I love them. I have come here somewhat regularly for the past 6 years(since I first moved to Reno), and they remember me every time I walk through the door. It’s so sweet and the food always hits the spot!

I was in Reno for a week on business and I discovered this place on my last day there. I wish I would have discovered it on my first day! The food was so good and I couldn’t believe how big the portions were. Waitress was very friendly and able to answer all of my questions as this was my first time eating at a Vietnamese restaurant.

Disappointed, but somewhat expected. My combination phở was below average – and I eat lots of phở in my life. The chow fun and beef fried rice was good, but nothing special. I wished I had gone to a Thai restaurant or somewhere else. Price was also higher than the other phở restaurant two blocks across. Three stars for me minus one for our waitress spilling cups of water in front of us and onto my skirt, and minus another star for not washing her hands after wiping the floor and then went to refill the ice and water. Gross! Be warned. Will never come back.

Food is still OK, but they’re charging way more than I remember now. Also seem to be going real hard with the«liquid smoke» on that BBQ pork as my poo smelled like straight-up jet fuel the next morning

The fresh shrimp/pork spring rolls were superb, even when compared with the Bay Area. Rice skin was perfect too. I had the Vietnamese shrimp salad — huge amount, pretty good for Reno. No ambiance here, but great value for the money. I will return for sure!

Delicious chow fun. Excellent service. Spring rolls lacking fresh herbs, but peanut sauce makes up for it.

Below average! Disappointed but not very disappointed bc I wasn’t expecting much anyways. Hole in the wall spots are usually the best places to go but that wasn’t the case this time. I won’t be returning.

I ate here twice, and both times I thought it was fine! I had vegetarian stuff on both my visits — bún and spring rolls. The veggie bún in particular was fuckign amazing — lots of fresh, crunchy veggies. My friend had beef phở and beef & broccoli… which she said were also great. Atmo is less minimalist than expected, and staff was friendly enough. Only complaint is that they close at 9pm — so early! I really only came here because it was convenient to my hotel(across from Silver Legacy). But it was good enough that I would def come here again… if staying nearby.

Gross. Customer service needs a lot of help. The lady was rude and I called her out but was nice about it she was caught off guard, but someone had to tell her. The water was gross, the soup was tasteless, the desert did not look like the picture(not even close) and the workers were rude.

If you’re expecting Bay Area quality phở, this place would be considered«good». However, this is Reno we’re talking about, so this place by that standard is GREAT!!! Whenever I decide to waste a few hours playing slots in Reno and I get a bit hungry, I always bypass the crappy casino diners in favor of some delicious Reno phở! The flavor profile of this establishment is definitely tailored to its regular clientele, which means the phở broth is milder and a bit bland and the spring rolls lack any of those wonder herbs that give spring rolls such a kick. However, the service is snappy and the waiters are friendly, so I’m always happy to come in for a quick lunch or snack. On my last visit, I ordered the spring rolls and the 3-colored bean shaved ice(che 3 mau). The spring rolls only had lettuce, vermicelli, and shrimp. No pork cake, no chives, no mint. :(The che 3 mau was pretty good, although it’s a little hard to mess up a concoction with only 4 ingredients. Whoever thought to put a phở restaurant across the street from a busy casino is a genius!

The worst phở I have ever tasted. I call this the tap water phở. If tap water and real phở were combined this is what you would’ve been served. The first bite I took was SO disappointing. I put loads of sriracha and hoisin sauce just to minimize the tap water taste. This was also so salty it made my lips hurts. The waiter was really friendly though. We had to change our order a couple of times because we ordered for our friends that decided to join us last minute. He was really understanding about it though. This restaurant is really close to the casinos and hotels but look for something else! Or you will regret it. You’re better off going to Starbucks or McDonalds across the street.

have frequented these guys off and on over the years and really is a crap shoot rice noodles, phở and spring rolls have been ok to me when the hankerin calls they were fairly busy this sunday eve as food came out in a timely fashion, served hot & fresh but tried the clay pot and it was awful. picked out the coconut chicken, shrooms, chestnuts and left the crunchy rice and birds eye frozen vegetable medley behind looks like back to 777 or to try golden flower next time

I rarely go to restaurants without reading their reviews first(darn you, Unilocal!) I have driven past this place a few times during my early morning downtown Reno cruises and have been curious about trying it. I peered in and saw two other customers inside. It was 5:30pm on a Wednesday. I said«screw it, I’m already here, might as well go in.» I was greeted by an employee and promptly given the menu. Thanks to OC Unilocaltern Sarah and her boo, my default phở order now is beef balls. My order came quick and I just thought it was odd that she gave me a fork. Yeahhh. I’m the kind of person that will use chopstick for everything including spaghetti and salads LOL! I tasted the broth and while it was nothing to write Little Saigon about, it wasn’t bad either. Will I ruin my Unilocal cred if I admit to overloading it with hoisin sauce anyway? I thought $ 7 was a bit pricey for a small bowl of phở but then again I’ve only been to one other Reno/Sparks phở place so I’m not sure what the pricing is like here.

Just no. Bad/non-existent service and the food was probably the worst Vietnamese I’ve had. The meat looked like it just came out the freezer and the broth in the phở was bland. They had no appetizers because they«didn’t get a chance to prepare any.» Also, it was early Sunday morning and they«ran out» of bean sprouts. Overall, just not a good experience.

Service– slow. Food– eh. One star because I was starving and anything is «good» when you’re starving. I «was» looking forward to this place because the reviews were semi-good. When the server came to set out our food I noticed a thumb in the bowl almost touching the broth. Luckily it didn’t hit the broth or it would have been game over and a returned bowl of phở. AND to top it all off there was NO appetizers because they’ve been«way too busy»!?(Too busy to make appetizers or go shopping or what…) I will never have phở in the Reno area ever again, pure disappointment.

Good food good service… when we come back to reno will stop by here again! Located right by all the hotels… The only thing is that the large looks like a small at other phở restaurants!

It was located across Circus Circus and close to downtown Reno. It provided some Vietnamese food for some Asian customer who do not want buffet and like a hot bowl of noodle soup instead. We had ordered Phở Tai large(rare steak noodle soup $ 7.95 Grill pork chop with Jasmine rice $ 9.95 Grill pork and spring roll over rice vercillia $ 8.5 Food is decent and though price is higher than Little Saigon this is Reno and near Downtown so price becomes reasonable. When we came in the restaurnat was crowded. The servers were not fast and we had to wait for a while and service was minimal. 3.5 star round it up to four.

5 stars it is! Food and location: is amazing! It’s right across the street from Silver Legacy and Circus Circus. I arrived around 7 p.m. And once I did we were the only people there. We seated ourselves and soon after the gentleman arrived with the menus. I kinda already knew what I wanted from looking at all the Unilocal reviews! Lol :-) so I asked for the spring rolls. We also noticed they had lunch and dinner deals and we were there for dinner it was $ 8.95. I ordered the lemongrass chicken which included hot and sour soup and rice. My boo ordered mangolian beef with the rice which also included the hot and sour soup. To be honest we could have shared one dinner that would have been enough for two especially since we ordered 2 servings of the spring rolls. Which I have to admit we’re very very good! They constantly checked on us and gave us water which was a big a plus! Especially since babe is a big water drinker. The restaurant was very clean which is something that I know that as soon as I walked in! We weren’t in there more than about 15 minutes and soon after more people arrived but I have to admit it’s a very big large open restaurant for them out of people that they serve probably on a daily basis. But it was very nice to walk in and be able to have a little privacy and have all the attention! They’re signs in that restaurant that reminds you to pay at the front of the cashier which they take all type of cards and cash. I couldn’t help notice that they have peppermints which was a big A+ plus as well especially because I’m a big candy eater. I have to admit that I would definitely come back again! & I have to say do not come to Reno and leave without visiting this spot!

Attentive service couldn’t save the over-salted weakly seasoned Phở broth and overcooked noodles from a Meh rating. The brisket was almost all fat but did taste good despite the lack of protein. The egg rolls were standard, seemingly from the freezer to the fryer, but I can’t be certain. Where to park wasn’t obvious, but signs inside the restaurant directed to park in a nearby hotel lot that was sanctioned. There are other options for Phở that have much tastier better developed broths with better prepared noodles.

Pretty good Phở. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and pretty clean. The service was very good they were very attentive. We had two regular bowls of Phở with rare steak, tripe, tendon, and brisket and it was really good. The broth was very tasty, not too salty, and all the usual veggies were part of the meal, green peppers, bean sprouts, parsley, limes, and fresh basil. I think it was $ 6.49 for the regular bowl. We also ordered the deep fried coconut butterflied shrimp, six in an order. Not bad. No street parking, but parked in the lot for Circus Circus. Location is great, right across the street from Silver Legacy.
