Denny’s

I don’t know if it’s me or what but the quality of Denny’s has declined over the years. I don’t know if they are trying to cut cost or what but the food taste fake. I know it wasn’t the cooks it’s the overall organization. The eggs taste like they came from a carton the meat was thin and taste like it was blended together from a factory. The orange juice taste watered down.
I’ve been to 3 different Denny’s over the past year all taste the same I won’t be going back here. This company needs to focus on quality and fresh food if they want to stay around in the next 10 years.

Service needs to be better. While we came in late for dinner, it’s a curtesy to treat your customers with a level of respect and candor that you as a server would want to experience. While I personally will not be returning to this establishment, I hope that the service provided to the customers improves. Better service + kinder customers = happier work environment. Cheers.

We stopped for a quick dinner following a drive to E. WA. We were appalled when the hostess led us to the bar for seating. The restaurant was practically empty, so it made no sense. We halted at the entrance to the bar and asked to be seated in the restaurant. Firstly, the coffee mugs were stained on the sides! From sloppy pouring, or simply not clean. The coffee was bitter and old. My husband ordered an omelette, which he assessed as average. I, unfortunately, ordered the salmon dinner with a green salad side. Even though the restaurant was practically empty, we waited a very long time for our food. My dinner plate arrived before my salad. I needed to remind the waitresses tat I ordered a salad. The dinner was simply thrown on the plate. The broccoli was strewn about and heavily peppered, the rice was falling off the plate and the salmon was an unappetizing lump of dried out fish. Attempting to make the fish palatable, I needed to eat the broccoli in the same bites. I could tolerate one third of my meal and stopped eating. A terrible meal. I actually started feeling ill. We tipped the waitress $ 5, knowing she works hard for her money and left without complaining. We have enough sense to know the management could clearly care less. Say what you will about the Fife Denny’s, but it is leaps and bounds better than the Kennydale Dennys. They are a dive. I will never eat there again to waste my hard earned money.

Zero stars! Waitress served me coffee in a dirty cup, with obvious lip prints on the rim. Then she got an attitude when I asked for a clean cup! The negative attitude continued throughout my breakfast.
A gentleman came in a moment ago and was told to take a table, when he asked for a booth, he was told «NO». He turned around and walked out!
What a poor excuse for a restaurant!

I have to admit the service at this Denny’s is absolutely terrible 70% of the time. If you choose to sit at the bar during the day be prepared to not get any service for 15 minutes, not even a menu. BUT they have a night server named Mikey and he is AWESOME! I literally come here after work to eat and just see him! great service from him!
This morning was the first time I ordered breakfast. I got a mixed berry smoothie that was AMAZING and the French that which is also very taste !! I was seriously VERY pleasantly and unexpectedly surprised!

Last Denny standing in the Eastside. located conveniently off 405… uh. those are the positives. service has really gone down in the past 2 years and they’ve made that up by increasing the menu complexity, which seems to confuse the cooks. Stick with the standard fare and the cooks probably won’t screw up.

Food was average. It took quite some time to even get acknowledged once we sat down, even with the bartender staring at our table several times and seeing us waiting. I only come here once in a great while and would definitely not recommend it based on the service. Only perk is they have a bar, which 99% of Denny’s do not.

I went to this Denny’s today with my husband and we were completely ignored by the waitress in the bar. We sat down, she came in and served another customer. She complained loudly to him that she had sold $ 300 and only gotten $ 20 in tips. Hmmmm, I wonder why??? We were not greeted by her this entire time and sat there for another 5 minutes before we just left. I have never experienced worse customer service!

Sub-​par, even for a Denny’s. I’ve been to several Denny’s in Washington for some late night munchies or mid day breakfast but this location has let me down several times over. I once waited for nearly 50 minutes for some food and even then waited another 30 for the rest of it to come out. The reason that there was such a long wait was because the chef left due to an argument with the manager, and the manager took over the cooking with NO COOKING EXPERIENCE. Food came out bad, even by cheap Denny’s standards. At least we got a couple items for free.

Okay, I think Denny’s is usually associated with breakfast but for me, I love it for the bar. They will put whatever you want on the screen and the pool table is awesome. The service is on par and they will pretty much accommodate whatever you need. The people who work there are very positive and try very hard to get you what you want. (AC works great)

Service was super duper slow to the point that we had two items dropped from our check because it took so long to get the food out.
Food quality was as expected for the establishment.

This location is where it all began: my obsession with breakfast food! I slow down whenever I drive by a Denny’s because I wonder if I can possibly fit it into my schedule. Denny’s is delicious and this location has never disappointed.
Compared to other local breakfast spots like Lil Johns in Eastgate or big chains like IHOP, I believe that Denny’s wins. They have a quality of food better than the local restaurants, and they don’t obsess with how else they can possibly stuff sugar between pancakes like IHOP.
Denny’s has a 2 4 6 8 menu with a handful of items in each price category. The value slam (two pancakes, two eggs, two bacon or sausage) is a steal at $ 4 and they always let you upgrade to the seasonal pancake special like pumpkin pancakes in the fall for $ 0.75 more.
Free wifi too! Well done Denny’s. Well done.

Visiting from Santa Fe. Staying nearby. Woke up from resting from long drive and decided to eat nearby. Haven’t eaten at Denny’s in years. The diner was empty except for two other guests. So it was nice and quiet. The server was great. Food was great Would definitely eat here again. Service was so good that we left a $ 10 tip. Thanks

Lipstick on both mugs of coffee… food is not good. Cheap and the waitstaff was very good.

This Denny’s has got to be the worst of the worse of restaurants I’ve ever been to. Service is just downright awful, staff are loud and rude. I overheard the booth behind me telling the host to tell one of their waitress to watch her language. Come here if you want to lose your appetite. I can’t believe Denny’s corporation allow this to happen or restaurant to exist.

What a dump! Filthy floor and cooking counters. And, no toilet paper (in any stall) in the ladies room. I asked for an extra napkin at lunch and they said, «sorry, we ran out. (of TP, too)» This was at 12;15 in the afternoon. Oh boy…
I complained to a «sorta manager» who was very young and just made excuses. I told them I thought their restaurant was filthy. Doors (any and all doors) haven’t been cleaned in a very long time. Sticky and wet spot on tile floor (dangerous to customers). Positive points: good choices on the Value Menu, and the waitresses are nice.

Any time I’ve ever been to a Dennys I’ve had terrible service and not so good food. Last night around 10:30pm was the first time I’ve ever been to this location, and let me tell you, if I decided to try it again, this is the only location I will go to. The server, Michael M, was the nicest person ever. He was very patient taking our order, and suggested lots of different things that sounded very appealing. His menu knowledge was great as well, any questions we had he was able to answer for us. Very friendly, very quick, cracking jokes with us anytime he walked by. My boyfriend had a grand slam, an extra breakfast sausage and a biscuits and gravy, along with a coke, and I had a grand slam and a chocolate shake (which was huge and made with real ice cream, so good). We never had to ask for refills on drinks, he always had them right away. The food wasn’t bad either, I mean it’s your basic breakfast foods (they do have lunch and dinner as well). Love the $ 2, $ 4, $ 6, $ 8 menu for the extra add ons just in case. Overall, satisfied with this visit, and will be back again!

I like to visit a Denny’s restaurant about once a year. Today was the day! The hostess sat us right away. We sat in a booth and the waitress gave us immediate and constant attention. Better than some fancy restaurants!
The food of course was standard fare for a place like this that has pre-​processed food. Overall, the experience was good, the food passable, and the location ideal (just off the freeway of I-​405). I would have given this place more stars, but of course, how can one when the food is pre-​processed?

This is the worst dennys i have went to. First of all, we didnt have a waiter for 30 mins until i stood up to find myself one. It took another 30 mins to even get anywhere with the order. And on top of that they screwed up our order and my eggs came out green. Green… How can an egg come out green. Do not come here…

I drive by this Denny’s constantly as it very close to the major freeway and it seems to always have pretty good business as the parking lot is always filled with cars. First time for me here, but my gf mentioned she has been here many times before. I noticed that this Denny is separated into a cocktail lounge on one side and the other you have the restaurant. I never knew that Denny’s even served cocktails let alone have a cocktail lounge LOL!
I had ordered The Hobbit build your own slam which was a promotion for the movie. You had the choice one of three special items from the new menu plus another 4 items on the bottom of the menu to build your slam. Great choices and very many items to choose from. I had gotten the pumpkin pancakes as my special item and it was some of the best pancakes I have ever had. It came with whipped cream on top with added flavor which made it top notch! The 4 side items were average, but I was so full that I couldn’t even touch my hash browns.
The place didn’t have a very clean feel to it plus the booth we sat at there was a hole in the seat which was patched up. The service was quick and adequate, but to me this place was very much like any other Denny’s.
