I work at the airport and I’ve been there a few times… I’m never super impressed with the coffee. Customer service is very hit or miss. This week I was planning on buying coffee and a pastry and was waiting in line, the lady in front of me was done but was still repacking up her purse so I didn’t rush to the register. The customer service with dark curly hair looked right at me and said ‘hellllooooooo’ so I let her know why I was waiting snd she just rolled her eyes. Really rude. The other lady was still putting away her wallet. I decided to just get ice and haven’t been back.

The coffee was absolutely delicious! However, the staff was moving very slowly so it took forever to get that delicious coffee. I’ve been here several times and this has always been the case. The staff was not rude or nice, you could tell they were just clocked in trying to get through their shift. I definitely prefer Peet’s coffee to Starbucks though.

is it possible to give no stars? This is for the Peet’s that is located in arrivals, before the car rental counters. I was the only one in the café, 2 employees who took a full 11 minutes to whip out a salted caramel latte, that is prominently advertised on their counter top. They didnt know how to make it and had to look up & locate ingredients. And then claimed the caramel as well as the whip cream was«out». After making the half-ass beverage and taking my $ 5.99.

You’re facing 18 hours of air travel, it’s the ass crack of dawn, you’re about to enter security and face either the world’s nicest or stupidest TSA agents(you never know), and you just need something to power you through the first hour until your brain starts to perk up. Why yes, I’d love to get a cup of joe. Service was just okay — I kind of equate coffee shops with perky baristas and here, they looked like they just rolled out of bed and came to work — which, honestly, they probably did since it’s early in the morning. Not a bad thing, not a great thing, just okay.

Hmmm. I know more than a few people who swear by Peet’s Coffee. I’ve had some in Berkeley and I kind of thought, «Why are people waiting in line for this?» It’s OK, not great. Nothing to get super excited about. I’ve had some in the Raley’s stores where they have in-store Peet’s coffee stands, and again, sort of blah. And, I might add, I LOVE coffee. I’m waiting at the airport, and I decide to try a Peet’s cappuccino while waiting for a flight. McDonald’s was my first choice(cheap, hot, caffeinated) but I didn’t want to walk ½ a mile around the airport. Everything seemed to go OK, nice kid who took my order. There was one customer ahead of me, and I waited patiently, all the while checking for incoming flights. He offers me my drink, and says, «You ordered a medium mocha, right?» I said, «No, it was a cappuccino,» and he said, «Oh, I gave your drink to the guy ahead of you,» and threw the mocha down the drain. I said, «What about the poor guy who is now drinking a cappuccino?» He laughed and said,“You had a small cappuccino, right?“ OK…seriously??? There were three customers in a 15 minute period at this Peet’s. Not that confusing unless you have a concussion or head trauma. Honest to goodness, I think I could have jumped over the counter and made the coffee for everyone faster. I had to check the flights again and when I returned, the Peet’s barista had prepared a lukewarm cappuccino for my gustatory pleasure. All for the low price of $ 4.50! I had to run as the plane I was awaiting for arrived. I should have asked for a comp drink after such a fiasco. I guess when your customers are coming and going there’s no need to perform minimal customer service. I think Peet’s is permanently off my list of coffee options. Whatever the magic Peet’s holds for their fans, is FLAT for this coffee fanatic.

Seriously, mom. I don’t mind walking you into the terminal. Let me carry your bag to security. What? A finski for the parking garage? Don’t mind if I do… Take care, have a good flight. *Hugs mom, sprints to Peete’s coffee.* I know, I know… This is the kind of deceitful and shady behavior usually exhibited by a meth addict. But you coffee drinkers who take it black understand this shady behavior. You’ve gotta get your fix and you won’t get it at the Bucks or 7 – 11. Peete’s has an unbeatable flavor that makes other fast-coffee taste like compost fodder. There’s no need to dress it up with cream and sugar, Peete’s flavor stands on its own. I hate bashing Starbucks but sometimes their coffee has a burnt acidic flavor and if you take it black it puts a little too much hair on the chest. Peete’s is so much smoother but without being weak. It’s still bold and flavorful and makes my palms sweaty just thinking about it. Confession: My mania goes even deeper than I first mentioned. I’ll pick up anyone and drop off anyone and I’ll see them safely to security, then it’s a B-line straight to Peete’s. Soooo, anybody need a lift to the airport? Anybody?

Coffee was perfect! What can you really say about a cup of coffee? It was hot, it was black and it was not given a special name! It’s coffee enjoy it! Brownie was soft and was just what I needed for a sugary pick me up. Surprisingly soft for it being in a package so it did impress. Young kid behind the counter seemed a little over whelmed since there was only one person working. I guess they have budget cuts. Lol. He was very sweet!

Surprisingly good airport coffee shop. The breakfast panini was significantly higher quality than what I expected, if they’d had hot sauce and ketchup it would have been downright indulgent! The barista got my coffee order very, very wrong but that’s okay, I mumble and it was busy. Whatever frozen coffee thing I did get was tasty, but made me feel a bit like a 13 year old trying to hide the coffee flavor under copious volumes of cream and sugar.

Call me insane, but since we only have one Peet’s in Reno, every time I get a craving for it I have to go to airport. Thankfully they validate my short term parking! Boomtown is Verdi, not Reno. Spanish Springs is also not Reno.

I love Peets coffee! I’m glad they chose Peets over Starbucks to service this airport. If you going thru security you can buy a cup at the bakery upstairs, they also make espresso drinks if you desire.

Typical Peet’s offerings just a little smaller since it’s inside the Reno airport. Line moves quick and the service was friendly.
