Jamie is great. She gave me EXACTLY what I asked for. Salon is clean and open. This is a great place and Jamie is an artist. Best perm ever! Pricing is very reasonable location is convenient I would highly recommend this Salon and HIGHLY recommend Jamie.

We love Salon Glow. We planned months in advance to see Valerie and her assistant Tariann. They are curly hair specialists and they worked magic on my daughter’s curly hair. In addition to a beautiful trim they taught us how to manage and maximize very curly hair. They provide an incredible service and we will be back!

Amalia is hands down the best hairdresser I’ve had. She takes what I have in mind for my hair and interprets it to be something amazing! She’s also very friendly and doesn’t make appointments uncomfortable or awkward! Highly recommend her!

I have always been a curly head disaster. From frizz to unmanageable tangles, from broken hair to just close to shaving it all off. I went to Salon Glow and had an appointment with Valerie. She was AWESOME! I could never have imagined that I could walk out of that salon looking and feeling as great as I did. Valerie took the time to listen to me closely, then teach me the best techniques for my hair. She showed me exactly how to style my hair and made sure I understood. She even wrote me a cheat sheet to take home. She sold me products that are incredible. It has never been easier than it is now to look FABULOUS! I will never go to anyone else.

I went to Mary to get my eyebrows done and she was amazing! Whatever wax she uses is so gentle. I have very temperamental skin and usually my skin stays red for a while after a wax. But not with Mary. It leaves your skin soft after the wax too!

I bought a Groupon for a cut, deep condition and style with Tariann. I always feel kind of bad when I buy groupons for some reason, especially for anything to do with hair because I have a lot of hair. It’s very thick, tangley, very dry, curly and straight at the same time and difficult to work with! haha. Anyway, I arrived at the salon for the first time and thought that if was nicely decorated and Tariann was very nice and welcoming from the start. She spent 2 solid hours working on my hair. She put so much detail and hard work and effort into my haircut. The perfection and pure attention to detail was outstanding. I went in with dry, unruly, unmanageable hair and left with on the best haircuts I have ever had. This is the softest I can ever remember my hair being! I am so so happy with the outstanding job that she did on my hair and I would highly recommend going to her! I am a server at a local restaurant and am not a friend or relative, so my review is sincere and legit. lol :) Thank you again, Tariann!

Jennifer is absolutely amazing! Came in to the salon for the first time and was very pleased with how clean and welcoming everyone was.
I had an 11:00 appointment and it was right on time. Jennifer was very friendly, gentle and prompt. She gave me excatly what I wanted. I won’t ever go to anyone else! I’ll highly recommend Salon Grow for all your beauty needs! And of course Jennifer for your nail needs!

Linda is a very talented artist. She did a cut and color on my hair and it looks fantastic! I went to her with really bad hair, an uneven cut from an inexperienced stylist and bad highlights that were way past touch up time. Linda assessed my hair and knew exactly what to do, she did such a great job I want my hair to look like this always! I highly recommend her!

I felt like I had a friend doing my nails! Not to mention they have looked AMAZING since I had them done!!! I’m going on week 3. Which is a first for gel nails and I. They usually last me 2 weeks tops. If even. Ive had numerous compliments on my nails. And the color! (Which was the same color Jennifer had on)
I live in San Francisco. But next time I visit Reno. Which is often– I will go back and see Jennifer!
One of the best nail experiences I’ve ever had. No joke.

I was in the area on vacation and totally spur of the moment decided on a cut. This place not only took me within an hour of my call, but Jamie was amazing! I also decided while she was cutting, that I wanted some color & she was more than happy to — and did an UH-​mazing job. My daughter was even impressed & it takes a lot to impress her!

I love Lynn. She is amazing. She is very talented and outgoing. I highly recommend going to her for great nails if you live in the Reno/​sparks area. I am very picky and she always seems to amaze with me with how great of a job she does. I always leave smiling.

Tara did a great job on my nails! She was careful and made sure I was happy with the work she did. She was also fun to talk to which made for a great experience! I definitely recommend her to others! I let her pick the design and stamps for my nails because I trusted her right away and they look great!

I’m from out of town so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I made an appointment at Salon Glow… they were able to get me in that day when several other salons couldn’t make time for me. Tariann Sage was my stylist. I showed her two different looks I was going for. My current hair color was red. I wanted to go either dirty blonde or dark brown with ombré. Tariann suggested that ombré would be more attainable, considering how difficult blonde can be in top of removing red. She did an amazing job. It took 5 hours and $ 120 for the cut and color, but it was well worth it! I have ombré done on me three times, and this was the best hands down. The staff was friendly and offered water and wine, and the atmosphere was nice as well. I highly recommend this salon!

Salon Glow is your one stop shop! Hair, nails and skin.
First, Tara will take great care of your nails! I’ve gotten several manicures from Tara and she’s always so gentle, attentive and nice. She always makes sure I’m comfortable and enjoying my service. I would highly suggest Tara to make your nails look great!
Second, Mary will take such great care of your skin! I’m a bit of a skin freak and am hyper aware of the products I use. Mary was so great at explaining what each product she using was and what the benefits were. As soon as I walked into her room I felt relaxed and at ease!
I cannot wait to return again and again to Tara and Mary! I’d highly recommend that you do too!

I’ve been going to Jennifer every two weeks for months. My nails are so beautiful and I am constantly getting compliments on them. She is very friendly and funny! The designs/​colors and glitter assortment are endless.

I don’t splurge very often on expensive salon services, so for $ 90 + tip for a color and a cut was something I didn’t take lightly. Lucky me that I had Amalia to take me for an appointment that lasted over 2 hours. She took the time to go over color choices, hair care (I am trying to use conditioner only most of the time), talk about how my hair has changed over the years, and how to someday go completely gray gracefully. She is very talkative and asks a lot of questions, which was good for me. If you don’t feel very chatty, I’m sure she would be okay with just going over basic questions as you sit and peruse gossipy magazines.
