Love that all of their food is fresh and made to order. Never had a problem with service. Always a pleasure to come in.

We ate Spinach-tomato-red onions sandwich with pesto basil and it is the best sandwich of its kind that we ever ate.

This place is amazing!!! If you find yourself hungry in the morning you must go to this location. We went two times back to back and I already crave another one for the next morning. So far we have tried: #1 with jalapeño Cheddar bagel. #1 with tomato and basil bagel. #1 with bacon cheddar bagel and jalapeño cheddar cream cheese And two #1 with parmesan onion bagel. All of these sandwiches we have gotten had different fillings of meat and we added spinach and tomato! Defiantly recommend adding these! :) When we told our family we visiting they had no idea this place existed and we took them they we’re surprised they have never gone. Location is different odd and it is small but this place is a gem!

This is probably by far my favorite bagel place nation-wide! The garlic bagels are amazing and I usually get the #2 breakfast sandwich on this. If they run out however, you can either wait until the next batch comes out or pick another one because you really can’t go wrong with some of the others. Most of the cheesy bagels are just as awesome. I can’t say they all are only because I haven’t tried them all. I do also love the parmesan onion and asiago bagels. Their drinks are also good. If you like your drink a special way, just let them know and they’ll accommodate. The service is great too!

4.5!!! I was in a bind, on my way to school, and STARVING for some odd reason one morning. I needed something quixck, but I really can’t bring myself to stop by a fast-food joint and let that be the start of my day. SO, I Unilocaled around and found this place. Something told me that although it wasn’t a straight shot between home and school, it would be worth it. I also didn’t realize that I had recently been to this part of town, as Zagol is right around the corner from this joint. I walked in here to find a small, quaint, store front with limited seating but with a great atmosphere/décor. Its very punk/hipster…and I loved it.(Wait, can you even blend punk and hipster together? I’m not sure, but I’m going with it.) I ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich on a bacon and cheddar bagel. It was handed to me in under 5 minutes, all warm and toasty. It was wonderful on this cold morning in particular. I didn’t get around to eating it until I got to school, in which case it was still warm and gooey. One thing I didn’t mention yet is the price. So at my least favorite fastfood establishment, a sausage and egg McMuffin probably totals to about a little MORE than what I paid here. You read that correctly… it was MORE expensive to go to McD’s than get almost the same thing, in a larger size, and quicker than sitting in that long long long drive thru. Well, I can tell you that I will NOT be making this mistake again my friends. I WILL be returning to the Daily Bagel and I WILL be enjoying every last bite of a warm, fresh bagel instead of some frozen half cooked nonsense. You can bet on that!

Wow, what a surprise. To use a cliché, this is a hidden gem.(I apologize). I only had 10 minutes before an appointment near by, so I ran in and asked for a simple sesame bagel with cream cheese. I LOVED the bagel! Really dense and full of flavor. They toasted the bagel and gave me a small but generous container of cream cheese. Hit the spot immediately. If you are looking for a fluffy thick bagel, this ain’t it, but I loved it.

Checking out the Daily Bagel. I had the Denver Scramble on Bacon Cheddar Bagel. Fried egg, grilled onions and peppers and cheddar. Also wanted to try a bagel and cream cheese so I grabbed a Bacon Cheddar Bagel with Chive Cream Cheese. Really enjoyed everything. It’s a cute little place off the beaten path but worth the drive. I can now say I have tried all the places in town and I like this place the best.

Just adding my two cents to the already positive reviews about this place. The bagels are fresh and delicious. I haven’t been to a good bagel shop in a long time and I’m so glad I gave The Daily Bagel a try. The Times sandwich was amazing. Fresh lox and lots of it! They didn’t skimp on the ingredients at all, and my daughter enjoyed her cinnamon bagel with brown sugar also. Can’t wait to come back or grab a dozen for a family event! Yum!!!

One of the things I miss most about living in Reno is the Daily Bagel. What a great place to grab a cup of coffee and a breakfast bagel. In the heart of old Reno and tucked away in a somewhat hard place to find at first you’ll find this cozy little business. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and welcoming, while the ambiance and presentation of the interior, though tiny, feels comfortable enough to hang out and get some work done if you feel the need to actually work while there. Do your local privately owned businesses a favor and stop by the Daily Bagel for a bit to eat and spot of caffeine.

Great local find! Beautiful bagels with all the fixings, and such a nice, calm atmosphere to enjoy a light breakfast with my teen kids. Service is friendly and competent. Will definitely make this a stop anytime we come through Reno!

We came back here for 2nd time during our stay in Reno. The Salmon bagel was just amazing, even better than 1st time! Blueberry bagel with cream cheese left us speechless. Denver omelette bagel is very good — fresh and tasty. Very impressing to see such consistency across their dishes. Taste and freshness. Right after we ordered, the place just got slammed with about 15 people walking in… so we got lucky, but even if we had to wait, it would be worth it!

The Daily Bagel is bangin’! Stopped in and ordered a meat breakfast burrito. While I was waiting I found myself staring down the jalapeño cheddar bagels and had to cop a half dozen. Wow! The burrito was super good and the bagels brought a smile to my face! Go there NOW!

Discovered this place just out of curiosity. Very relaxed, eclectic decorations. The bagels are really quite good! They are freshly made each day and I’m kind of hooked on the jalapeño cheddar. Very spicy. The place recently changed owners and I was a little skeptical after having one instance of my bagel not tasting like I was used to. I was disappointed but decided to give them another try, assuming it was a fluke. I’m glad I did because it must have been a fluke. Ever since, my turkey and Swiss with one egg, over hard on the jalapeño cheddar bagel had lived up to my expectations! Staff is very friendly and even with the change of ownership/staff, the new folks quickly remembered my consistent special order and get it done quickly for me. Highly recommended!

We tried this place for a lunch today. Not in the best part of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose to split a BLT on sourdough bread, it was very good, they did forget the Mayo tho. also had a cup each of the clam chowder(soup of the day) it was very tasty. Bought home 2 sesame seed bagels, they were very fresh and still warm. Small restaurant inside, outdoor seating also. Well probably give them another try.

I don’t remember if it was my first bagel, but I do recall the one that hooked me for life as a young kid. San Francisco, mid-70s. Dark-as-midnight pumpernickel bagel with cream cheese from a kosher bakery, eaten at the beach while listening to barking marine mammals on the rocks near Cliff House. Devotees argue endlessly on what makes a «true» bagel, but most agree an unsugared bread doughnut from your average supermarket ain’t it. The discussion on what should or shouldn’t go into a bagel is similarly contentious, but as long as the dough has been properly proofed then briefly boiled before baking, I’m happy. You can detect this detail by looking at the cross-section; the boil creates a visible«skin» that is tougher and chewier than the dense, bready interior. The presence of this telltale sign indicates The Daily Bagel is doing something right, and the good news doesn’t end there. As with many bagel shops there are various flavors of cream cheese mixed in-house, and a variety of both savory and sweet bagels. I’m afraid I can’t report on cheese blends and fruity items because my trio of diners had a mind toward sharing a few sandwiches. Though the place has been open for a decade, it was recently purchased by a young lady who said – while taking my order – she preferred cooking shows to cartoons as a child. My kinda gal. On the owner’s recommendation I ordered the Number 1 breakfast sandwich on a tomato basil cheddar bagel with fried egg, ham, and American cheese($ 4.95), as well as a Number 4 breakfast sandwich on a bacon cheddar bagel with fried egg, tomato, avocado, and Swiss cheese($ 5.25). The first thing I noticed was a decent ratio of filling-to-bread. Great balance of flavors, plenty of food and a good deal for the price. The bacon bagel had big chunks of meat baked right in, yet the overall effect was subtle. Can bacon be subtle? As evidenced by the name on the door there is a newspaper theme at work here. From the hot lunch menu I ordered a Headline melt on an onion parmesan bagel with roast beef, turkey, tomato and Swiss cheese($ 6.95). This may have been the favorite amongst us, probably due to the contrast of black pepper seasoning with the sweet onion. The Black and White melt on a sesame bagel with turkey, Swiss cheese, tomato and sliced avocado was also enhanced with black pepper, a touch I really liked($ 6.95). Completing our sandwich order was the Dear Abby on an onion parmesan bagel with lettuce, tomato, onion, sprouts, cucumber, avocado, and cream cheese($ 6.50). Sadly, this was our least favorite item. We all like our veggies, but this sandwich was pretty bland and underwhelming. It probably would have been better if I’d ordered it with hummus instead of cream cheese. The menu includes breakfast burritos, scrambles, and plenty of other stuff I didn’t have room for on a single visit. However, I had to try a cup of the day’s soup, made with spicy pork sausage, potato, tomato, onion, garlic, spinach, chicken broth, a little cream and seasonings($ 3.95). For my taste it’s rare to find a good sausage-based soup, but this one met the challenge. I had a taste with the sandwiches and then enjoyed the rest reheated with dinner. Though the sliced-rather-than-diced spuds seemed a tad odd for soup, I’m not complaining. Hearty housemade soup wins me over every time. The room is cute in both décor and size(seating for perhaps 16), and there’s a large menu of smoothies and coffee drinks available. Even with a largish order I didn’t have to wait more than 15 – 20 minutes. If you’re like me and limiting carbs due to diet, this is an excellent option for your«cheat day».

Love this place! We were staying in downtown and of course found this place on Unilocal. It wasn’t too far so we decided to take a morning stroll and grab breakfast and I’m so glad we did. I got an iced spiced brown sugar latte($ 3.65) which was delish! Don’t forget to check in and get that 50% off! Yea baby! I also ordered the swiss, turkey and bacon breakfast sandwich($ 5.50) on a tomato basil bagel. OMG the bagel was so soft and full of flavor. We immediately ordered another breakfast sandwich to go for the parents back at the hotel. They ran out of the tomato basil bagel so we had to get them the bacon cheddar, which I heard was just as delicious. I loved the art work around the shop and was tempted to actually purchase a piece… I might have to if it’s still there next time I come by. Sadly, we tried to go back on Sunday(because it was THAT good) to pick up some bagels ro bring home but they were closed :(I should have looked on Unilocal

My third time coming here. I remember the first time is when I just went to the doctors and we found out we were pregnant with our first child. My mom and husband was so excited we wanted to go to breakfast and this place was the closest from our doctors office. Husband of course got a latte and a breakfast bagel and I got a breakfast bagel and it was delicious. We loved all the artsy décor on the wall and even some are for sale from our local artists from Reno. We love coming here. Only if I’ve been here 3 times but I’m back again. Couldn’t sleep and wanted to get some breakfast and coffee. So we wanted to start off here. The girl that helped me greeted me right away when I walked in with a happy good morning. I’m a morning person so of course I love other morning people as well. Unfortunately, I should’ve tasted my latte before I wrote my review because boy is it way too sweet! Ouch! My husband and I had to make more coffee at home just to cut the sweetness down. Their lattes Are not always like that maybe because it wasn’t the original person that usually makes them. But of course I still like coming here every once in a while. Next time I’ll just have to tell them less syrup.

I highly recommend this fun & funky bagel shop. Artwork displays were an enjoyable treat during my brief wait for my order. My bagel with lox and cream cheese was yummy. The Honey Toasted latte was perfection. There were many delicious sounding items to choose from, such as lucky leprechaun frappé, root beer freeze, waffles, smoothies, salads, and almond, soy and hemp milks. Enjoy Mocha Mondays discounts, too. Staff were terrific. Indoor and outdoor seating were available.
