Round Table Pizza

I absolutely can’t understand the bad reviews associated with this place. I get pizza here once or twice a month and have NEVER had a single problem with my order. In fact, I would have given them 5 stars except for two minor things; turnover here is extremely high and new employees never seem to understand the difference between a prepaid online order and a call-​in order that requires payment, the person at the counter inevitability needs to call for help when I come to pick up an online order; secondly, the owner or GM has recently switched from house-​made ranch to premade ranch, probably to save money, but it now comes in giant to-​go cups vs the old tiny ones. Since Round Table is a little higher quality than Dominos or the like, I think the higher quality ranch would be more on par with the food. And the cups of it are way too big now.
Other than those minor details, this place is awesome. Literally, one of my favorite places to grab food. The counter staff always checks my food before I take it and always offers plates, napkins and ranch. My food has never been wrong or burned or dry. They always offer my kids lollipops when we pick up our order. The last time I got food here, I splurged and had it delivered and that was even better, the driver was friendly and funny.
Totally baffled by the negative reviews…

Wanted to try something different for delivery, and tried Round Table a few nights ago. We usually order from Pizza Factory, but they are so expensive, thought we might save a few bucks.
I guess, you get what you pay for. We like crispy dry wings, and were assured that’s what we could get, Not! They were gooey, not crispy at all. Won’t do that again.
We got a meat lover’s pizza, and it was ok, on a thin crust, which I actually liked better than the crust at Pizza Factory, but the toppings weren’t nearly as good, they didn’t seem as «real» as others, and way too salty for me. My pizza was a white sauce with chicken, garlic, and black olives, with some pepproni thrown it for good measure, and it was a salt lick for me. I had to take the pepperoni off to really enjoy it, and it wasn’t nearly as good as the one I order from Pizza Factory.
I have to say, it came right on time when they said it would, and the delivery driver was extremely friendly and nice. Other than that, we’ll be ordering from Pizza Factory next time, Round Table was Ok, but not as good as PF, so we probably won’t order from them again.

Place is in need of a major remodel and cleaning! I entered the restroom and was greeted by the pungent odor of neglect. There was algae and mold in both toilet bowls. The salad bar looked like it hadnt been refreshed all day (we ate at 4pm). The potato salad had a dry hard layer on top and the 1000 island dressing had a vile looking thick, old ring around the top. Needless to say we passed on salad. I did bring all of this to an employees attention and they did begin addressing the issues however a customer shouldn’t have to bring this to their attention. The employees should be inspecting and noticing these issues themselves. Especially since we were the only customers. In my opinion the owner needs to crack down on staff and standards and breathe some life back into their business. The food was good but the wait time was a little longer than expected.

First off, they seem extremely understaffed. The two people who were working seemed nice but extremely slow. The salad bar seemed to be ravaged by a pack of wild starving boars which left it a mess and quite empty. I didn’t see anyone checking the status of it either. After 15 minutes or so I had to go to the counter to ask if they could refill the ranch dressing which was empty. Not a big deal but it took a solid 10 minutes. Mind you it was 12:10 pm when I walked through the door.
You’d figure they would be anticipating lunch buffet crowds. On to the heat lamp food warmer. No pizza. None. At all. Only a few scraps of garlic twists. That’s it. Within 5 or so minutes one of the two employees brought out a cheese pizza and some cinnamon twists. These to items were quickly devoured by myself and the pack of starving wild boars I mentioned earlier. From there, further disappointment and more waiting. And now to the soda fountains. All I wanted was some Ice and some peach tea. First off I had to ask for a clean or cleaner cup than the one they initially gave me. Well. No peach tea, no regular tea, no regular soda. Only water and Sierra Mist. I’m easy. Sierra Mist it is. Finally, the overall cleanliness of this chain pizza restaurant. DISGUSTING. Top to bottom, wall to wall. I will post pictures as best as I can to support my claims of how filthy this place is. I think Round tables corporate offices might just have overlooked this places entire existence.

Service was terrible. We ate lunch for the buffet and they didn’t have pizza out for it. Cleanliness in the bathroom and the store is terrible.

I have one by my house, and I usually love round table; however, this location is disgusting. The food is cooked funny, the staff, in addition to being completely rude, doesn’t know what’s going on, and the place is a mess. I went here with my mother one time and there was pizza all over the floor. We told the workers and sat down to eat (ridiculous waiting time with sub par pizza). When we went to leave the pizza was still there, and had been stepped on. Workers were at the counter chatting to each other, seemingly ignorant to the mess. Always dusty, this place is unsanitary and gives off an «icky» feeling. I will not be coming back, and earn my friends to do the same

Ordered delivery today because we wanted to watch football and not have to run out for something. Sad to say but the pizza was disappointing. I ordered a medium gourmet veggie, no spinach on a skinny crust. The pizza arrived approximately an hour after we ordered. We got the pizzas we ordered. The delivery person was very friendly.
My veggie pizza had spinach even though I ordered without spinach and it was under everything so very difficult to remove. Oh well, I can live with the spinach. However what really disappointed was the crust. How do you under cook a skinny crust? The crust was super thin and yet not even brown on the bottom and doughy in the middle. Seriously? For a place that has fairly expensive pizza they sure dropped the ball on this one. Don’t think I will order delivery again.

I have had 2 baby shower party’s at this location and purchase pizza regular. Of course they are human and mistakes they quickly fix it. Nice group of people also.
Only suggestion, this location Needs a littleTLC
Sometimes I find us having to ask to clean up the rooms before party. This should be vacuumed and clean prior to the arrival.

Update: just as i finished posting my review, pizza was delivered. I paid extra for extra mini pepperoni. Did it come with extra? Nope! The grease, was so bad it had soaked through the card board. And the soda was stored in the delivery bag. Gross. Still a 1 star. Wish it could be zero.
This is the third and final time I will ever order from round table. Each time I have ordered delivery. The first time it took 2 hours for it be delivered! When I called an hour and a half after I ordered they tried to tell me that I only order a Half hour ago, but that was the fulfillment time not order time. Today and the time before I have entered in a specific fulfillment time. Last time pizza was an hour after again. This time… well I’m still waiting and it’s been well over an hour. Never again will I order round tables and I’ll make sure everyone I know doesn’t order from then either.

12:30 on Saturday afternoon and the buffet is empty. No silverware for salad bar. The dining room us about ¾ full with a party in the back room. Employees behind the counter were in no hurry to assist the guests.
Really disappointed by the service at this Round Table. I will make a trip into Reno or Sparks before eating here again.

I order delivery quite a bit from this location and usually have no issues. Unfortunately today there was an issue. I ordered the small pizza and 6 wings BBQ flavor. The order was delivered in about 60min and the driver was nice and professional. Upon inspection of my food the pizza was great tasting and semi warm but not hot. The real problem was the 6 wings… they were supposed to be BBQ and somehow they were buffalo extra hot! I couldn’t even eat one since it was so spicy. I had to end up not even enjoying the wings and dumped them in the trash. Such a total waste of my money. I would encourage the workers to CHECK these orders before they leave the door!

Took the kids out for what I thought would be a good day at round table for a buffet. I thought its 12:30, lunch would be nice. I realized right after payment and walking through the restaurant that it was a mistake. There was about 6 tables in need of busing. It got relatively worse from there. I actually seen people busing the tables for a place to sit. With 12 customers in the establishment there was no excuse for the pizzas to be cleared. This used to be such a nice place, I don’t know what happen. If was a staffing problem the manager could have forewarned us of the issues.

My family and I came here yesterday for dinner ordered a triple pepperoni pizza. The staff amd manager Manny acting as if we were an inconvenience to them… not pleasant at all. The dining room was very dirty and not one clean table to sit at. We finally found a booth sat there the table was greasy and dirty and there were no napkins all the napkin dispensers were empty. When Manny came to bring us our pizza he was not polite, he kept forgetting our cups and plates. The pizza was hot and looking great. but there was hardly any sauce and the pizza left a Nasty burning after taste… that was all we ate last night and a few hours later we all got sick. This USED to be a great family restaurant but the last few visits have been bad. we decided to give one last chance last night. Mostlikely won’t be returning. Ive been in customer service for 16 years I know when im. receiving bad service. And that was bad.

Do not order from here. I decided to order dinner one night while I had some friends over. I ordered at 7 and didn’t get my delivery till 10! When we did get it, the pizza had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp or something. It was Luke warm and nothing special. You’re better off making your own or grabbing one from a store. This round table needs some serious help.

I wouldn’t even give them one star! This place horrible. Had to call the manager and tell him to let his delivery driver to turn around we didn’t want the pizza after waiting 2 hours for it to not even be here and I live 5 min away. The staff and manager was rude and yelled at my husband. It’s pathetic how this place is ran. I will never be ordering from this place again. Shoot I won’t even go in to eat.

I placed an order for a medium pizza 1.5 hours ago for pickup and it still isn’t ready. This establishment is a joke

Was contacted by management after my last review, and was given a free pizza to re-​review.
Took just under an hour to receive our pizza after placing the order. The pizza was luke-​warm upon arrival, but given the timeframe, understandable. Popped the pizza in the oven to heat it up and seasoned it like I would any other. Still didn’t care for the pizza, overly greasy and just unappetizing. Won’t be coming here again, please don’t contact me again.

I called to place an order phone rang about 15 times in frustration I called again after the 10^th ring someone finally answered the phone. Place an order for a half and half pizza got 60/​40, ordered it with extra sauce and there was NO sauce, not even an ounce of sauce was on the pizza! So disappointed!

I only eat here when I’m lazy and don’t want to go out so I order delivery…
So I’m always looking at spending 21.00 or more on my order.
Twice now on my pepperoni pizzas they have been over cooked and more dough then pizza.
Pizza comes in a hour so if your in a hurry it’s faster to go out and get it.
Three times now they have forgotten my ranch sauce as a dipping sauce!!! That’s a dollar down the drain.
I won’t be eating here again.

Background — Been a very long time and my wife has never been to a Round Table.
Atmosphere — Like I said before it has been a very long time and clearly it has been. The place has been remodel and is already showing some aging to it. I ordered my pizza for take-​out so I was not around for very long.
Food
Appetizer — none ordered.
Drinks — A beer out of my fridge.
My Main Course — I found a coupon for a triple pepperoni deal. I love those small ones that curl up to hold the grease, edges burnt for a nice chard taste. The only try back with this much pepperoni is amount of crease and all that salt. Boy I was thirsty later in the night.
Dessert — skipped it.
Service — The phone recommendations where great and showing you everything before you leave is great service.
