I really like this place. The lady that is there(I think all day) is very kind and the coffee is always good. I love love love the sandwiches!

Excellent! This coffee shop has it all. All the goodies for the kids and the best customer service around. I won’t buy coffee anywhere else. In addition they have great bubble tea. She uses the smaller bubble which are never frozen. Hand makes all her Macarons. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.

I ordered Bahn mi grilled BBQ pork and it was ok, saved me a trip down the hill to great wall. I also ordered Thai Tea with Boba and they gave may way too much boba and the boba was all clumped together. Save you money if you want to get Bubble tea!

This place has never disappointed me. The drinks are always well made. At starbucks, sometimes I feel like there is lard in my mouth after drinking a sugary frap or something. But here, I never experience that. The drinks don’t have that artificial taste. If starbucks has a long line, then give this place a shot! I promise you’ll enjoy it. If you become a regular like my sister, the lady will remember your order. When I go here with my sister, she’ll be two cars back and the lady will shout out the window asking if she wants her usual drink. Also they sell way more than just coffee. I especially love the bahn mi. Where else can you get bahn mj without getting out of your car? Anyway, love this place! Check it out!

This place has a good combination of coffee, boba drinks, bahn mi sandwiches, and cookies and other snacks. I came here because I saw a sign saying that they serve boba drinks and I love boba so I decided to check it out. The service was nice and friendly. I ordered the taro which was so delicious and flavorful! However, the boba they had was the mini boba and they were all stuck together in huge giant balls. It cost around $ 4 some. I also saw macarons! And I’m such a sucker for them so I decided to get some. They were 4 pcs for $ 3 I think. The macarons were horrible and stale. They were so hard and did not taste like how they should be. I attempted to try the rest of them and they were all disgusting. I was disappointed :( Since their boba was good, I decided to stop by again and order the coffee flavor. It was really yummy and I noticed the macarons again. It looked the same since I last visited them. Not sure if they’re the same ones but it might have been. That’s probably why they were hard… =/ Overall, the only thing bringing me back are their boba drinks.

I really like this place! Like everyone has said, it’s nice to be able to patronize an individual who is so nice back to you. There’s lots of good stuff: humbao, pâté, eggrolls, you name it. The drive thru is quieter than the walk ins. Just remember that Vietnamese is healthier than what you get across the street with fast food, all for the same price. Highly recommend.

This review is based off of the service alone, and below is commentary on the food/coffee. I rarely feel welcome in most restaurants/coffee shops/etc. It’s kind of a big deal when I do. The attention was immediate, full of smiles more so, the real smiles that welcome you. The wait was around 5 minutes. During which the nice lady showed me a funny video of a dog dancing and explained it to me. This is important to me because she included me in her day, and was excited to do so. You can’t find service with genuine heart, ever. I ordered Vietnamese coffee and a vegetarian sandwich. The coffee was good, the sandwich was tolerable. It is unfortunate that I wasn’t impressed. However there is a drive thru to which I believe you can also order food from. I would return for the coffee and the good people.

Updating review from 4 to 5 stars because husband and I go here pretty regularly now for yummy bubble drinks and Thai milk tea. We have also since tried the chicken sandwich which is very good. In my original review(below) I commented on the pork meat not being very lean, but we have since gone back and found it was much better –it was then confirmed the owner now buys even better cuts of meat, husband loved it. Original review: Been here twice so far and plan to return. Husband and I have tried the pork and bbq pork bahn mi –fresh ingredients, delicious bread, and very good flavor, but like another review we wish the meat was less fatty or more crisp. The bubble drinks and milk tea were great(I tried the Thai tea and liked it, though my husband was not a big fan of that one… he liked his mocha bubble drink very much though). We also shared and loved the spring roll appetizer! The place is clean, and the bathroom is also spacious and clean. Lady who I believe owns it is nice and friendly. Getting in and out was not too bad, and sufficient parking. Overall a nice place, and I was sold on the beautiful, fresh ingredients!

Yes, it’s true the owners are really nice here. I haven’t had a great sandwich nor a Vietnamese coffee in a long time until I found this place. Will be coming back!

I’m going to give this place 4 stars because there’s not a lot of drive thru’s with banh mi. My fav! Honestly it’s not even bad compared to most Vietnamese sandwiches around Renton area. I do like their Vietnamese café. It’s not too strong nor too sweet. Just right. The owner is very nice as well! I haven’t tried anything else other than the pork banh mi and Vietnamese café. But Theye both delicious imo :)

Thought I’d try Double Wired, so I stopped by on the way to work, ordered two different bahn mi. They were great! About 10″ baguettes, good mix of flavors, everything was fresh and tasty. They have about 16 different sandwiches, plus spring rolls and other goodies. Double Wired just became an every-week stop for me. They have a drive-though window; I’ll try phoning in my order, driving through to pick it up. If I can do this it’ll be the best drive-through in Renton!

I saw this coffee drive thru PLUS Banh Mi place??? Why YES I’ll try it, they have two of my favorite things! The coffee was alright, what I need to do is ask them what brand of coffee they are using, or their own roast. I seem to always space out on asking this. It was a tad strong for me, and a slight bitterness I usually dont like that much. The chocolate was weak, I will notate myself to ask what rule of coffee and chocolate they use next time… Geez am I helpful or what. Lol. The Banh mi was good, just not my fav. The pork cut they used was a lot more fattier and not as grilled as I would like. I love those crisp charred edges to my pork slices! Yum! But theirs was more gently grilled, and the chewy fat that come along with that. Some would like the more juicy pork, but me personally… I like it coooooked crispy and grilled on top of that and burnt along with it. :) The lady was nice who was running the window, but didn’t understand my questions, like if they have a spicier chocolate, ie Aztec chocolate, she told me «yes they do!!» With cinnamon? She asked me. I then said yes! As it turned out it was… something that wasn’t Aztec… far from it. Idk. Lol. I think she knew what I was talking about but mixed up her own concoction. I also asked her about what type of the doughnuts they served, but she was quick to just hand me one and that was that. Like she was wanting to get rid of what she wanted to get rid of. Even tho I specifically asked for the chocolate not the powdered… lol it was strange. Slow down!!! :) Anyways, I’ll try out their veggie Banh next time. And the breakfast sandwiches look cheesy amazing!

Like everyone said in previous reviews, the owner is definitely very friendly and nice which makes it harder to give this place 3 stars. Maybe I need to return and try other drinks though. I got the iced milk tea and my issue was that it was super sweet. The dairy portion(I’m not sure if was half and half/condensed milk) way overpowered the tea portion. I was left with very little taste of tea and lots of sweetness instead. I’m glad it was not a powder mixed tea like most boba places though so maybe I’ll return again and ask for less milk and more tea for a better ratio.

Used a coupon from the entertainment book to try this place out. The Vietnamese coffee was pretty darn tasty and their bfast sandwiches were so much better then any fast food… We got 2 sandwiches, a muffin and coffee for 10.00… Score!

The special combination Banh Mi is pretty good here. The bread has a good texture to it and isn’t chewy and all the typical fillings were flavored perfectly. However the drinks aren’t so great. Their bubble tea has a really powdery taste to it. And the slush is really clumpy. The blended white mocha has absolutely no flavor to it and also really clumpy. I would probably be back for the sandwiches. But not the drinks.

Definitely a fan of this place. The owner is incredibly friendly and sweet. When asking about substitutes for regular milk, she listed off a selection of others(soy, almond, rice, hemp — I believe), and was very patient towards other questions. Now for the food… love the banh mis there! I ordered the BBQ pork, the grilled pork, and a combination of BBQ pork and another kind of Vietnamese pork. The bread used was very crunchy, but not hard to the extent where you had to tug at the bread to get it to rip, the jalapenos were a bit spicy(mmm!), and all the other fillings in it(cucumber, cilantro, marinated carrot, etc.) just screamed LOVEME. And love, I did. The grilled pork was definitely my favorite; it is the«typical» banh mi — the cut up pieces of pork that look like teriyaki pieces. The BBQ pork has the pink colored pork — also good. The two combination was also tasty, but I am not a fan of eating lots of meat. Just a personal thing! I’ve also had the taro, honeydew, kiwi, lychee, and green tea bubble teas. The taste is essentially like other bubble tea places, but better made; none of that undistributed, flavor-only-on-the-bottom thing that some bubble tea places do. Here, all of the flavor is distributed — which is enough to make me a regular! The taro she makes is the best. And the green tea is good as well(if you like that bitter aftertaste :). The cost of the banh mis roughly ranged from $ 3.25-$ 4.50 from what I recall. Good, reasonable prices. The bubble teas were about $ 3.50. Parking is easy! And there is wifi.

Nice visit a few weeks ago for a snack! The lady(and owner?) there is a friendly Vietnamese lady. She’d bought the place and offers a variety of common snacks plus coffeeshop standard drinks but the best unique thing I’d say is her banh mi. I’d ordered one and asked her what she’d recommend. I think it was the 2-kind meat banh mi(ham and another meat; I think pork). Next door to a salon, as well. It’s pretty good! Nice service. Interesting place. And drive-thru fo’ yoo.
