Scrapbook Paradise

I believe it maybe the last scrap store left in town.
Paradise offers classes in scrapbooking and card making, sign up for their emails and they will send two months info at a time. They carry all the basic supplies you need to do both. Along with specialty papers, ink and bling. All the staff is very knowledgeable on the shop’s products and on various techniques.
In the back there is a work area you can use for a small fee. It has large tables and comfy chairs for hours of work. Available for use too are dies. The clearance bins are located in the work room if your looking for past style papers or cheap sheets to work with.
It’s nice to still have a local shop to run to to make last minute color matches, that are impossible to do online.

The owner, Laura, always greets me by name as soon as I step foot inside this store. That is how good this customer service is. Whether you come in looking for a specific item, just to browse, or help with a project the customer service is top notch. Scrapbook stores always feel like home to me since I have been a crafter all my life and this is one of the coziest homes i’ve ever had. You will feel welcome, cared about, and always fondly remembered.
They offer a place to scrap and use tools for a minimal fee. They offer classes to teach you new things. They offer scrapbook trips and getaways to local conventions. They offer so much it is always worth a few minutes to drop in. You won’t even mind if those few minutes quickly turn into an hour spent browsing/​buying everything in sight.
The prices are comparable to other crafty stores but also give you the chance to support a wonderful, local business. I always like that added aspect. If you haven’t been in, GO NOW! You won’t regret it but your wallet might!

This place is amazing! They have a wonderful selection of scrap items, their prices are great, and the store is organized and clean!!! And the staff… Fabulous! EVerytime I walk out of the store, I think «if only there were more people like that in the world!» the owner is a doll! She’s friendly, professional and sooo helpful! Paige is just sweetest thing ever, and super knowledgable! They have a good sized class section! It looked inviting and clean! Browsing their calendar, they have a bunch of different types of classes, for different skill levels and different aesthetics!
I just recently found them, but I will not be shopping anywhere else!

The prices are standard to scrapbooking stores ($ 1ish per sheet), it has a big work area for classes and working on your projects. What is so amazing is that they are super kid friendly — the staff loves children and there is a great little play area for my girls to play (5, 2). The store is clean and well organized and the bathroom is super cute. 5 stars!

I visited on 10÷29÷10. To my delight, this shop has changed for the better!
First, the name has changed to «Scrapbook Paradise». They now have a fabulous section for distressing and vintage style paper crafting that includes a great selection of Tim Holtz, Tattered Angels etc. They have swatches of the stamping inks so you can see what they look like before you buy them.
They offer a nice variety of classes and crops at different times during the week. There is a spacious crop area. I was impressed with their calendar of events which was available online and at the shop. A daytime crop was in full swing and the room was full of happy scrappers.
The sales person that helped me was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The cherry on the top was when my toddler discovered the kid’s play area! It was so nice to have toys available to occupy him while I shopped.

This is a charming store in a really good location, but they just don’t carry enough product to keep me coming back regularly. It seems like every time I’m here, it’s all the same product I saw a few months back. When they do get new product, it gets whipped up so fast most people never knew it was there. It’s not a bad place to crop, though.

I was visiting family in the Reno area and thought I’d stop at the LSS. I had been to Treasured Memories on S. Wells in the past and expected this store to be very similar. Truth be told, this store isn’t well stocked like its sister store. Instant gratification is not to be had at this place. The staff was very helpful, but that’s not enough to bring me back.
