Let me start by saying I Iove the blind onion, their food is great. The staff on the other hand. Last Friday(2÷13÷2015) my friends and i went in and ordered a 16 inch cheese pizza. We wait half an hour. A young lady comes over with a small pizza thirty minutes later, we tell her we ordered the 16in for three people … She tells us that they were confused by our order so they went ahead and made the small and she says«so you payed two dollars extra for a smaller pizza, enjoy.» She smiled and walked away. Speechless is all I can say. So rude. Never coming back to this location again.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood places to sit and enjoy a casual meal. I love the vibe inside this location. Most of the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. They have great ranch dressing, and great pizza crust. I’ve got big love for this particular Blind Onion location. My only piece of feedback is that the only employees who have ever been less-than-helpful, dismissive or too busy to help, are the two who seem to be the most central to the operation. I’ve always assumed they are the owners, but don’t know that for certain. I am understanding, and sure they’re just much more busy than their employees, but I do often wonder why they’re not quite as kind as their staff.

Found this place on Unilocal, was open late and decided to get takeout. Really good pepperoni pizza, loved the crust. Get the breadsticks, they’re fantastic, cooked perfect on the softer side and you get a bunch for $ 5. Also they are quick even though it was a busy Saturday night there.

The pizza was really good. The dough was soft and not too thick or thin, the sauce was very good, and the toppings all tasted fresh. I ordered to go and got my order timely and correctly. I will be eating from there again.

Oh Blind Onion, how I miss you and enjoy my brief encounters with you when I’m back visiting friends and family in Reno. These guys, especially this location, have some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, not to mention their specialities rock! They keep a book of all the specials made and on some occasions they’ve gone back in time and made a few for us. The hand twisted crust is to die for, and I’m not a crust fan usually. Along with that I found eating crust with honey to be odd at first but quickly became a fan. I have yet to find another joint that even slightly resembles Blind Onion, kudos you guys! Some nights you’ll find the owners working behind the counter, who are just as friendly and engaging in conversation as the normal staff. If you’re a game person, they even have board games to keep you busy while you hang for that last beer to wash all that good pizza down. Classics like connect 4.

Wow, I’ve heard of this place many time and finally got around to eating here. We got half vegetarian and half Hawaiian. Both were loaded with toppings and very tasty! The crust however stole the show, mix of honey, butter and fluffy carbs. It was so delicious I could eat the crust alone and be satisfied. I highly recommend this place.

Blind Onion Pizza is always a hot, delicious, and flavorful treat. My friend and I shared a pie that was almost identical halves of Hawaiian, except my side had jalapeños. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. But the crust — oh my, the crust — was warm, golden, and delicious. We had the pizza as takeout and the restaurant included honey for dripping the crust in– a standard with this place. I did four stars, instead of five, because I did not evaluate the actual restaurant.

Pizza is always consistently great! One of my favorite choices is the wings with a large pepperoni and pineapple

Food was A+++!!! breadsticks amazing! salad was very fresh all veggies were fresh and crisp. Also got the breath buster pizza with added artichoke hearts. I’m sure the pizza alone would have been great but wow the artichokes made it that much better. For being a place right by a college campus I was amazed how good it was. Cleanliness was not great but it is by a college campus so that’s understandable for the area and target audience they are after. I highly recommend the food it was awesome

Awesome pizza never seen anything like that before I saw the crust. If you are planning on getting pizza in Reno go there.

The Blind Onion will probably always be my «go to» pizza place in the Reno/Sparks area. They have delicious pizza with amazing crust, and their garlic knots are great too. The two best locations are the ones on Victorian Ave and in Spanish Springs. However, the service at this location is always great. With such a friendly staff and good food, you can’t really go wrong by coming into the Blind Onion. Why is the Blind Onion so great? Because of their super slice! They sell pizza by the(super) slice. This way, there is no compromise on what to order, everyone in your party can get exactly what they want. A super slice is actually two very large pieces of pizza and depending on the amount of toppings, they range from about $ 5-$ 10.

I was pleasantly surprised with the pizza and the options at Blind Onion. The best part was the Super Slice and drink deal. You basically get 2 large slices(¼ of a large pizza), and you can choose whatever toppings you want, for $ 6. Then you an add a drink for a dollar or a beer for $ 2. And the pizza is super good. They have great crust, and serve honey to dip the crust in. The service was great, the employees were friendly. She told me it would be ready in 7 minutes, and it was. And they have some games– I saw other patrons playing connect four or coloring. This was only my first time at this location, so I don’t have broad experience with the other pizza options or their specialties, but I will be back for sure. It was really a good deal.

My chicken on my chicken parmasean pizza was completely dry. After removing it from the pizza was pretty good. I’m just simply underwhelmed.

Had two pizzas from here tonight. Both pizzas were very good. They also have pesto sauce in place of red sauce if you want. Which I really enjoy! I have ate here for years, every time the pizza is good and staff is very nice. Also they have happy hour from 3−6pm large 1 topping 12 dollars.

We love this place! Likely my favorite pizza in the Reno area. I usually take my order to go, but dining in is fun because they have a selection of board games available for customers to play while they eat. The place is clean and the service is great, and the pizza is delicious. No complaints. They have amazing specials. The $ 11.95 large one topping pizza during 3pm-5pm happy hour is such a steal. I also love their super slices; you get two hearty slices of pizza(«a super slice») for around $ 5! It’s an added bonus that they don’t charge you for ranch and honey for dipping. Part of what makes Blind Onion pizza so special is the crust. It is a thick, braided golden brown crust paired with an excellent variety of veggies and meats. My favorite is the vegetarian, which comes with bell peppers, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, olives, mushrooms and onions. Yum!

I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting much seeing as this place is in a strip mall. My fault! The pizza here is A++! Really good toppings and the crust was sooooooooooooooooo good. I am by no means a pizza purist; all pizza is good, but this was great! The décor is a little divey, but the food is what’s important here. Family friendly, but they serve booze too! I’m a little bummed that my sister is graduating from UNR, and thusly, I won’t ever be in Reno again(probably) to eat here!

I had no idea this location was here until Easter Sunday! While it’s(I believe) the smallest location, it’s still the same great quality as all the other locations. Both times I’ve gone the same man has been working. He was kind and polite both times and had the food out to us in a prompt manner.(Sunday lunch after a 10 am church service and last night(Sunday) close to closing were the times I’ve been in). Again, both times I was in the place was clean and tidy. After both visits and the lack of populous in attendance, it makes me think that not many people know about it, and I am so inclined to go back for this reason :) Sometimes its nice to sit and talk with your dinner buddy and not have to raise your voice over the roar of the crowd or music.

Solid pizza place — 4.5 stars. We got a half meat lovers half combo pizza plus breadsticks. Breadsticks were amazing and the pizza sauce you dip them in is great. The pizza itself was also excellent but –0.5 stars because the crust was a little underdone and doughy inside. Love the honey and ranch on the side!

I won’t not be lying if I said this is the BEST pizza restaurant I have EVER been to. The pizza are always fresh made when you order, however, if you know what’s up, you always order the special pizza of the day. Trust me! You can’t go wrong with the special pizza of the day, it’s always amazing and only available for a couple days and it’s gone. We order the Merry Grinchmas-Presto, Tomatoes, Onions, Pepperoni, Jalapeños, Herbs. Did I mention they always give you honey to dip your pizza crust in, so AMAZING!!! You have to try this if you are ever in Reno!!!
