I’ve tasted microwaved pizza better than this. The sauce was generic, and the toppings were lunchable like. They drench the wings in this awful bbq and hot sauce mix that I actually had high hopes about. I will admit that I like the option of using the prices of other chain pizza places, it made it a little more cheaper for me, but still overall I was dissatisfied.

My boyfriend and I got a medium pepperoni pizza with a order of hot wings… Not even 30 minutes after eating it we both felt sick, and Im spending my night puking! Did I mention it cost us a few bucks shy of $ 30! Yeah NEVERAGAIN * we called to speak with the manager, to inform him of the situation, not only was he beyond rude but accused me of lying, claiming that food poisoning takes up to 24 hours to kick it(I didnt know the manager of the pizza place was a doctor) also he stated«how do we know you even ordered a pizza?» Are you kidding me?! I told him we would drive down there right now and show him our receipt. I told him we would like our $ 30 back and he said he had to talk to the manager… But you just claimed you were the manager! Then he proceed to tell me they been in business for over 40 years, that they were busy and didn’t have time for this. As a former manager of a department, this is unacceptable to treat people like this let alone in a professional establishment. I also told him im going to use the power of social media to let others know so they dont have to hug the toilet all night as well! If anyone has the owners number we would love to send them our feedback.

Love this place. My boyfriend took me here for slices when i was 17. Been coming ever since. Great pizza, love to come for slices and beer, sit at the bar throw a twenty in the machine. A slice here is actually two slices, definatley worth the dollar! Their crust is amazing as is the sauce, my husband and i inhale the ranch, it’s crazy good. Love that they use fresh mushrooms, not impressed with the pinapple at all, its canned. The wings are steller, my dad has to get pizza and wings from here when he visits, its a must. Hubby and i are in the text club so it’s buy 1 get one pizza, beer, and shots on Tuesdays. Which happen to be our night without the kids. Thus why its usually a pizza baron night. Like i said been coming for years and never had a problem with an order, i can recal one time in all these years the crust was soggy, thats it. Only bummer my husband and i have agreed on, last three or four times its been a new guy at the pizza pick up and order area. Our old guy still runs the bar, wish i remembered his name, i love him. He was and is always so chill and relaxed. This new guy is, i dont know… not that. He seems kinda bummery, like he has to be there not like he wants to be. Plus you know how it is when you are a regular somewhere for years? They recognize you, got your usual sauces ect ready, there is a welcoming feeling, they say hi like they know you and are glad to see you again(even if they infact dont know you, just know they see you a lot) Ya thats gone with this guy. Told him a large ranch three times last week, pointed at it. Still brought out the small, then charged for both. Or usual dude just tosses us a ranch when we are leaving, cause he knows ya know. Not like its a big deal i will always come here, the food is why its a weekly stop. Maybe i dont dig this new guy cause of all the california gear he sports. Im not a big california fan. In general. Lol sorry, im honest.

Ok, for a late night pizza kick… this will do. Plus they delivered at almost 11 pm on a Monday night. Which for me on this particular day was a plus. Hence the 3 stars. The pizza was ok, and I’m not sure if I am saying this because I don’t get to eat pizza as much as I like(trying to eat clean, aside from my Vietnamese food obsession) and I could be just saying it was ok because I hadn’t had pizza in quite awhile. The crust was bland, the sauce was eh and well, toppings are toppings. And everything tastes good dipped in ranch right? Had some wings too… super teeny. But I have noticed that wings lately anywhere have been small. Like very small. So yeah, they deliver late!!! Thumbs up on that!!!

I love the baron, good people and cheap food! The wings are great, the sauce is a mixture of bbq and hot sauce. During the day it is only 99 cents for two slices of pizza.

Waited an hour for WAY over cooked chicken wings, a hand full of fries and pizza that tasted pre made.

I love pizza baron! It’s the only Pizza place in Reno open after Midnight DAILY!!! Perfect for all you stoners out there lol! My bf and I decided it was way too cold to go out for NYE this year, so we decided to ring in the New Year with Pizza Barons«The Deal Combo.» You receive a large cheese pizza and approximately 3lbs of wings, you also get garlic bread, some celery, and some ranch. Their flyer does say the wings are available in mild, medium, hot, and nitro, but they recently added 2 new flavors sweet and spicy Asian(our fave) and Parmesan something(I haven’t tried it yet, so that’s probably why I can’t remember lol). We also decided to try their fries, which were an additional $ 2 and we always get a pint of their ranch. If you’ve been here, you know it’s really good ranch. We also added Italian sausage and mushrooms to the pizza. Everything came out to less than $ 35. The food lasted 2 days which is pretty good in my book. We called after watching the fireworks go off at midnight from our living room, and were told the food would be ready for pickup in 30 – 40 mins as they were a little busy. I figured that was understandable since it was New Years, and we needed to make a beer run anyways. When we got there everything was ready. We started eating our fries in the car. I don’t know if we got there later than the time they quoted or if the fries were cooked first, but they were a little soggy. I love soggy and crunchy fries so I didn’t care but my bf thought they’d be much better right when the order comes out. We got home and dug into the pizza. I’m not a fan of sausage but I think Pizza Barons is terrific! It’s hearty and has a nice little tang to it. I guess you can say it tastes real and not processed like other places. The mushrooms are always perfect and we had tons just how we like. The wings can sometimes have some really itty bittys in them but for all the other big ones you get you can shrug those off. They were so saucy and perfect. Definitely stock up on napkins. Overall, we always have a good experience when ordering from pizza baron and will defintely be going again.

First off all delivery was all messed up lay taking orders thought it was E not D not big deal but I had to go outside into my parking lot and walk two houses down in 35 degree weather defeats the purpose of «delivery» but the reason for the one star is the food it was terrible I ordered boneless wings got bone in was t impressed with the teriyaki sauce aside from that he pizza was cold and bland no flavor odd hints off garlic here and there bout it definatly NEVER eating here again

Open well-past midnight every night for over 40 years, Pizza Baron on Keystone is the definition of a dive with hidden charms. I’ve never once eaten in the actual establishment, preferring to take my food to an environment with 100% less chance of being accosted for spare change by someone who hasn’t slept in days. The food itself is nothing fancy and frankly, the consistency can be pretty lacking at times. Yet, when they do it right it’s unique amongst all other pizza in town, featuring a crust that is both bready-yet-cracker crisp on the bottom. The wings are smaller than some, but«The Deal» really is a great deal. For what fancier pizzerias charge for just the pie, you get a large cheese pizza and three pounds of hot wings. There are times I’ve ordered the wings medium-hot because they’re not kidding about hot being hot. On one blistering occasion I decided to order the wings«nitro», resulting in a bright red circle around my mouth that was tender for a couple days. It was almost worth it.

Ordered delivery last night. I was quoted 45 minutes. I thought that was a little long but thought they must be busy. The man who took my order was very nice. I called the restaurant again when my order wasn’t there in 1 hour… and again at 1 hour 20 minutes. On top of being extremely late my order was 100% wrong. I ordered a pizza with chicken, bacon, mushrooms and jalapeños and there were no mushrooms. I ordered chicken wings and somehow got fish sticks. On top of all this ALL of the food was very cold and very bland. Do not order from this restaurant you will be terribly disappointed. Sad part is I’m pretty sure it’s mostly the drivers fault. He should be fired. Rediculous! I’d give it no stars but it wouldn’t let me.

Our football team won the Sugarbowl in Sparks. On our way back to South Lake Tahoe, we decided to stop here for our celebration party. What a great decision! The owner was patient with us, made the ordering process super easy. We basically had the place to ourselves. We ordered 8 yummy large pizzas, which was more than enough for our large party. It was a nice atmosphere, great tasting food & the best part… a bar next door for the parents. The owner really made us feel welcome, he even gave us all a complimentary cinnamon pizza to try. THANKYOUPIZZABARON. We will be back

Am not impressed with my order tonight. Vegetarian pizza was disappointing. Crust was crispy, but it was just tasteless. I could only taste the sauce. Very plain. Mild wings were burned and also bland. I had to use the watered down ranch to save them, and put the pepper flakes on my pizza to get flavor out of it. I want to like this place. So far I’m only a fan of the mushrooms and the spaghetti.

Definitely giving this place 4 stars just because of the food. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza and 18 hot wings. It costed around $ 20 which I think is a good deal. The hot sauce on the wings is freaking amazing. The wings them self are tiny with just a little bit of meat, but the hot sauce makes up for it. The pizza is delicious too. It’s fluffy, soft, and the sauce is tasty. The bar itself is a dive, but beers were cheap. The inside looked unorganized and sloppy. It had banners on the walls from 2001. They had karaōke going on and most people were singing country songs. Some singers were ok and some were really bad. The staff was really friendly, the bartender, the karaōke guy, and the pizza guy. The food is probably worth 5 stars, but the aesthetics are probably a 2. I definitely recommend trying the pizza and wings.

Was just introduced to this place by a friend. Really good specials, we got the pizza and 30 wing combo for 22.95 and paid 5+ for a XL pizza. Owner is friendly and nice. And a dodger fan! Go Doyers! Place has a local mom n pop shop vibe with a eclectic décor. I will return.

BACKONTRACK !!! Decided to give these guys another try after a disappointing last experience(but an awesome 1st experience). I called in an early dinner order for me and the neighbor of fish & chips, order of the jalapeño poppers, extra tartar sauce and a 20oz Dr Pepper. I paid with a card for $ 33(including delivery) I was told 45 minutes by Jeff(WAY nicer than the dude I spoke to last time!!!) — that was at 13;37. Delivered exactly 45 minutes later! The driver checked my ID and wanted to see my card which was cool. The order was EXACTLY what I ordered. You get 6 jalapeño poppers and ranch for $ 5.49. The fish is obviously prebattered but it is solid cod. The garlic bread was not smashed and over done like previously. Plenty of tartar sauce and the fries are better this time too. $ 5 tip to the proessional delivery dude. Very satisfied.

Got racially profiled. Yes I’m Asian. In fact yes I’m Japanese. I went to this place and sat down and I wasn’t served. What’s so wrong with that? Well let’s see. I waited for half an hour and people who came in after me sat down and got served before I did. There was one waitress tending to cups in the rear and another waitress who looked older asked if I was served. She said rather not quietly that she’d rather not serve«Oriental Japs». I got up and left. I will NEVER go back there again. The low life intelligence of this establishment shocks me and I will put the word out. Oh and by the way I was ignored as soon as I entered there. Unilocal is not the only place where I’ll be placing my complaint.

Pizza Baron is a Reno Staple, always liked their pizza, especially their crust. It’s super crispy on the bottom like a cracker and tastes great. I enjoy the sauce too, has a great flavor. They have a special for the 40th Anniversary $ 1 Super Cheese slice from 11am-4pm everyday. As you know their Super Slice is more like 2 slices. 50cents to add a topping. I don’t like the Pepperoni, tastes like Gallo, I am not a fan of Gallo and I love Pepperoni, probably my favorite topping. The cheese slice is good by itself. I got have gotten Mushroom which is good. Last time it’s was stacked mushrooms, today it was about 4.5 pieces on each slice, so wasn’t worth the up charge. The ranch dressing is good too. Last time it came w/my slice this time it didn’t. Not sure why, but it’s still a solid slice. What’s strange was this time I tipped, and last time I didn’t. Either way, check out the $ 1 pizza double slice special, and remember why they have been here 40 years!
