We had a great time pedaling around downtown and providing amazing Instagram and Youtube moments for the dazed and confused passerby. I wish we could have hit up another pub or brewery, but an awesome time was had by all, nonetheless! Thanks again Paul for a truly memorable night!

Whoop whoop! Reno Brew Bike is a blast! Great idea and a really fun way to spend an evening with friends. You board the bike and pedal from brewery to brewery enjoying a drink at each stop. Tunes are cranked while on the bike putting everyone in a party mood. Thanks for the great jams Dale G! People wave and hoot at you as you seat dance along on the bike ride. Total fun! Everyone should give this a try, you will have such a great time!

Sept. 11, 2015 Friday — 6:45PM for a ride 13 Unilocalers and friends Atmosphere — 5stars Stops — 5 stars Service — 5 stars Background — A beer bike, the beer club has to try it. I wanted to hit three breweries but based on time constraints and distances, only two worked out. The website actually has a list of stops that you might want to hit and in order. Atmosphere — A bike that has a driver and 15 riders. 10 peddlers and 3 on the back bench and 2 bike seat spots over the rear wheels. Our group had 13 people that worked out well. Would have loved if we sold out the bike of course. Dale supplied the music and bike was like a dance club with all the strobing colored lights. I think people heard us before they saw us. I do not know how Michelle broke the bike but she lost the pedal and the crank. Okay they detached from the bike somehow. I had jump off the back bench after we stopped to hunt down the pedal and the crank. At least she broke the bike on 4th Street and it was not so crowded like 1st Street. I got to pedal the way back, it was really easy until Brad had to point out that I was pedaling the wrong way. How did I do that, okay two stops into the journey might explain it. Pedal the right way was not that bad. Stops Sierra Tap House — Sierra Nevada beer oh yeah. I got one of the tap beers, Red Hot Metal IPA. I could have drank that the whole night. Under the Rose — I was gonna go with the Nevadabeer but the keg filled the last glass right before me. I went with the Porter after that and excellent choice. The Depot — Been a while since I been here and now they have larger variety of beers. I went with the Trekker, an IPL, an India Pale Lager. I like that they added some beers into the collection. Service — All the bars were great. Duke helped me set up and blocked off the bike for the night for the Beer Club. But clearly the star of the night was our driver. In and out traffic without fear. Must people had a blast seeing us, waving, cheering, hooting and hollering. Future — This will be part of the rotation for the UYE Beer Club.
