All Tune and Lube

Omg, 5 stars to this place. They are awesome. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. Jack the manager, is super down to earth and one of the owners is super hot. They did my tune up and brakes and my car is riding perfect. The store in located in a plaza and you can get some shopping done, get a coffee, and your nails done while you wait and its all within walking distance. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

Brought my 98 Accord here to get serviced and had a great experience with Jack and his staff. They got my car and got to work immediately. And charged a fair price for the work being done (oil change, rear brakes, rotors). Also they’re LOW CAR FRIENDLY! :) My car is fairly low to the ground and they had no problem with it.

My father took his Subaru Forester in to All Tune & Lube in Renton for an oil change. You can’t beat their prices for oil changes — that’s for sure! He drove it home (only a mile and a half away from the store) and it sat for a week. During the weekend he took it for a longer spin and the car’s transmission locked up on the freeway. We had to tow it to King’s Transmission for an evaluation. Turns out that the front differential was completely empty of fluid and the engine crankcase had double the amount of oil. The only explanation was that the mechanic drained the differential by mistake and then overfilled the crankcase thinking he had drained the crankcase properly.
All Tune went over to King’s and took a look. They decided that they were at fault without pushback. They paid King’s transmission’s diagnostic fee and the towing fee as well. They also fired the mechanic who botched the oil change.
All Tune replaced the transmission and even detailed the engine bay. After the repair there was a noise coming from one of the wheels and they fixed that too, free of charge.
Throughout this ordeal I dealt with Jack, the service manager. He is GREAT. Whenever I go to the shop I observe how the other customers interact with him. You can tell that Jack is well respected and liked.
For those of you who are hesitant to bring your vehicle into All Tune because of the mistake, I offer these words of advice:
All humans make mistakes. Mechanics are human and will screw up. The best shops are those that, when they make a mistake, take responsibility for their mistakes and resolve it. Having worked on cars for years I can say that a lot of shops will choose to cover up their mistakes and feign surprise when you find out your lug nuts or oil drain plugs are cross-​threaded or an exhaust stud got snapped off.
Even though All Tune screwed up my dad’s oil change, I told him to continue to use All Tune. In fact, I brought my own vehicle in as well. You can’t put a price on honesty and good customer service.

Needed a quick oil change on my business vehicle, even though I didn’t have an appointment they got me in and out quickly. Great friendly customer service!

After having a bad experience at a different business, I brought my car here for an oil change. They did the job in far less time than they quoted. They didn’t try to up sell me on anything. It was a good deal. I overheard the interaction with another customer. I can tell that they had been going there for years. The manager understands that customer loyalty is something that is earned. I’ll definitely be back.

Was referred here by a friend because I was tired of over paying for car service. Jack the manager was amazing and very helpful. I got a really good deal and will be back.

So grateful for Jack! After leaving a near by store I was aware my tire had gone flat. I managed to get my car over by the shop when Jack noticed me with my flashers and came up to offer help it was even after the shop was closed. It was a such a big deal that he was able to fix the problem as I had my niece and nephew with me. Jack saved the day. well night! Talk about amazing customer service!!! Even put air in the rest of my tires :)

The service at this place is awsome. After work I got into my car and noticed my check engine light was on, so I took my car here. Met the mechanic Jack who told me my spark plugs were bad, so he had changed them out, which they were they were very rusty. So I drove home and everything was fine. On my way to work that same day it came on again so. I took ot back and the next step would be to order an ignition coil which he did. He picked it up personally for me that next morning. Before putting it in he had used his mechanical ingenuity to swich around the coils, and voila! My car worked perfectly after that. So he saved me $ 130 which was the cost of the coil that I did not need after all. This is my new mechanic shop from now on. Jack is the man to talk to if u have any problems. THANKS!

AVOID THIS PLACE!
I called 20 mins before my arrival for an oil change, and they told me they got a $ 1000 break repair job so that I need to come back another day. Are you serious? F this place, why didn’t you at least tell me on the phone so that I wouldn’t have to drive 15 miles to your shop? Literally, THE WORST.

Son was wonderful, they fixed my car in the time they promised. And the fee was well worth it. They waived the diagnostic of $ 90 because it was a quick diagnostic. The part for VW’s is always pricey $ 299 for a diagraph cover and an hour and a half of labor. So out the door at $ 500 but the service, the customer service was outstanding. He explained all details to me. Ask for Son!
