This place is a must visit if you’re in the Albany area! Run by the most friendly husband and wife duo, the service is great and the food is even better. They have huge sandwiches, homemade kettle chips and the best empanadas I have EVER had. …EVER. Check them out!

So we walk in, obviously because the name, my wife loves a place with a sense of humor. 3 tables, one seats 2 the others seat 4. Both occupied, with two people, really enjoying their sandwiches. We see it on the menu, Cubano. No reason to look at the menu. The woman there was very welcoming, super nice and attentive. The guy in the back, the cook I suspect, came out and checked on us a few times. My wife decided to add the fresh kettle chips with our sandwiches. Well played, wife, well played. All in all a very reasonable and tasty lunch with a nice comfortable atmosphere that is easy to enjoy. If the lady and guy are the husband and wife owners then that’s even better to support a local place. Menu is changing, he said, so we will be back you should too!

I have been here several times since they have opened, and never thought to write a review, but my last visit had me thinking I should write one. The food is always consistently good here. I have tried several different sandwiches and some of their specials. I like that they use Boarshead, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and the owners are so friendly and great to chat with. The space is small, with only a couple of tables, but we usually get it to go. Kind of tucked away, but worth finding. Try the empenadas if they have them!

Met a friend here the other day. We enjoyed our lunch there. The soup and sandwich were delicious. I am assuming the staff were the owners and they were delightful. They have some Cuban food items on the menu.

A little off the beaten path, me and my girlfriend decided to try something new. The service and selection at this restaurant was superb and the food delicious. We had a wonderful quick lunch and definitely will be returning. 100% worth the trip.

Cafecito is a great lunch/casual dinner spot for anyone who lives or works in East Greenbush. The prices are quite reasonable, and the product is great. I really enjoy Boar’s Head products, but they aren’t available everywhere in the Capital a Region– so this is a nice treat. You can tell that each sandwich is crafted with care by the owners. I haven’t tried the special pork sandwich or soups yet, but I’m looking forward to that. Very comfortable and relaxed interior with a few tables perfect for eating in.

This place is good! The sandwiches/wraps are huge for the price. The employees are very kind and giving. We received free samples of the German potato salad and the ice cream cones. We loved the food. And the prices. Not enough seating; however. There is an unused bar that could be removed for at least 2 more tables. Outdoor seating would be even better for the Summer. They also do take out and delivery! We’ll go back!

I love Cafecito for lunch during the week! Delicious sandwiches using Boar’s Head deli meats & cheeses. The sub rolls are out of this world. The owners are very friendly & attentive. Really nice couple. Inside is adorable; the space is small but they’ve done an excellent job with the décor. I’m moving out of the area, and am going to miss this place a lot. Just started going here per a recommendation from a friend & wish I’d tried it sooner. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed!

This place opened some time over the summer but I finally went at the suggestion of a friend last Friday. It’s a really small space but what they have done with it is beautiful. They make hand crafted sandwiches using Boar’s Head deli meats, but I recommend the slow roasted pork when they have it(I don’t think it’s an every day thing) that the owner makes, it’s out of this world good. They have daily soup specials which I have yet to try but I look forward to making this a new lunch spot. I hope they are around for a while.
