Wow! What a great experience! A good old fashioned bar! The guy that owns it seems super cool and laid back! So many beers on tap to choose from. We ordered chicken wings and they are fresh and large chunks of blue cheese in the dressing. We also are splitting a pastrami sandwich… loving this place!!! We played electronic darts. I beat my husband in two games… score!!! Definitely highly recommend this place. We are from out if town, but it will be fun to come back to this place!!!

This is a bar with great food. You would never know it till its on the plate in front of you though. If their is a game you want to watch and your not here, you have only yourself to blame. Full bar and 18 beers on tap. The bartenders are all great in their own way. Give this place a try, you won’t likely regret it.

I can’t review much of this place because I came here with a group of friends late on a Friday night, and I didn’t really order anything(let’s just say I didn’t need to! :P) so I can’t rate the food or drinks here. The atmosphere of the place seemed pretty chill though. I’d definitely come back to check out the food and drinks, but overall, it seems like a fun place. It has darts and pool which are always fun things to have. Next time I come here, I’ll have to do an update! :)

Following up on a previous review: I’ve been back to DC’s numerous times, although, when I went a few months ago, I noticed a great thing: THEYREMODELED!!! The whole place looks fantastic. The walls are now a DEEP red, with wood paneling halfway up the wall. The bathrooms were redone with new counters and gorgeous, modern sinks(I’m sure the ladies will love them). The best part is: they have added more taps. 18 of them total, I believe. From what I understand, they will have a few standard beers on tap. i.e., Bud Light, Rainier, Blue Moon, Mannys, and a few others, and then rotate the rest of them. Which is awesome for a beer lover like me. Nothing is better than going to a bar that has close to 10 rotating taps. The couple times I’ve been there since the remodel there has always been something new to try, including Anchor Steam from San Francisco, which I hardly ever see up in Seattle. There have also been a few different beers from Big Al, which is a great local brewery if your into supporting local businesses. Aside from the appearance, the expanded beer selection makes this an awesome place to patronize; try what you like or experience new kinds of beers and micro-brews. If you’re not into the beer scene, they still have a full bar and a few different kinds of wines. Everything else seems to have stayed the same, in a good way. The guys there are ridiculously awesome, the food is delicious(I’m pretty sure they got new bacon and it’s to die for), and even the customers make anyone feel welcome to come in and have a drink and shoot the breeze with perfect strangers. I will recommend DC’s Bar & Grill to anyone.

I enjoyed coming here when I lived in Renton. Food was always decent, espeically the nachos. They had a good happy hour and the service was always really good. It’s a smaller bar, but big enough that they have stand up comedy sometimes. The owners are very friendly and will make small talk. Yes, it is a WSU Cougar bar, but that shouldn’t sway you unless it’s Apple Cup.

I threw a birthday gathering for my boyfriend here on a saturday night. it has a nice, chill atmosphere. The music wasn’t too loud so everyone was able to talk. It wasnt crowded which was nice, and parking was easy. the bartenders were sweethearts, but the drinks were too expensive! i got a bacardi rum with cran and oj in a short glass and it was 6 bucks! a friend got a long island and she said there was too much coke in it. my boyfriend got a white russian, and it just tasted like vodka and milk, but they fixed it for free! i’d advise prefunking since the drinks are that expensive. i asked if they had any drink specials and they didnt. I would give it 5⁄5 stars if it werent for the pricey mediocre drinks. step it up DCs! :D i would love to come there more often!

Round six o’clock on a Sunday the hubs and I wandered into DC’s, looking to patronize a local Renton establishment and hoping for good eats, to boot. Mission: Accomplished. The place was mostly empty except for a few folks at the bar and a friendly couple playing darts. My one wish was that they’d play some music. It’s a sports bar and there are several TVs, but in my opinion sports can be watched on mute while music plays. Instead, the only sound to be heard was the quiet mumblings of a sports channel on very low volume. Apparently they read my mind, though, because a short while later the music came on. The hubs and I were pleased with the music choice, too — a Pandora rock station playing the likes of Journey and Boston and Huey Lewis. Well done, DC’s. The hubs’ BLT was delicious. Thin, crispy bacon, perfectly done. The fries are golden and brown and I could not stop shoving them into my face. And the reuben. My reuben. The menu quotes a patron who called it ‘the best reuben I’ve ever had.’ Well, of course I had to test the accuracy of that statement. Turns out, it’s totally accurate. Again with the thinly sliced meat. And not a huge mountain of it, either. Usually I end up tossing half of the corned beef on my reubens because only a starving cave man could eat that much meat. DC’s gets it. Perfect amount. Delicious kraut. Yummy sauce. Nicely toasted bread. Dammit, I’ve gotten myself all worked up and desperately need a reuben right now. It’s a shame they don’t deliver to downtown Seattle. Oh, another thing — There are lots of high-top tables, so I was thinking it would be a great place for a party. The high tables promote standing and milling about and moving around to converse with different people. Now I just need an excuse for a party.

Best lunch in town. You owe it to yourself to try a DC’s burger.

I love this place… It’s a simple bar with a lot of sports on tv. The bar tenders are really nice, and very attentive. The $ 5 menu is great, and the beer selection is good.

Check it out: now there’s a $ 5 lunch menu, playa! Save some coin for your evenings but still have a pretty good plate o eats for not a lotta duckets. And why eat out of a paper bag when you can eat on plates with silverwear and view games on flat screens for the same price as a cardboard bun burger joint? The choice is yours my friend, choose wisely.

This is a great place to go watch a game, knock back some brews and get some great food. They also have a shuffle board table and the last time I was there there was a group of people playin drinking jenga. Sweat!

$ 5.00 lunch and great service from some of the nicest servers in town. They’re always polite and happy to help. Very clean place. I would recommend this place for a few beers and some great bar food. Going back again and again.

A great lunch for a great price! Dcs has always been a clean Sports Bar with great ownership. They now offer an expanded menu with fantastic, inexpensive lunch specials-not to be missed. I had the Thursday Special-the Pub Club– on 11⁄19

Very hearty salads and great service. This is a really really small bar with a single pool table and only 2 regular(short people friendly) tables. It is a Cougar bar… so beware if you are wearing purple or show up on a college football night. The appetizer sampler was VERY large, and moderately salty. We were in the mood for the full grease treatment, but they were out of fried Twinkies. We used gift certificates from with no delay or hassle.

Just had lunch here and it was the best deal in town! Their $ 5 lunch menu so great. My favorite part about it was that the place has a «nice and new» feel to it. Very clean, unlike your typical bar and grill. Sounds like it would be fun on the weekends too!

Came in here past 1AM on a downtown bar crawl, and the place was virtually empty on Saturday night. The new owners were tending bar and seemed really cool and chatted it up. Hopefully it will get going and become a lot busier.

Yah! a Coug Bar that knows what it’s doing! And such a nice edition to downtown Renton, which is really(finally) starting to grow up! The owner’s are a super nice couple — he graduated from WSU in 98 and she didn’t go to WSU but surely makes a fine Coug-in-law! We watched the Seahawks sadly lose to the Packers in notorious blustery Green Bay weather but the environment, patrons and food were all so great, we hardly noticed they lost. Or was it the tequila shots? Either way, I can’t wait to make this a must-go on my future visits«home»,
