Bankers Auto Rebuild & Towing

I had some repair work to my truck bumper (I was rear ended). From the start they were super friendly, walked me through the process and all the work was done on schedule. They even washed my car and vacuumed out the inside. What a nice surprise. Not sure of his name, maybe Kyle? He replaced all of the striping decal around my whole truck so it would match the new bumper. Great attention to detail. I will definitely recommend to friends.

Banker’s was recommended by the dealership after my car was backed into. I was very happy with the whole experience. They did excellent work on the repairs. I have pearlized white paint which I imagine would be a bit more difficult to work with but it looks like there was never any damage. Prices are very reasonable and they guarantee the work. Work was completed before the estimated time frame. Employees are friendly, courteous and very knowledgable. I was also pleasantly surprised to find they had done a quick detail job inside and out. Thanks guys! I would definitely return to Banker’s and would highly recommend them.

It’s nice to walk into a Auto Repair shop that’s clean, friendly, and welcoming. From start to finish the folks at Bankers never dropped the ball. They installed Hood Louvers and Camber Plates correctly and made the effort to do it right… very close to the estimate as well. The customer service was equally impressive. I’m Looking forward to bringing my car back for future improvements.

My wife took her car here for some repairs to her front bumper and hood. They gave us pretty competitive quotes so we went with them. They had the work done in the time they specified and they even detailed the car at no additional cost. Or maybe it was built into the cost? Maybe they just felt bad because the car was so dirty… I don’t know but it was a nice surprise!

I came here because of Chris. I was having a really hard time fighting the insurance company and when I told Chris that, he called and took care of it right away! My car was getting fixed! I picked it up yesterday and it looks brand new, inside and out! I had no idea they would clean the inside of my car, a wash on the outside, sure. I couldn’t have been happier! If I ever need car work done, it’ll be wherever Chris is! Thank you!

I have used Bankers twice to fix my car when it was rear-​ended. They did a fantastic job! I hope I won’t need their services again but if I do I won’t hesitate to use them again!

Our car was totaled (by our insurance) by a drunk driver, mainly rear end damage. We thought we would have to buy a new vehicle but Chris, the GM explained to us that the frame was straight and if we wanted after market part, he could do the repairs for about half of what our insurance estimate was. Since it is a great car, low miles and paid off, we said yes. Chris also explained how a ‘salvage buy back’ works since we didn’t know. We picked our car up today and are thrilled! It looks just like it did before it was hit! It did take about a month to get it done but we realized they needed to get all of the parts together before they started and luckily we had another car to use so weren’t in a rush. They did keep us updated on the time frame for the repairs.
I would definitely recommend them for any auto body work! They also offer rental cars so if you do need one, you don’t have to go through a separate company.

I was forced to go through these guys and had no other choice. They did a terrible job needing two trucks for a job requiring one so I was double billed. Then they stole something out of my vehicle. I will never go there by choice.

These people are a bunch of liars.
I brought my vehicle in for auto body repair after an accident. They were instructed, and agreed to paint the damaged area with special base paint before final coat.
They delayed completing the job taking nearly two weeks when they promised to get it done in four days. I heard every lame excuse in the book not to get the job done. All they had to do was paint a standard manufacturers color. There were no parts needed.
When Bankers finally called to say they were done, I went down to pick up my vehicle. They charged the insurance company for the extra work… but didn’t do it. Not only did they not do the work they said they did, but they didn’t even blend the paint over the area in question. And to make matters worse, the final coat looked like it was painted by a monkey.
Their guarantee doesn’t mean a thing. Beware of unethical practices and dishonesty.
I HIGHLY recommend Hinshaw’s Auto Body in Auburn or Barrett’s Auto Body in Puyallup.

I was referred to Bankers from Car Pro’s in Renton after my car was recovered from being stolen. My husband and I were attended to as soon as we entered the office. The manager performed an estimate and reassured us that he would make sure the insurance adjuster was aware of all the damage done on the car. The car needed extensive body work, rims, leather seats and paint job. A 15 year old boy was joy-​riding in the car for 2 weeks before the Renton PD recovered it… smh. Anyway… our car took longer than expected due to a miscommunication with the insurance company and back log of Dodge parts, but we finally got our car back and it looked amazing! We are 100% happy with the service and the finished product. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs car repair.

These guys are great! My car died on 405 northbound at 9am. I called 2 other towing companies before getting a hold of Banker. The others were 2 plus hours out, but Banker was able to get there inside of 20 minutes. They had my loaded and transported to Mercer Island in 45minutes. Couldn’t be happier!

I got a flat on the freeway today. I called Discount Tire in Renton and they sent out Bankers to come get me. 30 minutes after calling my car I was at the shop getting some new rubber. The price was less than I expected and the service was impressively quick. Awesome!

I was referred here from an insurance company and didn’t know anything about them. I took a chance, and am glad I did!
They did a fast estimate on my car (5 min.). We made an appointment quickly too. The damage was minimal on my car (some scratches). When they got it, they discovered they’d be able to remove it simply by buffing it out. They provided me w/​a rental car while they had mine, so that was easy and didn’t have to go through a rental car company to still have a way to get around.
Because the damage was so minimal, the guy Tom ended up not charging for it! I’d suggested earlier to maybe go through the person who hit me rather than her insurance company (with the interest of her in mind), and when Tom told me there’d be no charge, I was amazed. The person who hit me was also pretty excited, so it was a win-​win situation!
My car looks fine — and all is well. I would use them again as they are fast, efficient, and seemingly okay! :-)

I had to take my car here as well. The adjuster was pretty knowledgeable. They even touched up a few areas that were messed up from a previous accident. I would use them again.

I went to Bankers because I was recommended by my insurance company to use them for a repair on my bumper. When I first went into their office, I was not really impressed by the looks of everything, it was old and really needed redoing. I was further irritated by the loaner that I was given. The car had been just smoked in and was dirty with bad brakes. (Not to mention that the seat moved forward every time the brakes were applied.)
So I called Tom at the shop and he apologized and told me to bring the car back and that he would get me a clean car. I brought the offending car back and Tom said that he would not charge me for the rental at all. The second car that they rented out to me was clean, newer and had great brakes. I had a reunion to go to the same day I was to get my car back. They were about 3 hours late on getting the car back, but it was so worth it!!! My car never looked so good! They took extra time to match the paint and not only did they do a stellar job, but my car was washed up and they also vacuumed the inside as well as cleaned the console and made it to where I didn’t have to do anything to the car when I picked it up.
My experience started out a little shaky, but overall I would use Bankers again. They took their time to make sure that the paint job was correct (the car has a two tone paint job, it’s harder to match.)and I feel that Tom went above and beyond to make everything right.

Four times I’ve seen these guys driving like MANIACS while towing someone’s car. Seriously, I’m from Chicago so it takes a lot for me to say someone was driving like a maniac but we’re talking: going 55 in a 35, tailgaiting, cell phone driving, passing illegally, cutting people off, merging into cyclists etc. If your car wasn’t already wrecked before getting a tow from Bankers, chances are it will be wrecked after.

My friend recommended this place so I took my car there after an accident. They were AMAZING! Great customer service, they had my car ready in under two weeks. It looks just like new! You would never be able to tell it was in an accident. The guys in the shop were so helpful & they made a horrible experience much more bearable! I very highly recommend this place! They’ve been in business over 50 years! I can see why :)
