Silver State Arms

I love this place, I’ve ordered 2 firearms from them now and both times have been fantastic. The prices are definitely the best in town and they are very friendly. Another big plus is that they always answer the phone and if you are interested in a special order they will get you the information RIGHT THEN, a lot of other shops will not do this and I’ve had lots of issues with other places not even returning phone calls.
I will definitely be purchasing all of my forearms through Silver State! Keep up the awesome work!

I just purchased a handgun that I had on layaway and was really satisfied with the selection and service. Each time I went (about 5 times so far) in I was greeted and asked if I had any questions. Joe was very approachable, as this was my first gun purchase, and the other staff was friendly as well. All my questions were answered with a helpful attitude. Good first impression equals you get my business.
While the overall selection was not what the big box stores have, there is an excellent variety of brands and calibers. I purchased a hand gun, so I was not looking at rifles or shotguns much, but they did have quite a few on the racks as well. As I was stopping in about once week, I noticed that they always had some new/​different guns on the shelves as well.
Prices seemed to be about average, and a bit less than MSRP from what I could tell, although I am relatively new to the gun buying area. Ammo was a bit more than some other places, but only a couple of bucks.
When there were other customers in there, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting as well. They didn’t mind if you just came in to browse or hang out.

Fist off I like to thank Jaime Joe and Kent for there wonderful service and knowledge. They welcome everyone, even if they are busy they will try there best to help you. My brother and I are Asian ethnic and was never discourage, they made us feel comfortable and gave us sound advice. Unlike some places, which made us felt unwelcome, but with SSA as soon as we walk-​in they treated us right and respectfully. Prices are reasonable, frankly I would buy anything from them, just to supporting my new favorite gun shop.

I have purchased a couple of guns through these guys, and unless there is a substantially lower price at another store, i will continue to purchase from them. They are no-​nonsense dealers, and will give you whatever you can afford, and they are very helpful. What you wont get is attitude, brand bias or advice. They will be happy to provide advice, if you ask, but they do not talk to you like you are stupid, or talk you out of a gun.
I was worried about a year ago, when i visited them, because their inventory was soo low. Dangerously low. Today, they are fully stocked, and will be happy to put guns on lay away, its how i purchased mine. Also, their ammo prices are pretty reasonable as well. Joe B who placed a review here, has it right on the head about ammo. You will pay more here, than online, but you wont be paying Cabela’s or Sheel prices.

Very good local shop with a large inventory of new and used guns. If they don’t have it and can’t get it through their supply chain, they’ll refer you to another local shop.
I’ve bought at least 30 guns here the past 5 years, only complaint is I can usually only get in here on a weekend (Saturday) because of their hours.

After my first experience, I since have purchased all my guns from here. Great selection, great prices, and awesome service. Joe has always been the beat to me whenever I have come in.

This gun store has a pretty good selection of guns, but what impressed me was the Denis (the owner). His store did not have what I was looking for, so he called around for me to see if he could hook me up with what I was looking for. For that, I gave him the best possible rating for customer service. Denis is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place.

Was in there about a month ago, cool people, helpful and had what looked to be a good selection.
