This is our favorite restaurant to go eat at. My husband is pretty frugal with his money(to say the least), so we do not get to eat out very much. However, my Husband, 3 kids and I all really love the food! Sue was my favorite server, but unfortunately she left(I think — we only go there on Sunday nights). I have to be Gluten Free because I have Celiacs Disease and because of this I am not able to go to many different places. However, I have never been glutened even once here. Love the food, service is very good and we eat there at least 2 times a month. Thank you.

This is my favorite Phở restaurant in my neck of the woods. Everything is always tasty and the staff is friendly every time. We went here the other night for a quick, light dinner around 7:30 and it was quiet. The owner was sweeping and over hearing our conversation about their new boba tea offerings and started to answer questions we had about various menu items. They have a wide variety of options on the menu ranging from pad Thai to vegetarian. I got the phở with prawns in veggie broth with rice noodles and it was delicious! I highly recommend trying Phở, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing food, great service, and an all around awesome establishment. My favorite restaurant in Reno. Highly recommend!

I have been to this place about a year ago and they were good, but since the new owners took over, it seems like the quality of food has gone down. The vegetables weren’t fresh. I had to pick out the brown old pieces. I had maybe only 3 pieces of sliced meat in my phở soup. The taste wasn’t as good as it used to be. I liked eating here because the location was convenient and the food was good, but now I’ll have to drive a few more miles into town to get some decent phở. I’ve been there a couple times just to see if it was just a one time occurrence of bad food but that wasn’t the case. Too bad. The service was good though. Just wish they used fresher vegetables.

Every time I go here, I get the #30! It is one of the best things in the world! The curry fried rice is yummy as well but the #30 is my favorite! The service is excellent and they make you feel welcome, no matter how busy they are!

EXTREMELYSLOWSERVICE! Food is mediocre. It took them 20 minutes to bring us 2 waters, another 5 minutes for my hot tea, another 10 – 15 minutes to bring 2 boba drinks. My husband ordered a Vietnamese ice coffee. They do it the old school«drip» way. They brought his Vietnamese ice coffee out, when we were basically done eating, ANDNOTEVENMADE! it took another 10 minutes to get the finished product. Needless to say, they received no tip.

So I decided to update my review for this place. They have new owners and it shows in their food. A step up. The only downside, is my orders still get messed up. While the servers are nice and like to do small talk, I feel they should focus on getting my orders right.

This place is my «go-to.» I live fairly far away and this is who I call for Phở take out. Their staff is super friendly and they always agree to my strange orders and extras that I ask for. I would classify myself as a «high maintenance» phở person and they make it happen for me!

Best Phở in Reno, Nevada, hands down. While that is the only thing I have ever ordered here(I am vegan and love Phở), I always come back because it’s so incredible. The broth is far superior than any other Phở restaurant I’ve ever been to and the service is wonderful. Super friendly staff, super fast, and super cheap(under $ 20 for two people, including tip)!

Phở-nominal! Service was outstanding, and the Phở was more that delicious! A Reno area must try if you are in the mood for some Phở or good Vietnamese food. Small but clean, and great staff!

Went here with an old friend on Thursday, 3÷3÷16, for lunch. I’ve been here a few times before & I LOVE it. My buddy wasn’t familiar with Vietnamese Phở and it was a new experience for him. He also thought it was great. This is my new go-to for Phở in the area. As much as I like Golden Flower & Phở 777(& they’re great), the depth of the broth and the quantity(& quality) of the meat is even better than those other places! Everything on the menu looks great, but, I can’t ever seem to get past the #1 large Phở($ 8.75). My buddy had the #2 large Phở($ 8.50)…he’s not a fan of tripe or the other meats that accompany the Rare Steak in the #1. We also ordered a 33 beer($ 4.25) each… my fave Vietnamese beer… clean & crisp… perfect compliment to the food. I could eat here anytime and be perfectly satisfied… great food, great service & a great price for an amazing quantity of food. Check it out… you won’t be disappointed!!!

How disappointing, this place used to be my favorite phở restaurant and now something has changed! The veggies used to be fresh and delicious and now they taste frozen. The portions half cut back to half the size and the springrolls are 80% iceberg lettuce and 20% rice noodle and tofu. Where is the flavor?! So sad but I’m not going back here…

«Si fueris Rōmae…» At a place called Phở, the natural decision would be to get phở, right? WRONG! Phở and its simplicity are undeniably great: easy comfort food, miraculous hangover cure. But America’s «phở-naticism» sadly leaves so many other Viet staples on the backburner. Which is why I’ve started a separatist movement on behalf of phở’s spicy sister… Bun Bo Hue. I like my broth with a kick of fire. Meals with good heat always keep you on your toes. After reading a few reviews that hinted at a tamer broth for the Bun Bo Hue, I asked them to turn up the heat for me. Extra chili oil: check. I was feeling even more adventurous as it came out, and I dashed in a heaping helping of chili sauce from the table. This, my friends, was a prime example of human hubris. The spice was there from the getgo; first slurp was an experience — an awakening, if you will. Great, exciting heat. Everything was going swimmingly until I gulped down a HUGE spoonful laced with extra seeds and potent flakes and felt a scorch like no other. As luck would have it, this happened only moments before our waiter swung by for refills, and I cannot properly articulate the look of abject worry on his face as he came back to find me smiling through sweat, heavy breathing, and welling tears in my eyes. Don’t let this deter you from trying this soup, though! I was actually perfectly fine aside from that one tragicomic moment and kept up with the spice for the rest of the meal; besides, a little party(and sweat) never killed nobody. Just don’t indulge in the same masochistic request for extra chili oil, and you’re in for a wild ride of good flavor. Minor complaints: wish they were a bit more generous with the noodles so that I wouldn’t be left with a crazy amount of broth at the end. Still a tasty bite… with a punch! Notably, this place is very accommodating to specifics in requests, even making a made to order beef Mi Xao Don for our table. Great cam vat(orange juice), too! Juiced in house. Appetizers were good but not the best I’ve had; wings and rolls got the job done. Top notch wait service; great, flexible staff. Most definitely will be back for more vermicelli goodness.

Phở The Good: The first experience of Phở! I ever had. I been coming to this location for about the past 1.5 years. The first few times I came to this location the food was Great! Service was Outstanding! An the owner was very welcoming, an it was a nice place for lunch and Dinner. I Love! the Number #9 Rare Beef & Beef Brisket! It was at a(5 out of 5 Stars) but… The Bad: Now after my past few experience there as of late. I feel the quality of the food is slowly going down, when ordering my food the last time, I got the same plate #9 and for a dish thats suppose to have full flavor, I seriously for a piece of Rare beef, an two slices of brisket, as well as a lack of noodles. As well as the atmosphere is something else, ive felt rushed a few times. After receiving my food, the same waiter would already be coming by with the check then a few min later your asked for a to go container. Review Update 03÷03÷16 Today went there for lunch to just see if things have changed since my last visit, and wanted to give the restaurant one more chance before i decide on going elsewhere. Well the staff has been a little better on being more attentive and other then that the food is just gone down hill, I ordered the usual and still the same thing as my last review. Rare Beef and Brisket, One piece of each and just a lack of noodles. Sorry but i may just have to go somewhere else in the future. There are many good things there but the food isnt one of them. If you are charging your customers that kind of money you should really give them what they pay for, so in the mean time i am looking else where. Changed the 4 stars to 1 star.

My husband and I have been very frequent customers of Phở for the past few years and the past 6 months have been awful. My last experience was uncomfortable because the new owner was lounging at the table next to us watching tv did not greeting us or other customers as only one employee was taking orders, serving, and cashiering. Very sad to see the good customer service and tasty food disappear.

I came in here for a quick lunch with a co-worker. For some reason it just felt like a good day for Viet noodles or Phở. It was about half filled with customers, but we still got a nice table and the service was fast and efficient. Just water for drinks this time. I decided on the #25 Bun Thit Heo Nuong, Grilled pork over rice noodles(mai fun)($ 7.95) and my friend had the #29 Beef and Onions Stir fry over Vermicelli Noodles, except with chicken instead of beef.($ 8.25). The food came out pretty fast, these guys hustle! My dish was as expected, but had a lot of cilantro in it. I like cilantro, but not with the stems still all attached. I pulled the leaves and set aside the stems. The pork had a good grilled flavor and there was an adequate amount, not generous, but not skimpy either. There were lots of rice noodles, more than I could really eat. My friend’s chicken dish with onions looked better than mine and as I tasted it, I decided I’m gettin’ that one next time! She was squealing how good it was … OK, my turn next time. The interior is nicer than many of the hole in the wall Viet places and located in a modern shopping center in South Reno. It was a good location for me and I’ll return again. The prices seem pretty much in line with all the Viet places in town, but this is a nicer interior and the parking is totally easy.

This time I tried their phở. I chose the beef flank, beef meatballs in a small size. My husband ordered the chowfun. And we ordered appetizer the chicken wings. The phở was yummy, the broth was flavorful and rich. The beef and meatball was plenty. And noodle was perfect. The chicken wings were average, good but nothing special. Fried perfect & crunchy. but i didn’t really the dipping sauce. My husband’s food was kinda meh. Kinda bland when I tasted it. I told him not to order Chinese food at Vietnamese restaurant and he agreed. Service was nice and friendly as usual. Price is average.

I dined alone for lunch during the week at 2pm. The restaurant is very small with twelve or so tables inside and a handful on the back patio. When I arrived the restaurant was half full, yet the waitresses were hustling. I noticed that myself and the neighboring tables waited at least five to six minutes to place our orders. Though I did not require any additional service during my meal, I will note that I was never checked on until the bill was delivered to my table. I ordered the tofu spring rolls as an appetizer and was surprised when they were delivered to my table about ten minutes later at the exact same time as my bowl of soup. I had hoped to receive them before, hence ordering them as an appetizer. Something was different about the peanut dipping sauce this time. I order this appetizer nearly every time I dine here and I have never remembered the peanut sauce to be so thin, lackluster, and bland. The sauce was so disappointing I had to mix it with a hefty helping of sriracha chili sauce to give it flavor. Sadly, the soup broth shared the same lifeless flavor as the peanut sauce. I ordered a #13, which has a chicken broth base with noodles, assorted vegetables, and tofu. I had to add a significant amount of sriracha sauce to this dish as well to make the broth savory enough to eat. When eating here I always find myself hoping for a more distinctive and zesty broth without having to season it so much with the sauces on the table. I am struggling between a three and three-and-a-half star rating. The location is convenient and I often find myself stopping in for a quick bite before my visit to Target, but I dislike the panhandlers who seem to be permanent fixtures in the parking lot wielding bottles of windex asking to clean your windshield. I have been here at least a dozen times over the past few years, and while the food is always quick and filling, I still find myself searching elsewhere for an impressive, authentic phở restaurant.

This place is decent. Their broth is good, but I’ve had more flavorful broth. They do serve very hearty portions so that’s a plus, especially if you want a good bargain! I’m giving them three stars based on food alone. However, I must say that I didn’t particularly enjoy their service. While we were there, we were given the check even before we were halfway through our meal. They said, «No rush, «but obviously being given the check means otherwise. At first we continued with our meal, but about ten minutes later, we were asked if we wanted to to go bowls(uh, we’re still in the process of eating). I was a little peeved at this point, so I asked what time they close because I didn’t want to be rude by keeping them. But apparently they close at least an hour later so I didn’t get why they were rushing us so much! Then five minutes later, we were asked again if we were done. Ridiculous service! I’m not docking any stars based on service, but I wanted to post it on here so that hopefully management can address it. No costumer wants to be rushed, especially when the place is pretty empty and not after hours.
