I had a prescription for a skin cancer cream refilled at this pharmacy yesterday. When I got home, I realized there were only 8 doses of the 32 doses in the prescription needed for a 16-week treatment regimen. I went back the next day and said that something didn’t add up, even though they charged me a co-pay and billed my insurance company for $ 255 dollars. The pharmacist said that 24 doses had been filled in May, leaving only 8 doses remaining. Why was the full dosing cut short in May and why hadn’t I been told that at the time? Why wasn’t I told anything this time when I thought I was getting another full refill and only 8 doses were provided? Why was I left to discover this myself? I believe I’ll be fine because I caught the discrepancy myself and can go back to my doctor for a new prescription. The pre-cancerous condition is still in its early stages. However, aside from smacking of negligence, don’t they realize that people’s health could be seriously jeopardized if they don’t take the medication as prescribed by their doctor?

This review is purely for the pharmacy. I have a disabled daughter and she requires a few different prescription, some of which can be pretty difficult to get. I have had really hard time getting her medication on a consistent basis. Mary is the BEST pharmacist that I’ve ever dealt with. She and her staff go above and beyond for me. She works with my daughter’s doctor, works with me and always goes the extra mile.
