Today was the worst buffet experience I have had at Round Table. I arrived and all the pizza out was cold and sitting out for a while. Usually this place has 4 pizzas out and only fresh ones. Today I saw no pizzas in the oven, as more and more customers came in. I only wanted a little of cold/old pizza, so I waited and waited, watching the ovens, and no pizzas were moving.(It takes about 5 minutes for them to cook a pizza — I use to work here) It wasn’t slammed today, just good traffic flow, which usually means, get pizzas cooking, they didn’t even have any prepped and there was 4 – 5 employees. Finally they got 1 pizza out after 30 minutes, then another one about 10 minutes. The standards were way off today, and I could understand if they only had a couple buffet people, but there was at least 15 – 20 people today. The 2nd part that PISSESMEOFFBIGTIME is the temperature inside was set to 83 degrees. WTF? The temperature outside is 82 degrees! TERRIBLEEXPERIENCE and there is NOWAY I am going to feel like I am in a pizza oven, while eating PIZZA. I went to the grocery store, Save Mart, right after this boondoggle, and it’s cooler than the Round Table! Unacceptable to have a SUPERMARKET that is 10,000x bigger in size be cooler than a place you are dining. In Winter Time, they had the temperature one day at 60 degrees. If you cannot afford your electricity bill, you might need to shut the business down! This kind of experience is ghetto feeling, and I won’t be a customer any longer if these are the standards!

Terrible all around. First word I heard when walking in the door was«shit» by an employee talking to who I assumed was in charge. Wasn’t greeted for 10 min or so nor was the other customers who walked in. My pizza was made wrong and then remade right but while waiting I noticed 6 or 7 other orders were being remade. At one point the pizza belt was almost overflowing with pizzas to the point where it almost tipped over. I also noticed that more than half the food was burnt, including my first pizza. Employees did not respect each other or the management or the customers. Profanity was used frequently and it seemed to be a large mess. First impression of the store was not good either. I counted eight empty tables with trash, dishes, and half eaten pizza on them. As someone who works in customer service I was absolutely horrified by this scene. Will go elsewhere next time and will encourage others to do the same. One star is more than this place deserves.

I have tried this place twice. Both times I ordered online an hour before I would be picking up the pizza. Both times I showed up, my order was not ready, it wasn’t even in the oven or made yet. The first time this happened, I was able to wait for it to be made(mistakes are made here and there so I was understanding and still tipped). This time around I only had a few minutes to spare on my lunch break from work, and they didn’t even tell me my order wasn’t ready, i had to figure it out myself because once I got there they were in a rush trying to throw my order together. She tried to ring me up without even letting me know my order wasn’t ready. So I told her I couldn’t wait for the order to be made(the whole reason why I ordered an hour in advance. and I even showed up 15 minutes after when I was supposed to be there in case it wasn’t ready on time) so I asked if they deliver. They were happy to deliver but still charged me the delivery fee even though I had to drive all the way there just to find out my food wasn’t even close to being ready. Won’t be coming back here. We will see if my food even shows up for delivery. Update. food got here. but we ordered garlic twists and boneless wings with RANCH. but no ranch dressing showed up with the order… This place is terrible. for lack of a better word.

Great tasting pizza! Lots of choices, and nice salad bar. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and thanking us for coming! Unlimited drinks, was great because we ate a lot of pizza!

Although the staff is friendly – every time I order bread sticks, they burn them. Don’t order salads for delivery, they will definitely get it wrong. Your best bet is to always order for pick up to make sure your order is right before wasting your time.

Decent pizza but nothing interesting or extraordinary. ‘Fast service. ‘Decent salad bar, but a fairly small selection of toppings mostly limited to the same options you might find on a pizza. In the Sportsman’s Corner(?) strip mall, near Knucklehead’s bar and the SPCA thrift store off either 4th or 5th St. and Vine St. Across from The Gold Dust West casino.

I think round table pizza is not bad pizza considering it’s a chain . They have a pretty good buffet at fair price in my opinion and this location is rarely busy. Everyone who works here a been very nice and service is good. If you want a good lunch and it’s a pizza day stop by this location. Lunch buffet with a drink $ 10.33 They have a large room to accommodate big groups, they also have a room with a tv on the wall and a couple of couches. I think for a chain they do a pretty good job.

Worst experience ever and worst costumer service ever!!! Visiting in town my boyfriend and I wanted to order a pizza so we just got a large pepperoni pizza to go, I ordered online and the pickup was for 30 mins so we left after about 20 mins and when we arrived it was madness… Gross, smelly, workers everywhere looking like chickens with their heads cut off. About every 2 mins there was a customer asking about their order and when it would be ready? Some people where complaining that they were waiting for over an hour!!! Had to wait about another 30 mins after arriving so I was already upset but just watching this hot mess of a business was crazy. Not to mention the workers were making the pizzas with no gloves and saw them touching their hair and garbage and then put pepperoni on the pizza with the same bare hands(gross) then while everyone was waiting for their food they had about 8 pizzas at the end of the oven that were not getting boxed or served. Worst place ever do not waste your time or money or to mention that the guy at the cashier looked too high to even know he was at work. So disappointing

I placed an online order last night, and received free 8 boneless wings with my pizza using a discount code! The pizza I order was custom, because I’m a picky eater, and the pizza was made correctly! The food was awesome, they did a fantastic job! We will definitely have to do round table for dinner more often!

Today, I gave Round Table Pizza another chance. I was at the counter, and Wade took my buffet order, I was given no receipt. He did ask me if I had a card, to which I replied no. He pulled out a «Tastes of the Table lunch buffet club» card, stamped it, he then presented it to me, and still no receipt. The staff that I’ve seen is Wade, and 2 others. One driver has arrived So, the tables are reorganized, and the floor looks better. There was a table that took 40 minutes to be cleaned, and a couple of booths that needed attention, but not too bad, and at least the chairs were not stacked in the booths. The back section is opened and there are a few people there. Again, this is good. So, the pizza has improved a bit, and at least a few more choices, and a couple of them actually don’t taste or look old. The square pizza with Pepperoni, Tomato and sliced mozzarella is one, and the«desert pizza» is another. but still lacking in attendance. It’s still lunch rush and there is only 1 pizza at a time being brought to the buffet. There is a child’s birthday party in the small front section, an there are 6 adults and 3 – 4 children, ages, 1– 9. They are waiting for the buffet pizza to come. I arrived at 1:00 pm, about half way into the Lunch Rush. There are not a lot of people present, as most seem to get their pizza and leave. One worker, is behind the counter, very short hair, kinda chubby, seems to be picking at food, and chewing as he’s working. He’s wearing a visor instead of a cap, so I’m assuming he’s not mng. I also notice as he works, there are no sanitation gloves to help keep cross contamination down as he goes from cleaning, to placing pizza for buffet or into delivery cartons. I don’t know if this is over sight, of not a practice of Round Table Pizza in general. The employee has placed a pair of white sanitation gloves on to assemble food.(there are now 6 – 7 adults that have just walked in, buffet is severely lacking, they have looked around, and said adults have walked out the door.) Okay, for the salad bar, which was not much of an improvement. The potato salad, and some dressing looked old, as there was a film allowed to build from lack of turning the product. The counter area is unattended, the cucumbers looked wilted, and so did the tiny cherry tomatoes(which I believe this should be dropped, get the grape size, they withstand the buffet better, and don’t turn so quickly) ** insert, customers are complaining of lack of pizza on buffet** The pepperoncini are still an off color, so I’m going to assume its because of the company they get them from. The green lettuce blend had some wilted and browned lettuce in it, the Broccoli looked dried out. I did not even attempt the shredded cheese or ground hard boiled eggs, as the cooling section does not seem to keep the salad bar well. The same for the cottage cheese and peaches. The Blue Cheese Dressing was alright, and it looked ok, as no film on top or discolored. The soda dispenser is dirty, and the diet Pepsi is almost flat. This is my beverage of choice as diet is usually what is over looked.(wade is now busing tables/booths but the trash on floor is ignored. He’s gone from busing tables to placing pizza for buffet without sanitation gloves or washing of hands.) In an over view, I do see some positive changes, and I know that it’s because of lousy reviews. It is in my opinion that a refresher course in safe food handling and the first in first out for salad bar; be revisited. The restaurant is too chilly, considering the current temp out side is not overly warm. I did not use my VIP that I received in the mail yesterday, as I wanted to see what, if any, improvements to the buffet was done. I am sure that my to go food will be much better, as it is freshly made. I will change my rating and give this 2 stars, and 1 star for efforts. It’s also my opinion that this store has so much potential, if there are a few customer service reviews done, IE, how to treat/address customers, which means face them, interact with them and their inquires, and not act if they are a bother. In closing, I am happy to know that Tiffany Khon will look into these concerns and have them addressed. It is now 2:04 Saturday, April 24, 2014

I was impressed with the service, they did not gripe even though we were the last customers of the day. The pizza, a meat lovers of sorts, was hot, dough was crisp and not burnt, the toppings were generous and well distributed. I was very pleased and would not hesitate to go back.

One word: EW! Decided to go to Round Table for their Tuesday night buffet, all you can eat pizza and salad bar for $ 7.49 per person. We chose this location because it was the closest one to our hotel. The pizza looked good and they had 5 different kinds, we decided on the Combination, Pepperoni and Ham & Pineapple. The first couple of bites were ok, then it turned to dough after that. My boyfriend actually ended up spitting it back out because it wasn’t cooked. We also got salads from the salad bar. The salad was wilting and brown on some pieces, but after we picked through it got a decent salad out of the mix. It’s now about an hour and a half after we ate and neither one of us is feeling to great, kind of queasy. We definitely will NOT be going back to this location again.

I’ve considered going here before, cuz it’s a very convenient location, but seeing the reviews has made me reluctant. Well, I decided to try it tonight anyway. I ordered a med deep dish peperoni, mushroom, and olive at 6:15, and they told me it would be ready in 45 minutes. Wow, that seemed like a long time, and I said as much, but she said they were super busy. Ok, I thought. I got there at 6:50, hoping that by getting there 10 mins eaarly, my pizza would avoid sitting under a warming light. I went in, and no one acknowledged me for a few minutes. I finally yelled over to the girl making pizza, «Do I ring a bell or something?» She finally came over, and when I said I ws here to pick up, she asked my name, and after I told her, she looked around the kitchen for a bit. Was she looking around for my pizza? I don’t know. She came back to the counter, and asked what kind was it. Now I’m nervous. Did they forget to write it down? I told her, then she came back over to me and told me that my pizza was going to be made next, and it would be about 20 minutes. Wow — it isn’t even started yet. By the way, when I came in, there was no one in the place, but there was a large party in another room — they looked to be almost done, though. So, I sat down, and in 15 minutes, it was ready. She asked me if I’d paid yet, and I said no — I walked over to the counter, and she gave me the total, and I gave her money, but she just stood there. «Something wrong?», I ask. «Well, I can’t ring you up. I need to get someone else.» So, I stand there while she runs around asking the other 5 employees for someone to ring me up. Finally, a girl comes over and rings me. I notice her badge says Melissa — supervisor. Really, with everyone dorking around like they have no idea what to do, I was surprised that there really was a supervisor there at all. She rings me, and then apologizes — I guess that it took so long. The pizza tastes pretty good, although the amount of toppings seems a bit skimpy. They all seemed nice, but they also seemed like they just weren’t sure what they were doing, and they had no hustle. But that comes with training. So, I’m gonna assume that no one has trained them. It looks like they just need a manager that has some knowledge, hustle, and professionalism that can train the staff. I hope they get it.

The delivery driver never showed! I placed an order at 9:38pm and by 11:00 they had STILL not shown up. I called, they said the driver had come by and called NUMEROUS times. They never called and never showed. My phone never rang, and never showed a missed call, PLUS I have dogs who would have barked. They didn’t offer to come back — they are the WORST. I will NEVER order from them again.

Ick, round table is slightly better than pizza hut and dominos but not by much. For $ 12 for a large at round table, in 15 min I can make my own pizza using trader joes $ 2 crust and make a much better tasting pizza for under $ 6…just saying. Seriously, what is the point of eating here.

I’ve had several bad delivery expirences with them. I’ve worked in restaurants a lot in my life, and have managed pizza restaurants too so I know the easiest thing to mess up is the most simple. I ordered a plain cheese pizza for delivery and what I got was not a gooey cheezy yummy pizza but a hard crust that said to me wasn’t made properly and congealed cheese. The restaurant is a 4 min. drive from my house, no reason for my food not to be fresh. I will drive to the Round Table on Maeanne from now on or use delivery diner if I don’t want to drive but I won’t ever waste my money at this place.

When I arrived, all the pizzas that were out were old. Shortly after my second trip thru they put out new pies. I guess I should have eaten more slowly, then I could have got the nice fresh pies. Food was good on the third trip. Glad it is AYCE :) so I could go back after they put out the fresh pies.

The lack of efficiency at this satellite of Planet Round Table Pizza, makes Planet Lisa wonder whether: «The Last Honest Pizza» is Honestly Bad. Recently, Round Table has been running a $ 10 special for a large pizza. Planet Lisa has tried this special at a dine-in meeting held on premises, and as a take-out option. The toppings seem to be reduced while the pizzas are arriving slightly overcooked. Although worth the $ 10 special price, Planet Lisa asks whether it’s worth suffering the indignities inadvertently dished out at this location? Both times the pizza took 15 minutes longer than promised. This Round Table offers two meeting rooms for groups to use at no additional charge. Planet Lisa sent an envoy to send greetings and encouragement to a group meeting here. On the plus side, this room was close to the ordering station, on the minus side, the chairs provided are uncomfortable — leaving the envoy with a stiff back and a sore hinder after the 2-hour meeting concluded. The self-serve soda dispenser was out of diet pop. Fifteen minutes were required before one of the establishment’s 8 or 9 employees could get it filled. Staff was courteous, but flapped around lacking purpose and mostly bumping into one another. This restaurant’s small kitchen was a perilous flurry of elbows stuffed into a confined area. Special Pizza prices or not, Planet Round Table isn’t going to earn Planet Lisa’s respect until the staff learns to function as one unit rather than as a bunch of half-broken ones. Note: Parking is close to the door, always worthy of a star on Planet Lisa.
