$ 14 for 2 cups of frozen yogurt? Not too sure if they charged me the right price since they weigh your cup after you make it but $ 14 was a bit pricy considering the flavors and toppings we run of the mill for a fro-yo shop. I’m not sure the self-serve gimmick was worth the cost. The raspberries were fresh. Other than that I doubt that I’ll be back.

My daughter and I usually frequent Yogurt Beach but we have been here twice and I thought this place deserved a review. The yogurt is average and the consistency is not always creamy and smooth. I expect this in yogurt so it competes with ice cream. The signs with the nutritional information are not clear as they advertise sandwiches for Texas Meltz in another Yogurt Beach location. This is important to me as I have allergies and dietary concerns. Lastly I thought the place needed better décor. Also I hate dirty yogurt machines. I mean it is the one thing you have so it is imperative to maintain the integrity.

Find another place to get yogurt as this place has the worst service in town. The management has no regard for customers and needs a lesson in decent service. It was so bad that we drug 2 screaming toddlers out of there because we didn’t want to patron such an awful place. We waited for 10 minutes to get a sample cup while management chatted. and we were the only customers in the place. When we left and I let her know how disappointed we were with the service, she said«BYE» with an attitude as if we were offending her.

For me I’ve been to a number of frozen yogurt places that the yogurt comes out semi-solid, or even more liquid than solid. To me that makes or breaks a frozen yogurt spot. We’ve been there a dozen times and always constant and tastee! For a lot of things I will try different flavors each time but here I almost always get the same thing. Half a bowl of chocolate and half a bowl of cheesecake and the walnuts. Mix it well and I’m in heaven. I’m also a slow eater and hate it when you get half way through and you are rushing so you are not eating yogurt soup. Not a problem here. It’s always been cold enough that I can take my time and still finish with frozen yogurt not slop. They have a large selection of toppings and the ones I have tried have been fresh. Normally there are two of us and we don’t go over the top on the bowl servings, but we don’t get tiny portions. Our cost is generally about $ 7.00 to $ 9.00. Why didn’t I give it 5 stars? Location could be better. Is it bad, or a bad area, not at all, but Sierra Summit and Mount Rose is just up the street and could have GREAT views if it was there.

Generally not too clean. Customer service is great though! Heather especially stands out. Things seem to run pretty good. I wish they had a soda machine, the bottle of water they sell don’t taste all that well. We did put in a request and they did as we asked, which was completely awesome! We go here a few times a week with friends and the kids. At times its really busy so theres not anywhere to sit in the small place. We do appreciate that they kept the graham cracker and they always cut us a fresh banana. Ill be back, as I come every week for family time.

The old one next to T-mobile was perfect, in fact all the U-swirls have been great so far. I went to this one to buy a boba tea. and they were out of boba, so I order a different drink, they were out of that too. I already gave them my money, they told me to get something else. I didn’t want to get $ 5 of yogurt, so I got a smoothie and it was terrible. I was also there for 20 mins :(

Yes, it’s another Fro-Yo review. And based on my 4 stars, I’m sure you can tell that I liked my experience at U Swirl. The yogurt had the right consistency, the flavors were intensely delicious(Cookies and Cream that taste like Cookies and Cream!), the toppings bar had some interesting stuff(nutella, condensed milk?), and I will definitely be back. And yet with all that praise, it still didn’t hit the spot the way some other places do for me. The experience just wasn’t the same, and at U Swirl, I chalk it up to the narrow layout of the store, the TV monitors stuck to the wall(versus recessed), and the lack of any ambiance or customer service(a greeting, some music etc). Sounds silly to want all that out of a yogurt shop, but that’s what I get when I go elsewhere, and what I’ve come to expect. Especially when I’m visiting the store that started it all in Reno-Sparks. The first to market always has an advantage. They’re able to build a following, establish a brand, and lay claim to the fact that they brought something new to us all. This was definitely the case with U Swirl for a long time. This business was uncontested in Reno-Sparks for what seemed like an eternity, until other businesses started popping up. So what happens when someone else comes on the scene with something similar to your product? You’ve got to expand or evolve to stay ahead and out compete! This is where I think U Swirl may have missed the boat a bit. While others entered the market with a moderately different business model, store layout, and service standard, U Swirl stayed the course. Well, a perfectly executed concept is something to be marveled at, and in my opinion there are just others doing the same thing a bit better. Maybe not in terms of product, but certainly in terms of people and process. I wish I could have two favorites in this game, but it’s just too dang tough!

It was my first time here, there were only 2 people eating and one working. I looked lost and she showed me what to do and how it worked. Very friendly service, extremely clean(including the bathroom) lots of options, and tasty. Not sure how it would be if they were packed. All in all a good experience.

We heard this location opened and just had to take my daughter here for a quick after first day of school treat! The yogurts are pretty good. Nothin to complain about. I personally had the coconut, praline, and salted caramel. Tasted almost like a tiramisu. The service was Waaaaay off point. When we walked in, the guy treated us like an inconvenience, not a way to open a brand new store. I dunno, maybe he was fighting with his girlfriend or worried about the rained out burning man. On the cool side they have monitors as labels for the yogurts so it’s a little more tech than the other places in town. The inside is all new so nothing to complain about. Standard yogurt place décor. Our experience was pretty much in and out. Thankfully we went at an off time because it’s a bit smaller in here. So don’t plan on hanging out too much.
